The always personable, knowledgable and professional Jose has since come out twice for work at my father-in-law's house. There's a "leaky" dog there that tags carpets and rugs throughout the house. We have used Atlas cleaning in our home for over 15 years. Their window and carpet cleanings are the BEST! Elliot has always been available to answer questions- I even called him for advice before replacing our old carpets. Jose also is personable, thorough, and takes time to listen. I am always provided with an estimate that is reasonable. Elliot is very knowledgeable and cares about carpets- if you ask, he will leave you with a little kit to help clean any small stains that may occur with your daily use. Our windows look amazing when cleaned by Atlas! My only disappointment is that when the windows are cleaned I can see a few scratches from my PAST window cleaners! I had called several carpet cleaners who had good recommendations here on YELP - of the 3 I called, only ATLAS actually answered the phone when I called. (Of the other two, one NEVER returned my call and the other returned it 10 days later!) I had some questions about our natural wool carpet that the lady who answered the phone could not answer, so she put me on speaker so I could talk directly to the owner, Elliot Atlas. We talked about my questions and he gave thoughtful and knowledgeable answers - then provided me with an estimate based on the information I have him. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for the following week. Over that week, they called me twice to remind me that Jose would be at my home between 9:30 - 10:AM on that day. At 9:30 that morning, Jose called to say that he es leaving San Rafael, would be stopping for gas and expected to be at my home by 10:AM. At 9:50AM, he rolled into the carport. As we surveyed the space and carpeting together, he was quite warm and engaging - but, more importantly, he did and excellent job of cleaning two large wall-to-wall areas - one acrylic and the other wool. Both look great! What else could be said to praise a carpet cleaning company? They were available to talk about my situation on the initial call, gave an estimate (accurate) over the phone and sent a technician who really knew his business. No muss - no fuss. Sad to say, we had him in to clean a small spot on our sofa and he soaked a much larger area which left a ring and white residue. He did come back and attempt to correct the problem which unfortunately made it much worse. He accidentally spilled his cleaning solution on another area of the sofa which left discoloration there as well. What was a 2-3 inch slightly darker spot is now an area 2 ft by 3 ft. of mottled lighter color than the original grey. The fabric of this sofa is 100,000 rub commercial grade with a cleaning code of either water or solvent based. Sad... as it looked new aside from the small spot. We are beside ourselves as this is an expensive piece of furniture. We like Elliot for carpet cleaning and would definitely use him again for our carpets. read more

Atlas Window & Carpet recently cleaned our gutters. This was a very rainy few weeks and they were able to come out during a break in the rain and clean the gutters. They worked with the gutter guards we had in place, even though I gave them permission to pull them out if they got in their way. Their customer service was top-notch! Although we haven't received a bill yet, due to the holiday weekend, their price was right and very reasonable. If you ever need your gutter's cleaned, and you really should do it at least twice a year, Atlas is our new go-to company for gutters. We might even try them for window washing too! I used think to get carpets cleaned-go with the cheapest one that runs the specials. WRONG. I learned the hard way to go with Atlas instead. Atlas actually CLEANS the carpet. They do not just come in and dump water on your carpet and leave you with those ugly dirt stains all around the edges of the carpet and not to mention the stinky mold smell that pops up within a day of all that water the lesser carpet cleaners use. They first spot clean with these various carpet stain removers-then they show you how to use the removers and leave a set of them with you so you can keep ontop of stains and dirt when they're gone. They even made my rental carpet look great after a tenant trashed it with excess pets and poor housekeeping habits. it was a white carpet too ! They have a super powerful extractor that works great. Our home carpeting looks like new and it's 8 years old. read more

Couldn't ask for better service - they came exactly on time and went right to swab the windows, and even cheerfully took down my kitchen glass globes for me which I had been afraid to climb up a ladder to get.
