Well, honestly, it seems kinda redundant to leave a ragingly positive review since there is no shortage of them here but, seriously, I am so pleased with Burrous Brothers! The rug, after being the floor for a senior and multiple caregivers for two years, was really a mess and we were not very hopeful it could be salvaged even for use for a couple of more years before replacement. Boy, were we wrong. While it will never be completely restored to its former glory, given how it was, the difference once cleaned has me looking at it and then looking at it again in amazement. As for the staff, Kristen was lovely getting us scheduled, and Jimmie showed up on time, knowledgeable, very friendly, made reasonable promises and got right to work. And, it was less expensive than I had anticipated. So many of the Yelp complaints with other companies sound like they low ball the initial estimate and then raise the price once they get there, sometimes a lot! No such thing here. I never leave reviews, but I had such a good experience with Burrous Brothers, that I had to leave one. I'm a new(ish) homeowner and this is the first time I've ever had to think about getting carpet cleaned, so I don't necessarily have anything to compare it to specifically... what I can compare it to is EVERY consumer experience that I've ever had in my ~42 years... and this is probably the best end to end customer experience I've had. Frank gave a super efficient explanation on the phone along with an estimate, they moved around some appointments to accommodate cleaning around my toddler's nap schedule, Didier was amazing when he got here and did an outstanding job with carpets and upholstered chairs. Had them clean a very dirty sofa. Started with Chem-Dry. Chem-Dry was reluctant to be able to get it clean and tested on one pillow. Result was not satisfactory. Found Burrous Brothers on yelp with high marks. They arrived on time, confirmed the price quoted by phone (actually a few dollars less), Chem-Dry doubled their price after arrival, and spent more than an hour of continuous cleaning. sofa looks almost new. I was so pleased that they are returning to clean three carpets. They also communicate very well by phone ( owner himself makes the calls). Can't say enough. read more

We have a lot of travertine in our house. Maybe if I knew what I know now I wouldn't have agreed to so much of it. It doesn't take care of itself, and you have to understand it etches easily even with pure water. But if you do it right, the stone is really cool. So after almost 10 years it was time to do something to bring it back. We asked the company that did the installation but they, and others in that business, don't do maintenance work. On the other hand, more than a few recommended Burrous Brothers. There are a lot of 5 star reviews and I always wonder when there are so many. But I can agree, this is the go to company if you invested in a stone that needs cleaning and resurfacing. Not unreasonable pricing for the work, either. read more

If Burrous Brothers was trying to resolve the claim, why would they refuse to refund the $588 cleaning fee that their insurance company says is not covered by his policy and that only he can refund? Ask Frank Burroughs why he is writing disparaging comments about a former customer that has written a negative review. Why would he put anonymous quotes that he says is from an insurance company that no one can verify? Then look at how many negative yelp reviews I have ever written in my life and make your own decision as to who will clean your carpet. His comments underscore exactly the experience we have had to try to resolve the damage his company caused and why we will never work with him again. Rather than resolve the damage he caused and reimburse us, he wants to fight on yelp and try to insult a former customer. read more

They were able to schedule on short notice as our living room furniture had been removed for insulation and drywall project. Prompt arrival, prompt service. Carpets look very good. We have had Burrous for two years and the work performed was fabulous and I gave 5 star ratings. Not so for management, but apparently it might be since my wife questioned the owner on a couple of items on the work to be done and the work that was done in previous year. Stellar company! Can't say enough good about this company and about the tech that came to our rescue today. Didier was prompt, early in fact...and solved our problem in short order. We moved an old copy machine that decided to drip black ink across our white berber carpet, on Labor Day Saturday, no less! After several calls to other carpet cleaners in the area, BBC came to the rescue and came out within a few hours. Can't thank them enough for helping us out and that Didier was willing to add us to his schedule today when he was supposed to be off. I requested a consultation before having my sofa cleaned (since I was concerned that the steam could fade the fabric). They were happy to schedule a consultation. Paul arrived exactly on time and gave me confidence that the sofa would be fine and wrote up an estimate for the entire job ( steam clean sofa, dining room chairs, stone floor and stone shower). I specifically asked for Paul when I scheduled the work since he was the ultimate professional when providing the estimate.
