Nichole Boyes 3 reviews·4 photos…read moreI'm going to try to keep this short and sweet I had worked on twice at this place did amazing work the third time I purchased my alternator for $300 at advanced Auto cuz I had somebody that was going to do the work and they backed out so I brought my car to priority auto with the part Alan the owner said he would make a deal if I paid cash so I paid cash we filled out the paperwork said I would get a copy when the work was done when he signs off on it four days later I go to get my car he says oh you changed the alternator but now your battery is dead trying to get me to get a new battery I said no well I go to pick up my car my car makes it home and dies I called my friend that was going to do the work for me he couldn't because he was just too busy take a look underneath and I could and realize that my alternator had been spray painted this would be why he did not give me my core back I have went in numerous times and talk to Bryce saying that I need a copy of my receipt and he proceeds to tell me I have to wait for the owner I still have not been provided with a copy of this work that was done on my vehicle mind you they did not change the alternator they spray painted it and kept my part and I've been without a car for 2 weeks now so I will be filing a police report with the West Warwick Police department and I have just started the process with t better Business bureau do not take your car to them one thing fixed something else breaks the following week or how about they just fix things and add it to your bill and expect you to pay it that happened me the last time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and now I'm without a vehicle

The rear window would not work. I was quoted $725 to fix the issue. I was under the gun because I was selling the car within a few days. I went to YouTube. and the issue came up very quickly on what was needed. I was charged $275 for the part which was the wrong part. I did not need the motor nothing wrong with it. I told the guys you need to clear the yellow code after the repair. Christian nodded his head like yup. When I was told the car was ready. I asked if code had been cleared . Yes I was told no problem. I paid the outrageous bill.. For in the car code NOT cleared . I waited 45 mins no luck. I had to leave and come back. I will never bring my car to these guys again JOKE. There is nothing good about having your car damaged in an accident. The only good thing was, I didn't have to think about where to bring the car. I already knew, because of what happened to my son. He'd been in his own accident, a year before mine, and I was in New York City when it happened, too far away to do anything but worry. Richard Porcelli did what I couldn't. He sent a tow truck. He took my son under his wing the way a parent would, calmed him down, sat with him through one of the worst days of his life. I wasn't there for that. Richard was. I don't forget things like that, and I wasn't about to take my own car anywhere else. Porcelli's has been on Providence Street in West Warwick for more than forty years, and there's a difference between a business that's been doing something a long time and one that's just been open a long time. Those aren't the same thing. You can feel which one you're standing in. My insurance adjuster, a man I'd never met before this, told me flat out that his company likes working with Porcelli's. Honest, he said. Good work. Integrity. That's not a word insurance adjusters throw around freely about anyone. I ended up not at fault, so no deductible, and Porcelli's set me up with a rental. Given how the insurance company usually handles that part, I was bracing for whatever the cheapest available option was. Instead I drove off in a 2024 Jeep Compass. I was pleasantly surprised, though knowing Porcelli's by then, I probably shouldn't have been. The adjuster told me not to expect the car back before August 28th. I got the call today, August 6th, that it's done. It still needs an inspection, and instead of telling me to bring it back separately for that, they told me they'd put it up right away so it would already be finished by the time I came to get it. Nobody asked for that. It just happened, the same way it happened for my son, which is really the whole point. Porcelli's doesn't perform well once. It performs the same way every time. It's not an exaggeration to say that Porcelli's will treat you like family. If you ever find yourself needing them, and I hope you don't, you'll understand exactly why I told you to come here.
