The Tucson Thrift Shop actually connects with a pass through with another store called, The Other Side. I don't know if they're two separate shops or one big one, but they sold the same type of vintage clothes, costume jewelry, and costumes perfect for any occasion. The staff were friendly, but stayed behind the counter and offered a nice smile and said hello when you entered the store and have a nice day when you left. They certainly dressed as if they shopped at their own store and had enough tie dyed shirts to make any deadhead happy. If you're in town, it's definitely worth a peek inside. I bought a hamburger hat for my burger club and my son would have bought a couple items if his "square" parents weren't there to make him feel "lame.

I have been in this thrift store once in my life and again its nothing but garbage and scraps that should just go in the trash. They also charge $60.00 for a pair of dirty dusty nike shoes. I would HIGHLY recommend you steer clear from this place. There is nothing special about it or the owner. She was nothing close to being a gem on encounter.
