We came back to Atlas again and found it much better than our last experience. The pizza was very good. Sauce was a thick Italian "gravy" consistency, with excellent flavor! Not soggy in the least! This time we got buffalo wings and fries. The fries were crispy and delicious. The wings were not a traditional messy wing, they were more of a seasoned fried wing. Good flavor, and great if you are in the mood for fried checked and buffalo wings. Everything was ready when we arrived, after ordering as we walked out the door, so they are definitely on top of their game! It's also nice that they have a parking lot. I don't know if it's "Fall River's best" as they proclaim, but it's a darn good pizza here nonetheless. Good crust and cheese, and a sweet sauce. There was a time when this was a 5-star pizza place. I even took a photo of my amazing looking pizza that tasted every bit as good as it appeared! It's the featured photo here with the pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. Alas, that appears to be a thing of the past. Their pizzas no longer look like that. The most recent two pizzas I've gotten from them (on two separate trips) have been very underwhelming. They were both dry, lacking in flavor, and had literally half the cheese they used to use. Atlas pizza is one of the very first pizza shops around. My parents would come here as teenagers to hangout and chow down. This place was and is still a household name in the city. They are THE best in town. They are true to the core with the quality they put in their pizzas. John, Mary, and their son Louie are the captains of this vessel, and have been here for nearly 40 years perfecting their craft. Does not look like a fancy restaurant when you walk by, but it is really good. There is no only pizza, but garlic bread, with pasta and more. The pizza is amazing! There is a lot of room to do stuff, and it is mostly never packed. You can dine-in, and there is a vending machine for beverages. The bathroom is in the back of the place, and there is not much lights in the back. There is nothing wrong with the bathrooms, it is just that it is a bit creepy in the back. My favorite pizza place around us! I'd recommend getting it to go rather than stay in. Bottled beer and wine are available if you do stay in, but it's out of date and run down. Service is fast and speedy. Pizza is always made with care. I believe it's Sunday-Thursday if you order 2 small pizzas you get a small cheese for free which is always great for work leftovers!! If you're not from Southern New England you have to try a chourico pizza, a local favorite or chourico and chip pizza if you want to be daring! Both are delicious. I'm 49 yrs young and still hold the opinion that this is the BEST pizza in the city. They have a large menu to order from. A family owned business who treats all customers like family. Their prices are appropriate and not overpriced. Anything you order will be a good choice. I have many favs but the meatball grinder w cheese peppers onions and sauce, is the best. I really like the pizza here--not too greasy, good toppings ratio, crust is present but not too bready, sauce is balanced, toppings don't slip off. It's not gourmet or anything, just really solid. Chourice pizza is yummy. Buffalo chicken is also really good but ask for blue cheese dressing because it doesn't come with it. My friend and I decided that It was too hot to cook so we were driving around and decided that we were in the mood for pizza. We decided on going to Atlas Pizza in Fall River, MA, they are located on 761 Eastern Ave. The pizza that we ordered was two larges, one was a large Cheese and the other one was half Chirico and peperoni. The pizzas were cooked and were nice in hot when we picked them up. When we got them home there were still hot and the pizza was cooked just right. I would have to say the pizza I gotten from here is the best I have received in Fall River. It beats the chain restaurants all hands up! However I have better in Westport and Somerset. read more

The food is always good. But do know the workers and cooks do not wear masks. I asked a couple of the workers to please put on their mask and they told me if I didn't like it to go elsewhere. After reading the reviews I wish now I knew what Atlas used to be. I have gone their numerous times in the past say 3 years and haven't received a bad pizza. Pretty good in fact. The only thing I did not like is the jalapeno poppers are the same ones that you can get at Warren House of Pizza just subtract 75% of the portion for the same money. I've ordered from here many, many times. The past 4 times I've had delivery. The order was quite simple every time -- large steak and cheese with extra mayo (I get extra because it's usually dry). Every single time there has been no mayo. The first time I was annoyed but it was a Friday night so maybe they were busy. The last two times I called and told them what was wrong with it. The fourth time though, they were really rude. The delivery driver and two people on the phone were sort of making fun of the situation, asking me if I wanted a whole bottle in a snarky way (among other things). It would be a different story if there was mayo on it but there was NONE. They blamed it on the bread soaking it up. I've gotten many steak and cheeses before and it doesn't work like that. Listen, the pizza and food are sub-par, nothing special, you could get the same quality down the street. I don't like giving money to people who treat their customers that way. read more
