STATS is a solid spot to catch a game if you're looking for a sports bar with a ton of TVs. No matter where you sit, you'll have a good view of the action. The food is decent for bar food. My only complaint was that they didn't have the audio on for the NBA Finals, which felt a little odd for a sports bar during one of the biggest games of the year. Other than that, it was a good atmosphere and a decent place to watch the game. read more

Cool brewery that has alot of space. Tons of tvs. The bar is filled with 2 sides of tvs perfect for a football Sunday. They have lots of in house brew. Unfortunately the Mucha Lucha was not available but the red zone was a nice caramel brew. I also got an order of fries. Went there to watch Sunday football and enjoyed the entire experience. The arrangement ensured it was easy to watch more than one game at a time and the atmosphere was vibrant without being overwhelming. Food and beverages came very fast, and all was fresh and tasteful the nachos were particularly good with a good array of drinks. Service was also very impressive, the staff seemed really attentive and very considerate of gestures that made the visit to be very welcome and easy. It is the type of venue that you can relax and watch the game, and not have to worry. Without a doubt a place that I would come back to over and over. read more

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. I didn't even get a chance to try the food because I was immediately put off by how dirty everything was--especially considering it was just after opening. The bar was cluttered with mats, and the counters, seats, and floors all looked neglected and unclean. To top it off, the bartender shook my Old Fashioned. Shook it. Who does that? It's a stirred cocktail for a reason. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Disappointed, to say the least. read more

Food was incredible. We got the pretzel bites, chicken sandwich and ribs. Incredible because the service was so awful. We watched 3 tables get up and leave because they were never serviced after being seated. I watched a food runner be asked to find his server and when he asked a server they just said that's not my problem and walked off. We had two different servers going back and forth to help our table and no one knew what was going on. If we didn't order everything as soon as we were sat down it would've never came. If you can hang in there and possibly be served, food is worth it . read more

No frills sports bar, with decent food and good beers. Grabbed a flight, chips and queso, and some wings. I enjoyed a couple of the beers I hadn't had before in the flight and the queso was the white cheese kind and solid.. However the wings were super small, and barely had any meat on them. For $18 I expected a lot more. Flavor was fine, but some of the flats didn't have any meat on the outside. Just a little piece in the middle. Really disappointed given the price point. Service was good, really nice bartenders and staff. read more

Service was fine Location is what made us choose STATS The food was terrible. The food seemed to be pre-made everything just warmed up. The pretzels were rubbery, the chicken fingers tasted like pickles ( something usually safe for a kid to like who is picky) -wrong. The fish had a horrible taste (worst that I've ever had). The slaw was ok. I would not recommend, sadly. It is in such a great spot and is a nice place but the food has to be decent and it absolutely was not tolerable. read more

Not a big fan of Brew Pub food but Stats was a pleasant surprise. Started with wings and pretzel bites for apps. Pretzel bites were very good, enjoyed both the beer cheese and mustard sauces. Also ordered the Kung Fu and BBQ wings, preferred the Kung Fu but wings were exceptional all said. Perfectly crisp And sauced just right. For entree ordered the fried chicken sandwich with bacon and fries which was delicious. Great flavor and chicken was juicy and flavorful. All in all a great meal, didn't hurt the Celtics were crushing the Mavericks on the big screen. Would definitely eat here again! read more

I ordered the double cheeseburger (add jalapeño) with a side salad. The salad was great. I loved the radishes which are not common today, but something I grew up with. They also tossed the salad in the dressing before serving. The burger was good but only came with onions and pickles (no jalapeños as ordered). I also wanted to add some lettuce and tomato after I received my plate, but the bartender was missing until I was about 3/4 finished. The burger and beer gets high ratings, but the service was a bit lacking. The bar area was nice and clean and the TVs all working. A typical sports bar atmosphere. I'd go back. read more

We tried a lot of different restaurants while in Atlanta, this was our favorite by far. The sandwiches we had were amazing, the beer was top notch & the service was great. An old building turned into a brewery, where you can enjoy a cold beer & relax comfortably while downtown, near many attractions. But because we had to get them to go, they were soggy by the time we tried them. Same for lemon pepper wings. A quick bite told me these would have been pretty good if I didn't have to bring them on the plane in styrofoam. The side salad to go? Fine. If only the server remembered the dressing requested. All in all. A major leave decision disappointment.

The seats out there were pretty low, so be mindful of those knees. While I'd likely attempt to visit again there could possibly be some improvements made. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.

I happen to witness what happened and then I read this review and it upset me much because Stats let us have a event where we had the whole upstairs it normally cost 10,000 + but because it was a fund raiser we only spent $7,000 . The 2 females neglected that there was a private room upstairs that had the debate on with sound and that the downstairs was for regular dining only and they sat themselves at a table meant for 6 people with out the hostess, and the same cheesecake they ate downstairs that was bad we were eating upstairs at the we all loved. The manager ask them to enjoy it upstairs since they were sitting at a servers large table taking money out of her pocket. When they got rude and was asked to leave the Atlanta Police officer . I asked what happened and everyone explained, I apologize on behalf of my group and then the ladies proceed to stand outside and tell the officer I am going to report you to Mayor Shirley Franklin ,and started using lots of profanity .Its people that come out and don't follow the rules that help create hard times for people trying to hold events in places like Stats. Our event was a success we raised good money and I enjoy being at Stats. I will continue to frequent the restaurant the food is great and downtown having $ 5.00 beers you cant beat that and the Ribs are to die for. I have a big appetite and when I leave stats Its full. A co-worker and I attended a private event at STATS last night, which took place on three levels of the restaurant (about 50% of the entire space). It was one of the BOA Classic Football Weekend parties. The VIBE was great at the event, we even met one of the Two Stews. HOWEVER, it took a turn for the worst when we asked to be seated at a table on the other side of the restaurant so we could watch (and actually hear) the Presidential Debates. It's a long story, so I'll recap it: - The Manager, who was handling the private event , was very gracious in seating and accommodating our request - The Waitress came over with an attitude because I guess there was no real business that night except for the private event - The Waitress said we could not sit there unless we ordered food; we had already eaten at the private event but agreed because we were both professionals who travel extensively and understand that servers (and restaurants) only make money when people actual eat and tip (my mother put me through college on tips, so I typically over tip) - We ordered soft drinks and dessert (the cheesecake, which on the menu highlighted that it was served with FRESH strawberries) - The strawberries were actually sour (tasted like they were left out too long) - Waitress keep ignoring us although we tried to get her attention - She came back after 15 minutes and we informed her that the strawberries tasted spoiled - she completely ignored us and left the table (WTF????) - About 10 minutes later, another server came over with the check (WTF???) - We let him them know about the situation - he listened then left the table - He came back with the adjusted check, then the manager (David Hernis??) came to the table and asked was there a problem - We told him about the strawberries and he said they would take care of the check but that we needed to LEAVE the restaurant NOW (really??WTF??) - We informed him we were with invited guests of the private event and only had an issue with the strawberries; told him that his servers never asked us to replace it or if we wanted to order something else - David arrogantly told us that we were being asked to LEAVE because were weren't spending any money and had been DIFFICULT (WTF??) - He proceeded to get the on-site police officer to escort us OUT (WTF??) - We asked to speak to the manager of the private event who had seated us; she had left - The officer escorted us OUT and told we could not return even to the private event (OMFG???) - The organizers of the private event came out and insisted that we be able to return to the affair; one of the other attending managers overrode DAVID and said we could return inside (at this time we were standing outside with the police officer) - We did a Sarah Palin and said "Thanks, but no thanks" Moral of the story: - STATS does not care about how rude or disrespectful their staff treats customers (event customers who are part of an event spending well over $100,000) -STATS will keep treating you, me and others like this if their owners COCENTRICS are not informed and put on notice that this is and should be totally unacceptable - STATS had other ways they could handled the situation, but CHOSE to use an extreme solution In America in 2008 this should NOT happen!! read more

Stats is a sports bar. I am not the sports bar type whatsoever. I do not enjoy having television screen hanged into every nook and cranny all of which are begging for your attention. I avoid places like this out of principle unless: (1) It's a holiday and I am by myself (2) There is a MLB playoff game that is important to me (3) Said game cannot be viewed on my own television (4) Hell is at least cold. Here is the deal. Stats is a laid back version of the normal over the top sports bar. It's at least professional without the swarmy feeling type sports bar. I was attending the premier party for the travel show Johnny Colt: At Full Volume. Tons of people were and I noticed the staff was on top of everything which impressed. The served some treats buffet style that featured some terrific sliders, huge grilled prawns with a variety of sauces, grilled asparagus and zucchini, and much more. It was simple, not pretentious, and extremely tasty. I could have made a sandwich with the various sauces served with the shrimp. I visited the main floor several times to make sure I wasn't in La La Land and I was equally impressed. I like the super clean and minimal design. They are not trying to fool you into thinking you are in a music museum or turn of the century barn. We were all fortunate to meet the owner who was great and I also heard mentioned he also has a similar location in Chicago. Parking is easy and across the street and runs typically around $5. You can also self street park around the block across the street that surrounds Embassy Suites. read more

I recently visited STATS Brewpub in downtown Atlanta with a group of three on a Saturday night. While the place wasn't overly crowded, it did take about 15 minutes to get seated, even with plenty of open tables. Not a huge deal, but worth noting if you're on a tighter schedule. Once seated, we found the menu to be just what you'd expect from a brewpub--solid pub fare with a good range of options to satisfy different cravings. The highlight for us was the selection of five in-house STATS brews. While not the most extensive beer list I've seen, the options they had were decent, and we each found something we liked. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place was relaxed and welcoming. The food arrived in a reasonable time, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. All in all, it was a positive experience. If you're in the area looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy some good food and craft beer, STATS Brewpub is a solid choice. A bit more efficiency with seating would make it even better, but I'd definitely return! read more

Looks more like a date place than a sports bar. I've never had it so good at a sports bar. Went out with my girl to watch the Heat & OKC. Not really a bad place in the house with TV's everywhere and good strong drinks. One thing to watch out for & this isn't a negative is the appetizers are huge. We started with the Nachos & ended up taking our main courses home. Next time I go I'd like to try the upstairs patio. Parking is pretty easy to find and costs about as much as you would expect in this area. This is too fancy a place to take your boys, but definitively take your girl. read more

I had such a good time eith my friends when we cam to eat at Stats. Our server Eddy was super nice and recommended all the best things on the menu to us. Every single one of his recommendations were spot on. The hummus and crispy ribs were awesome, and the house wit was a thousand times better than a Blue Moon. I ended up having a dirty bird with a kale caesar and my hubby had the brisket burger and gosh they were both so good at one point I had both our plates on my side of the table. The shrimp were really good but the salad overall just ok. Cobb salad was approx $12 + a few bucks more for protein. Since I'm limiting my alcohol consumption, I had a mocktail which of course is just fancy juice. $10 I mean it was just an okay experience.

This is one of the restaurants where the air conditioning is both functioning, and also set to a temperature that offers some respite from the relentless swelter outside. Yes, it's a hotel restaurant, it's not Le Bernardin, and the menu is not large, but they have all the essentials, including vital breakfast in the morning. The food is very good. They have a bar (I don't drink, but you probably do). You will not be disappointed. The people that work here, whether front of the house, or emerging out of the kitchen, are extremely nice and welcoming. Of course, it's Atlanta, so everyone is as friendly and kind as the weather is humid and hellish. Basically, Atlanta is like Opposite Boston. If you're in this part of downtown and need a cool, clean, pleasant place to decompress, recharge, and ready yourself for something important (a big meeting, a date, or, in my case, an appointment at the German Consulate General), spend a little time here, and you'll feel much better and ready for whatever is ahead.

The sauce one the Flat bread lacked flavor so I had to ask for red pepper flakes and ranch. Which made it a little better. The drink was just an expensive Chili's cocktail. You could tell that it was not a well crafted cocktail. Overall I will not go here again. The staff was super nice and friendly which was the only plus.
