This her second time at the facility first time eye surgery and second time to see the doctor to check eye are doing after the surgery it went good but she have to see the doctor again. DON'T HAVE ANY PROCEDURES DONE HERE. My husband had a 10am appointment to have a cataract removed from his left eye. He sat for over 6 hours waiting for the doctor to do a 15-minute procedure. The doctor did not do his operation until 4pm. Atlantis Surgery Center in Montebello clearly dose not value their customers' time at all. They had all kinds of excuses when I asked them why we had to wait so long. This is a terrible way to do business. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor and surgery center who takes better care of their patients. read more

I have been a loyal patient at this optometry practice for quite some time, primarily due to its proximity to my home. However, over the past couple of years, I have encountered several issues that have left me frustrated. Firstly, reaching the optical department to place a simple contact lens order has become an incredibly difficult task. I found myself calling multiple times and spending over an hour on hold, only to finally speak with someone--Ivonne Sanchez--who was not only unhelpful but also rude. Her demeanor was consistently condescending, and she placed me on unnecessary holds for long periods, making the whole experience unpleasant. I was never able to place my order because she claimed that someone walked in to place an order and that she would call back to complete the order... However, I never received a call back as promised. Furthermore, when attempting to schedule an appointment, I was told that availability was at least two months out, which is far from acceptable. The lack of professionalism and customer service at this practice has been disheartening, and it's unfortunate that such a convenient location is marred by these recurring issues. I'm happy to report that I have taken my business elsewhere and they do not have the same issues with long hold times, scheduling, and poor customer service. I would advise anyone to think twice before selecting this optometrist and I would advise Azul Vision to do a better job managing phone lines and training their staff on how to kindly interact with patients. read more

They make you wait for 2 hrs. If you come early, they will say you're too early for the appointment and will be with you in a bit. Then, they still make you wait 2 hrs before you are seen. The doctor will not even be patient enough to answer all your questions! Aftercare follow up is a 2 hour wait! The staff are not very accommodating! read more

I brought in my dad recently for an exam with Dr Varsani. She was so kind, helpful, and was able to also explain to him his issues in Spanish. The front staff was more than welcoming. I do want to thank Jess for being able to make my appointment and check in process as easily as possible. The optician Marissa was more than helpful going over prices and giving us options. I am more than satisfied with my visit and will definitely recommended this place to my friends and family. I will definitely be back in the future. read more

Atlantis EyeCare has been a very professional and attentive Eye Center to my husbands eye care since day one. Dr. Janet Kim saved my husbands eyesight. She is an outstanding Ophthalmologist/Surgeon very knowledgeable and knows her profession, She's professional, respectful and patient and explains your results as well as ones on going treatment care that's needed. Emelda is amazing, hardworking, caring, responsible, professional and very helpful in all that she does to assist the patients and their needs and very knowledgeable. This is my first time coming to the Montebello location for Atlantis Eyecare. My appointment was at 2:20 after still not being called in at 3:40 pm, over an hour, I was told it's because the doctor is thorough and takes her time. What does this explanation have to do with the time of my appointment and being told it will be 2 hours until I'm seen? If they know it takes longer to see patients why aren't appointments booked further out? They explained they're not allowed to push appointments out further due to their corporate policies. Doesn't make sense how this is an issue at only at this location. Don't waste your time coming to this location. They don't value patients time, they simply book appointments to get more cash flow into this location read more

This review is overdue, but I absolutely love Dr. Kim and her fabulous staff: Maria and Vicky. Dr. Kim really takes the time to examine her patients and explain what is going on. I really appreciated her thoroughness during my visit and the time she took to really examine me. This is something that is honestly hard to come by, so I have so much gratitude for her and her care for her patients. I drive over an hour to come to this location, but for me it's totally worth it. It is evident how skilled she is in her work, and how knowledgeable she is. She is absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend her! As for the front desk staff, Maria and Vicky set the standard for customer care. They are efficient and so friendly and kind. Being able to go to see your doctor has never been so enjoyable. They are both warm spirited and truly care about their patients with how much detail and attention they put into their work. I love the atmosphere that they set and how attentive they are to the patients. It makes me feel valued. Maria and Vicky are truly a joy and their professionalism and is admirable. read more

Excellent service and friendly staff. The office staff is great with follow-up and very accommodating. The office was very clean and sanitized. Due to the pandemic the waiting area has been properly set up for the safety and comfort of the patients. I highly recommend everyone to come here for their eye exam. read more

My parents an I came to fill prescription Ryan the optician was beyond courteous, helpful, polite, understanding, ect. We had previously visited the Long Beach and Downey facility and opticians were not close to meeting Ryan qualities, I sure hope Atlantis Eyecare rewards Ryan for his good service/job. read more

Yes they're wait time for patients is no good. Waited 2 hours to see Dr then they didn't realize they could have done some tests in the 2 hour period. I understand you have a lot of patients and sometimes emergency. But when you're dealing with a lot of elderly people and as disabled then maybe take a little more time with helping them too. Now they're were so many assistants there don't know why any one of them couldn't to the eye test. Very nice people there but services are not. read more

What an amazing experience I had at Atlantis Eye care Montebello location. The staff and manager definitely went above and beyond to ensure a positive lasting impression. The structure of the office staff definitely shows a nice organized flow. After checking in and a brief wait I was directed to one of the rooms where I was instantly greeted by the doctor. I was greeted by the doctor with a warm welcoming smile which made me feel very comfortable. I definitely felt like she gave me her full attention, didn't make me feel rushed and ensured I had the correct prescription. After my exam I was then escorted to the main room full of frames which I was then greeted by another staff member who helped me find the perfect frames. Overall i had an amazing experience and definitely recommend anyone to this location. The flow of my appointment was very structured and organized which made me feel very important. The staff and doctors are amazing and the manager Imelda Kelly had me feeling Impressed by her dedication and organization that this office holds. read more
