The only complaint is that I feel that the scheduleing/planning ended up resulting in my not having my things an extra 3 days, which I had to buy miscellaneous stuff to get by until delivery. We used Atlantic Relocation for our move from Bradenton to northern FL. I can't begin to praise this company and my moving crew enough! They packed and handled everything with TLC. Our furniture and belongings were in their secured storage facility for several months. When we were ready to move, I requested the same crew that packed us up to move us in. Daniel and his crew are amazing and go above and beyond! Once they arrive, they do not stop until they are completely finished and their customer is completely satisfied. They work very hard and don't take breaks or horse around! I try to keep them fed, otherwise they would never stop. Hardest workers I've ever seen! They worked nearly 13 hours at my house moving us in, not to mention three days of packing us up at around 12 hours a day and working over 14 hours the last day of packing. This company is reliable, honest and up front with their pricing. No hidden surprises. Movers are a dime a dozen but you get what you pay for. I had to fire movers in the middle of a previous move but I was smart enough to make them unload the truck before making them leave. They would have taken my furniture and held it hostage until I paid more money. The estimator had been there twice! They low balled my estimate, started adding additional charges as they were packing, they were scheming, unscrupulous, dishonest, rude and shady. I highly recommend Atlantic Relocation! If I could give a negative rating I would. This company moved our household (hh) goods from Colorado to FL and "lost" over 1/3 of our hh. They lost or stole all of our most valuable items and heirlooms, including China, Crystal, expensive road bike, furniture, everyday dishes, bath and bed linens and an heirloom hurricane lamp, and other items that cannot be replaced. We bought the extra insurance but only reimbursed for 1/4 of the replacement value, bEva use manufacturers don't make our items any longer, and in a pandemic there is a shortage of everything. read more

I called to obtain a quote, and when I mentioned that I was obtaining quotes from a number of moving companies, the salesman stopped speaking with me about a quote and said he would 'bow out.' When I asked if I had not mentioned I was obtaining other quotes would he work with us, he said 'most likely.' I have never heard of a company not attempting to win a customer's business! Don't waste your energy calling them, or definitely don't mention that you're obtaining quotes from competitors. No way to grow the business..., but maybe they aren't interested in a new customer. Use extreme caution in any dealings with this company, make sure all fees are clear and open and you know exactly what they are billing you for. We received 2 quotes, one from Atlantic Relocation services and one from Bekins, both @ 500 dollars apart. Bekins was spot on with the weight and were a little off in the quote, Atlas reduced their quote to obtain our business and once our items were loaded, they claimed an estimating error in weight and are changing their fees to add an additional 3000.00 plus!! Strange how you can have the same walk thru with Bekins estimating the weight correctly and Atlas claiming they missed the weight by some 7000 pounds (are they competent?) Their driver also left trash and tools on our old house the day of the move which also cost us additional concession with the buyers at the closing, that we (not Atlas) had to pay. This company is very questionable ethically and I would look elsewhere. I have asked for many management level employees to call me and to date have received no contact, only emails that they will bill us 140% of the original quote...... customer service, accountability, ethical business practices.... what are those to Atlantic Relocation, I highly doubt they are in any code of conduct that I am aware of within this company. read more

We contacted Tom in regards to our potential move. He stayed in touch until we could set up a final date. Then our contact person for the move, Cheryle, was very helpful. Then the day of the move, Richard, the driver, Bill and another local guy from Sidderly Movers, arrived promptly at 8. We had a little more packing for them to do other than what we originally intended. They were pleasant and respectful of our things. When we got to NC, it was just Bill and Richard, they efficiently unloaded the truck and placed things where we request. Everyone made a stressful time as good as it could be. Perfect move from Pt. Charlotte to Flagler Beach...Work Ethic beyond anything you can imagine. Sean, the relocation specialist came first to our home. He offered tips to save $$$, was very professional and the overall trust he portrayed caused us to turn down 2 other estimates. Brian and Dennis..the awesome Atlantic muscle machines..arrived promptly the day of our move and worked NON STOP! My husband and I hired Atlantic Movers, located on 31st Street in Sarasota/ Bradenton in late December 2017. We had a great moving experience. They went out of their way to please us. The men were respectful, courteous and thorough. They wrapped my furniture, disassembled tables and beds with frames and headboards and carefully packed the very large truck. The coordinator had brought us boxes and wrap paper weeks before our move because we had chosen to wrap and box the cabinets and closets ourselves. This saved my husband and me alot of money. We were all set for moving day when the truck arrived in the early morning. From there, everything went smoothly. We didn't close on our new property for a couple days and we were given an option to store our furniture etc. on the truck and have it delivered on our closing date. This saved us from having to unload everything into storage for 2 days! After we closed on our house in Tara, the truck arrived and these same hard working men delivered and assembled all our furniture. All we did that day was direct them with what went where in the new home, buy them pizza and a small tip for all the unloading.We just can't believe the other ratings for this company because our experience with them was so different! The quote and final price were very reasonable, much lower than the other quotes from 3 other local movers. We had a large load of boxes (27), and very heavy furniture, which included 2 amours, 2 tall living room break fronts with glass shelving and doors and a huge dining room cabinet with glass in the doors and shelves. We own Heavy Hooker coastal furnishings and white and off white chairs and couches. They all arrived plastic wrapped and in pristine condition. Nothing was lost, broken or dirty. We would not recommend this company due to problems during an interstate move from Sarasota to Chicago area. The person who arrived to do the quote was professional and organized. The price quote was accurate, however the service from pick up date to delivery was a nightmare. We had a large 2 bedroom move with "confirmed" dates. Movers were more than 4 hours late for pickup and I had to call twice to find out what was going on; only 2 men were sent and one was completely inexperienced; they did not bring the wardrobe boxes as was in the contract and the few boxes they "found in the truck" did not include hanging bars (they dropped all the clothes into boxes which resulted in the entire load being wrinkled); they were not very experienced in moving furniture or loading the truck. The company then could not find a truck going to Chicago area during the time we had agreed for delivery and could not deliver the goods at the agreed upon dates. When this whole mess was sorted out and the delivery was made several weeks late, the delivery truck driver told us he and his "helper" had no experience moving furniture--and it was pretty evident. The load in path was long (and we had explained this at the estimate) and in the end, quite a few pieces were broken (contents of a file cabinet were blown all over the alley and lost) and a sofa arrived with upholstery torn and grease stains all along it. The movers were to assemble a "sleep number bed" (discussed at the estimate phase) and neither pick up or delivery men had ever done this before and were unable to properly set it up. We had been assured they had experience with it. We had purchased insurance and (thankfully) taken photos before and after and were very careful with the bill of lading document indicating condition at pick up. Atlas sent an adjuster and paid on the insurance for the cost of the damaged goods. In the end, the emotional stress of all the goods being in limbo, inability to deliver as promised, the poor quality of the movers (and poor choice not to send more than 2 men each time) and the destruction of our personal property by inexperienced movers made us believe our choice of this company was a mistake. read more
