I called last night because of an emergency... and the son came this morning at 9 and was done by 10... He was very sweet and did a really good job getting most the mess out in all the places that got gross....but still some stains and extremely wet carpet ! I let them know. There were a couple spots and they told me let it completely dry, and if it was a problem, they completely stand behind their work they would take care of it. I called them today to let them know. I do have two spots that are still noticeable and they tell me in order for them to come out and clean the spots. I have to pay $125 which is half of what I paid them to come to begin with so they don't stand behind their work cause now they want me to double pay them to come do the two spots. I call that a little shady and they don't stand behind their work, shame on you. I have 3 dogs, never asked for a mattress to be cleaned... only the front of the chair... I also knew that the spots affected would be more wet than the rest of the carpet and when Jordan called me back, I was told half of what I paid. I paid 250 and half of that is 125 one spot he did in my bedroom. I didn't even see before and after he did it, it's surfaced. read more

Easy to communicate with, quick, and very efficient. I have a very narrow spiral staircase up to my second floor and they were able to handle it with no problem using a long hose. My hunting cat left us some nasty surprises on the carpet, and there was also a significant amount of rat poop which I was hesitant to clean myself because bleach would stain the carpet, and they took care of it all! See before/after photos for the stains they removed. The price was quite reasonable. One thing to note is that they did raise the price by about $50 compared to the initial quote when they arrived, which I found still to be very reasonable given the state of my carpet, but worth keeping in mind when you get an estimate. They also did not initially clean the area under a small couch, which other cleaners have cleaned in the past (it's quite a light couch, you can push it to the side easily). When I called about it though they came back right away the next day to get that area. Could not be happier! Miguel, Soledad AND MIA! are amazing. I sent a message asking for a quote and Soledad responded immediately. Quote was fair and inexpensive compared to others. We spoke on the phone and scheduled for my house cleaning which consisted of three rooms. They arrived on time for the appointment and came inside first to see how we were going to set up. This was the first time having my carpets professionally cleaned as I have a home cleaner that I usually clean them myself. Since their cleaning unit is out of their van, we needed to figure out the logistics since I'm on the 2nd floor of a condo building. (I did speak to Soledad about this over the phone in preparation.) We were able to hook up the water line to my water source near my washing machine. From arrival to finish was only about an hour! My carpets look great and smell good too! Really bad experience with this company. I have a two bed apartment and they spent an hour cleaning. It initially looked ok but as it dried the stains started coming back. Dabbed at the stains with a paper towel and was able to pull up lots of dirt on multiple spots. Additionally they didn't extract almost any water and my apartment is still damp after two days. I did exactly what they said and it didn't work in terms of drying it. Also in many areas it feels as if there is still soap in the carpet as it is very tacky. I reached out explaining what happened and they refused to come back and fix it. They only spent 1hr in my apartment and charged me $400. They did not tell me any potential risks of cleaning in my apartment. I have hired steam cleaners before and have never had this issue, additionally if I had issues with persistent stains they had come back with no additional charges. Overall, they did the absolute bare minimum and I would not recommend them. read more

Extremely unprofessional and frustrating experience. My appointment was canceled before the technician even arrived, with the explanation that there was "no parking." However, I had clearly communicated in advance that the garage has a height restriction, but guest parking is available, and there is also street parking directly in front of the building that can accommodate a cleaning truck. Despite being provided with these details ahead of time, they still refused to proceed with the service. This points to poor communication and a lack of willingness to follow through on scheduled appointments. At no point during booking was I informed that parking limitations would prevent service. Canceling last-minute -- even after confirming viable parking options -- shows a lack of professionalism and respect for the customer's time. I had already arranged my schedule around this appointment, so this was a complete waste of time. I would not recommend this company based on reliability and communication. I expect a clear explanation and an appropriate resolution for this inconvenience. read more

Overall, great service. The communication is professional and prompt. However, to echo some of the prior comments, they do add on costs to the initial quote. They do let you know about these costs ahead of time (one was following the initial quote and the other was on the day of service). While their initial quote is one of the lower if not lowest of Bay Area local options, the final price ends up being similar if not higher than some others, so would recommend keeping this in mind as you compare quotes. For example, if you live in an apartment complex that does not have parking in close proximity to your unit, as of mid 2023, there is an additional $30 charge for use of a portable device. There was also an extra $30 charge for use of pet cleaning products. read more

I used this company a week ago to clean my large area rug. They came out, set up, sprayed the rug, did a pass with the vacuum, and was done in about 10-15 minutes. They told me to run my ceiling fans and leave my door open and the rug should be dry by the next morning. Unfortunately, it was not dry and began to mildew. The smell permiated my entire home. I reached back out and they came back to do a "light" cleaning of the front and back of the rug. This time I was told it needed to hang on my fence outside overnight. Well, I brought it in this morning and left to run a few errands. Came back and that musty, mildew smell is back throughout my house. I just rolled up the rug and threw it on my porch. It's ruined and now I have to buy a new one. I'm really disappointed that this is the outcome but now I know to not use another service again. Gave two stars as they did come back out. read more

You spend a lot of time in your bed - if not, prioritize getting better acquainted - but when you start feeling gross about the sheets, or the cover, you simply wash it. The couch probably comes in second in terms of Most-Utilized-Piece-Of-Furniture but sadly it's not easy to clean thoroughly. Spot clean? Sure. Febreze to conceal the smell? Yeah. But probably disinfect and scrub down? Well, that requires an expert(s). This is where M&J comes in! I received a super fast response to my quote request ($99 for couch cleaning + $30 fee for the portable equipment) and a same day availability! They were $50 cheaper than other service providers. In the end, I'm super happy. They showed up on time, did the job within 30 minutes or so, left no mess behind, and were courteous and transparent throughout the process (some stains are like scars, they're here to stay).
