Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection. Growing up, my go-to was the chicken parm calzone (still a classic) but after having to go gluten free, I was thrilled to find that their gluten free crust is hands down the best around. Free street parking is not too difficult to find in this area, although you may need to go a little ways down Wood Street or even take a side road. There is a bit of reckless driving in the area due to this being a business essentially in a neighborhood, so be vigilant when crossing the street or picking up your order - people doing takeout have a habit of blocking a whole lane to put their car there with the hazards on, but it's a pretty dangerous and inconvenient place to do this. Please just find a real parking spot if you're grabbing takeout.
