Very, Very, Very UNHAPPY. Bought 4 phones in March 2017. One phone is not charging at all, tried 3…read moredifferent charges. Called warranty department. Was instructed to take the back on the phone off and check the expiration date of the battery. It is 2017-11-07. Which is my math is correct is 4 months prior to the purchase date of the phones. Went back to Cricket Dealer on Route 6, Scranton, they stated there was nothing they could do, that I had to call LG warranty department. The manager on duty even denied the fact that batteries have expiration dates, that I had to call LG. Check 2 of the other phones, they also had either a Nov. or Dec. expiration date. (My brother-in-law has the 4th phone so I could not check that expiration date). Called customer service, all they would do is file a complaint against the store. Asked for a refund for the line I cannot use, was informed that service in nonrefundable. Went on line to cricket customer service chat, was informed that this is an issue with the store there is nothing they could do to help. So, in short, bought 4 phones, with at least 3 of the phones having expired batteries months before purchase and the store has refused to help.

This happened late 2014…read more Always remember this isn't a Verizon store its a third party vendor. I went there in a bind and needed a new phone quickly plus I was due for an upgrade... I thought this was a true Verizon store by how it represents its self with Verizon marketing collateral. Obviously I was wrong. When I got there a sales rep suggested a cheaper plan than my current one. It made sense at the time but the rep wasn't very straight forward about it and they knew I was in a rush. It was complete lie, they put me on some kind of family plan that made my bill double. It's was cheaper for a family not an individual... Not only did they screw up my old plan they also put me on a insurance plan for my phone which I was never informed about. My bill went from normally $70 to $140. After realizing I went to the CORPORATE VERIZON store in Wilkes-Barre and they fixed it for me. Bottom line: This is not a trustworthy shop.

I was told I needed to pay $130 in taxes and fees for a new phone, as Patricia stated my device from T-Mobile would not transfer online--something the Verizon store on Route 6 (huge shoutout to Liam and his manager) was able to do without any issues. After getting my line fixed at the real Verizon store, I returned to the TCC the same day to return the phone. That's when I was told I'd have to pay a $100 restocking fee (double what Verizon stated and double what was shown on the receipt they printed for me, as I was not given one upon leaving). When I mentioned calling Verizon corporate, Patricia dismissively said, "Okay then," and I left. After speaking with Verizon's corporate support, they confirmed that I should be refunded in full, minus a $50 restocking fee, not $100. When I went back to the store, I kept the Verizon representative on the phone to ensure I was charged correctly. At that point, Patricia stated she didn't know how much I would be refunded, and it all depends on what comes up in her system. She refused to refund $79.99, claiming it was a "service fee" to the store for activating my line, and in addition to the $50 restocking fee, she charged me $8.60 in tax for the return. Thankfully, the Verizon representative on the phone assured me that I would be refunded the money the store was keeping-- as Verizon would credit my account for the difference. Customers during all of these exchanges noted similar concerns, stating it is always a problem dealing with this store, and one family I was speaking to even left after waiting an hour because she was helping three people at once, while one employee couldn't access most concerns because Patricia is the only one with authority/credentials for the store. This entire ordeal was a nightmare, and I would never recommend this TCC store. If you need any Verizon-related service, go to the official Verizon store on Route 6 instead. *Note- take notice of how the responses all state "we look forward to working with you again" and mention the store location to "satisfied" customers. Those who express concerns are directed to deal directly with a company run store or call customer service, not return to their TCC retail only store, that has no connection to the servicer, Verizon, as they are merely authorized retailers of Verizon cell phones and devices. *

We purchased 4 new phones and were charged a $50 "set up" fee per phone even though they did not set up the new phones. They told us at checkout it was taxes. Its now been 9 days since we found out and they are avoiding our calls and hanging up on us. If you google it and this is a common occurrence at TCC stores.
