After looking at his stellar reviews, I wanted Ben to take a look at my 87 Honda cafe racer for a radiator issue. Unfortunately, he said he didn't have time to help since he was busy with other projects and was 3-4 weeks out. Total bummer but I took that as a sign he does great work if that many people trust him with their bikes. I told Ben I came to his shop after reading the reviews about his honest, high quality work where he would take care of his clients and do work the right way. He proceeded to take time out his busy day to not only assess the situation of my bike, but topped off my radiator to hold me over - all at no charge. The manager, Andrew Geraghty, acknowledged it was a simple repair, and offered to pay for the part plus 1 hour labor. I submitted the invoice for the repair within the week, but then it quickly became clear he had no intention of reimbursing me. After two months of email correspondence about how he couldn't pay because of a compromised checking account, I finally gave up. Thankfully it was only $112 but could have been much worse.
