Incredibly happy with the service and work from Atlas. We reinsulated our entire attic as we plan on finishing the space so it's a sizable area. Their representative was amazing, talking through multiple options, planning out out the details and explained everything perfectly. Day of the work, the crew came out on exact time and finished the entire job in one day! The end result is outstanding, perfectly scraped and above and beyond expectations, they even did additional sealing that I didn't think of to ensure the perfect barrier. On returning home everything was immaculate, and did a quick temperature test downstairs and in the attic and both were identical (which says something about our old insulation but speaks volumes to the great work that Atlas did). I would NOT recommend this company. I hired them to insulate a former carriage house loft, built in 1900, that had original antique beams with that great, old patina. An insulation team was sent out, and they never wrapped the beams! They overblew the insulation all over the beams, therefore creating another job in the process. My contractor quoted $2700 to sand, stain, and fix their blunders. They skimped and gave me $2200. The $500 difference is more expensive for me, than for them. It was their men that messed up, and now I have to fix their error and hire the contractor again to restore their errors, on antique beams! I paid much more than $2200 for their insulation job. I never made them wait for my money. I will say that their salesman who I dealt with, was a good guy. Beyond that...they clearly do not believe in going the extra mile for customer happiness and satisfaction. Very disappointed. Over $500!! Their own guy who came to look at it after even said it was bad! He had to walk away because he couldn't fix the mess. read more

I am so beyond thrilled with the work these guys did removing/reinsulating my workshop. When I bought the property 4 years ago there was the nasty old fiberglass insulation falling down from the beams above my shop and it started to get worse each year because of all the use I put into the building. I had several guys quote the job and 1 of them said I would have to remove the old insulation myself (not going to happen). Atlas was amazing. No games. Their guys spend an entire day pulling down hundreds of batts of mouse excrement covered insulation and replacing it with 5 inches of closed cell spray foam on the underside of the roof. They made sure to cover everything and worked solid for 2 days straight. Now my workshop is brighter, cleaner and I know that as long as I am alive and living here this stuff will last forever. I will be hiring them again for the next project. read more

I would not hire this company solely based on they way their drivers operate the company trucks, which keep in mind, are plastered with the company logo. I drive rt. 6 and 6A (through Scituate village) every day to and from work. Numerous times, if not weekly, I have been cut off or witnessed other cars being cut off by the Atlas Insulation trucks pulling in or out of the company driveway; most times, when pulling out of the driveway, the driver does not even stop. Once they're on rt. 6, they drive in the right 'high-speed' lane, slowing down commuter traffic. Every morning, all of the trucks pull into Cumberlands Farms (on rt. 6), blocking the left-lane and causing traffic to back-up. It would be one thing if they were stopping to get gas; instead the drivers are stopping to get coffee, drinks, snacks, etc. (I know this because they park their trucks in the church parking lot next door or on the side of Cumberland Farms - not at the pumps). Atlas Insulation may be a great company who does great work but I would never consider hiring them due to the way their staff represents the company on the road. read more

After multiple quotes, I selected Atlas Insulation for my project. I found the quote to be fair for the work to be done (complete house). They went out of their way to provide me with excellent service. They showed up on time and the 3 men that were sent to do the work were very organized and were focused on providing me with a well insulated home. They worked from 9:00am until 6:45pm, so that they would not have to make a second trip. I was also impressed with the manner that they cleaned up after themselves. Even though there was a dumpster on site, they took all of the waste and scrap with them at the end of the day. I will surely use this company on my next project. read more

I was shopping around for quotes for a spray foam insulation job I called Atlas Insulation in Rhode Island. I was little thrown back when I received my quote as it was $1845 more than a previous quote I received from a competitor. I used Atlas three years ago and the job was three times the size and $1200 less than this quote. When I approached Dave Cleveland about the quote, this was his response, "I also quoted that 2017 job. It was 1000 board feet less of foam than the current job even without the crawl. The pricing level is the same as 2017, however, we have had several price increases from our supplier in that time. The fact you have a lower estimate from someone who dropped his pants to get the work says more about him than us. We'll just have to muddle through without your two jobs every three years." Dave came to my house and never even took out a tape measure. He "eye balled" the measurements. That should have thrown up a red flag immediately. His extremely unprofessional response solidified my initial concerns. Dave's unprofessionalism is a direct reflection of Atlas Insulation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ATLAS INSULATION IN RHODE ISLAND. read more

The company claims that you can speak to the owner about any issues that you may have but you never do. Their worker is unprofessional and unskilled, so the best thing to do is to stay away from this company! read more
