My car had a flat tire and my roadside assistance hired atlas towing to come help me. They sent me their number and said it would be 2 hours. I was in a bad area so I called to let them know I was going to try to move the car to a different location. The woman answered rudely and asked what I wanted. I said I was needing to move my car and let them know my new location. She told me to calm down and asked what my problem was and would not let me speak. I said I'm just trying to let you know I am moving the car to a safer area and she hung up on me. She then cancelled the tow service!! I have no idea what happened but have never been treated so rudely and can still not believe she owns or is managing calls for emergency services to HELP people! Requested a tow at 1:43 pm, it is now 4 hours later and still sitting on the side of the interstate. I have called them several times and am told each time another half hour. Last time I called, the lady said she would call me right back and that was half hour ago and still no call back. Just called them back and the lady gave me the drivers number. If there was zero, I would get zero, add atlas towing, has the worst customer service. They are confused about the information they relate then blamed the customer me. I was gaslit. I was treated like garbage and they even lost the key to my car and blame me saying they never received it. (Over her capacity) can sympathize, yet her interaction with me today spoke volumes of the lack of Customer Service/Disrespect that transpired during my entire interaction with her. From the shortness in her tone when attempting to coordinate pickup, to the phone hang up, to my body shop personnel, and I being told abruptly that we shouldn't be on the grounds. Our mistake, yet there's better ways to communicate. when I responded to validate if she was who I'd spoken with previously, she retorted yes and rambled insults as she skirted back inside. Lack of customer service, to say the least. Once inside, we witnessed what appeared to be an overworked/overcapacity/shouldn't be in the customer service field demonstration of a spiraling moment. She ranted off and then called for Mike(?) To come to her rescue. I called Tuffy/Mavis and was referred to Atlas for towing. I was told that it was a third-party that I was going through to get to Atlas towing. Whatever the case may be Christine or Christina or whoever the horribly nasty, rude, crappy customer service witch, would definitely not want me to go back and use them again if it wasn't for Brian, the tow truck driver, who is so incredibly customer service savvy, and had sincere empathy for my situation and cared about my safety about the dangerous situation that I was in on I 75 last week. I read another review about how bad Christina was to that customer as well and bad is putting it very mildly. And when other employees talk badly about the same person, it would be my suggestion that you get rid of her because she is doing nothing but giving the company a very poor name and that's a damn shame for the rest of the employees that do a damn good job. I'm 62 years old and I don't believe I've ever come across somebody who is so mean, nasty, rude, and has no Customer Service skills whatsoever. I am not sure what kind of Towing company would send a certified letter of the towing bill (including 3 days of storage) following a fatal accident to the deceased (while still in possession of the vehicle) - it's not like the car was going anywhere. The communication from this company was disappointing; thoughtless, careless, and rude. Unfortunately, the family did not have a say in where this was towed and had to deal with this company while trying to make funeral arrangements. I do not recommend that you use this company. We waited 3 1/2 hours almost 4 hours for a tow truck, which we were told would arrive much sooner. When we called to find out where they were they told us the jump had already been done. Obviously not if we were still waiting for them! When the tow truck driver did arrive he was very nice. The star is for him! Atlas gets zero stars!!! We found out that the original driver who was assigned to us was rerouted for a BMW and this driver was sent to us. Nissan called this service when my car broke down, the driver showed up backed up to my car sit in the truck a few minutes got out said there was a wreck he had to go he would be back in 30minutes, after two hours I called the office the female said she didnt know how long it would be I would just have to wait! I can't give any stars, they deserve negative. On a 93 degree day my mom, 83, and her friend, had their car break down. We were told it would be one hour and 50 mins for a tow. Three hours later we were told by the tow truck company that they were on their way, 20 minutes. One hour later the driver said he just received the call and it would be another hour. If we hadn't been there, they would have died; no air, no water. Liars and cheap hucksters. Don't touch with a 10-foot pole! I have moved, this was Atlas from Wesley Chapel, Florida. I contacted my Roadside assistance this morning at 1100 and ordered a wrecker service to take my truck to the Mechanic shop. Unfortunately they chose Atlas, I waited for 4 hours and was called back by AMICA 4 times and asked if they had picked up my vehicle. Atlas had still not showed up. They then called AMICA and told them after the 4 hour wait that it would be another 75 minutes. I don't know what idiot would think that someone would wait that long for a tow truck. I cancelled the tow and told them since the whole day had been squandered that I would start again first thing in the morning... thankfully they took ATLAS off the rotation. Altas towing service has no customer service what's so ever. After not making it Clear to me that they don't release vehicles to the car insurance with over phone consent. I called their desk clerk, Calmly Telling her I was not informed about their policy she emediatly gets defensive and starts to yells at you over the phone. While trying to ask what time I had to be there to sign the release forms for my car, she yells 5 and hangs up. The establishment is extremely unclean and the owner shows no care in the behavior of her employee. I work in Custumer survive and I know how Custumers can be so their behavior really stuck a cord with me when I was trying my hardest to be respectful to them. When I showed up to get my car released the supervisor tryed to tell me (words where said on both side and they will release my car.) Mind you my car has no hold so it's not up to her if my car is release or not. While getting the prosess done they both talked and laughed as if I was not in the room. no professionalism, no good Custumer service and the establishment is not very sanitary. I spent nearly an hour trying to find a towing service today when AAA claimed they had suspended service to my area (the hurricane is over and many businesses are open today - I was supposed to go to work). I didn't call Atlas because of the reviews. However, I called 3 others in the area and was basically lied to as far as how long before they could get to me. I finally 'gave up' and called Atlas just because I felt I had no other options. I wish I would have called them first. They told me exactly what to expect as far as wait time, they showed up pretty close to when they said they would, and took great care of me. (Ryan was the driver, and the girl who answered the phone sounded stressed but ended up being very sweet and helpful.) Had to be one of the best towing experiences I've had! The truck was very clean and my driver was extremely knowledgeable and professional.
