But nothing prepared me for what I was about to taste when it was delivered to my door. I used my fingertip to sample the original and I was blown away. I found myself sampling in the manner about 7 or 8 times just to keep the flavor on my tongue. This seasoning has been used with fresh Shrimp, Chicken Breasts and Scallops. Wow!! Jay Ski's has something special going on here. The sweet, tangy, savory & heat in the herbs & spices works with almost anything!! Shrimp was broiled with butter, fresh garlic cloves, lemon juice and Jay Ski's Original rub. Chicken Breasts were baked with olive oil and Jay Ski's Hot Rub. This stuff is incredible & kicks Old Bay out of the way!! This seasoning, I'm not kidding...enhances and improves almost ANY protein. That raised some serious concerns about food handling and cleanliness. Overall, while the oyster selection is impressive, the service and attention to detail really fell short of expectations.
