This location is one of the nicer and newer EOS and while some of my favorite instructors (Sidney Ford) teaches here, I don't find myself popping in. It's a bit too long of a commute for my fitness class needs. EōS is a solid gym and I have no real complaints. I get to do what I need to do and get out with relative ease. Parking can be a rough though as it's a very popular EōS location.

He raved how good Allan was and how he's used him for over a year with amazing results. Dude used words like body transformation. I've only been going to Allan for a few months now, and I'm extremely pleased too. Every training session with him leaves me a little sore a day or two later in the best possible way. Add to that, I am getting stronger. Clothes are fitting better and my wife likes the "stud factor" in my fitness and muscle mass. Of course, I'm eating better food, less of it and not so late--all coached by Allan! The man is worth listening to and every penny. My wife, my friend, and I recommend Allan and give him SIX STARS!

This gym has young to old, superfit and the beginners and a track that meets the needs of all. Ryan, the head coach, is amazing as are the other coaches. The coaching staff is friendly and focused on functional fitness and nutrition (yes they have Oly but its not just about bulk, cardio, flexibility and overall health are a focus). I started coming to IronGloves to train for an upcoming charity boxing match. In just two short weeks, I have learned a ton about proper technique while also losing a few pounds and inches off of my waist. In less than a month, I can already wear dress shirts that I had taken out of my rotation because I had gotten too heavy. I can also see my endurance improving rapidly. During my first personal training workout, I felt like I was going to pass out because I was so out of shape. Now, I'm powering through my workouts while still retaining proper form and technique. Lastly, I can't say enough about how amazing owners Joe and Renene are. Joe is a great trainer who really motivates you to reach your personal fitness goals. Renene is so incredibly approachable and always answers your calls and texts so quickly. She really works with you to ensure that you develop a routine that is rigorous, yet convenient. No complaints there, its standard crossfit gym, but well maintained, and friendly coaches. I used the gym for drop ins only, and never did any classes. So I won't be speaking to the group sessions or instructors. I signed up a few years ago for a 1 month membership through Groupon. Upon my arrival, the staff / coach asked me if I could help them out and sign up for the membership directly through them instead of Groupon. They told me they could offer the same pricing, and essentially it would help them because there would be no Groupon commission fees for them. I saw no issue with that, and I agreed so that I could help them save a few bucks. I was moving out a mesa in a month, so I planned on keeping membership just for a month, and I even told the coach that. ... So I was surprised when after that first month, when I had already stopped going to the gym, that I was charged a 2nd month membership. Apparently, if I signed through Groupon, the membership would have auto-cancelled after 1 month. But when signing up in person, they auto-renew the membership. I contacted the owner immediately (the same day the transaction was made), just explaining the situation with no hostility, but with what I assumed was an understandable expectation that the "misunderstanding" could be resolved with a refund. He told me this was my fault for not checking that the membership was on auto-renew, and that he could not do anything about it. I honestly felt like I was robbed $200+, for trying to be a good neighbor and help out a local business by buying a membership directly through them. I was drafting an "angry review" when this all happened. 3 paragraphs and 1 star, ready to be submitted. I hesitated, changed my mind, and deleted it before sending it. I decided at that time it was not my right to "harm" another business. Sure, it was a mistake, we all could have done better, but why turn that into an issue that could jeopardize the income of someone else. I'm writing this review now, because I've started to see how when done properly, a review can provide constructive improvement. I want this business to succeed, but through honest and quality work. Which I'm sure they are doing from what I've seen in the other reviews. And for personal reasons (maybe because of all that has happened in 2020), I believe minorities do need to speak out more, and have a voice.

He also does crossfit. So unlike other PTs who may dismiss you for actually doing CF, Israel works with you to make sure you are moving properly through the correct range of motion. He's done several different techniques to alleviate some chronic back pain issues I've had. Cupping, soft tissue mobs, joint traction and approximation. It does hurt sometimes....but....after an hour or so later, my ability to bend and squat are far less painful. He works through the box or look him up via FB.
