I can never get enough! I want to petition atwaters to open in Boston so I'll be able to have it other than when I'm home visiting family!!' I've never had anything that wasn't exceptional and fresh. The food was great...until my mom and I found hairs in BOTH of our dishes . There was a hair on my moms plate and a hair on my sandwich. Our waitress wasn't very friendly. My mom ordered a pecan pie with her lunch and she said, "sure, why not?". As if she shouldn't have it. Although I saw some of the other waitresses and they seemed very friendly and accommodating. However, I think with a nicer waitress...and less hair, it would have been a very enjoyable meal. read more

Our party ordered a variety of sandwiches, soups, and brunch items. They were all delicious, especially the chicken salad sandwich and the spicy red bean and sausage soup (which was not actually very spicy but still quite tasty). The mint tea was also very refreshing. One of our friends is pretty picky about her food and had a bunch of substitutions/special requests, but the server took it in stride and was totally cool with it. Overall, the service is great and the food is tasty/comforting. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because nothing about the restaurant is mindblowing --it's definitely good, but not so special that I rave about it afterward, which is my requirement for 5 star ratings. My go to place for a latte. Iced or hot, it is always right. Embarrassingly, depending on my caffeine needs, I may visit multiple times in a day. The service is always great and I love the drive thru option on rainy days. In fact, I don't think I would've survived early motherhood without the drive thru. No other place jn this area offers non fast food in this format. Love their fresh soups & salads as well. Always excited when the crab cake is on the menu. This location is small so get there early during peak hours if you want to dine in. read more

I dined here for the first time today (drive through). I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing customer service. I got the pot pie w/side salad and a side of fruit. All of the food tasted so fresh. The chicken pot pie had amazing flavor. The crust was flaky and crispy. I just wish it was bigger. I felt like it was a little too small for what I was paying. I love this place for many reasons. I am a locavore (I prefer restaurants that serve locally sourced organic food). The menu, although not deep, is thoughtful and highly delicious. Keep in mind, seating is limited, so if you want to stay for a meal, arrive early or late (breakfast or lunch). There is a drive through option and a hidden herb garden near the drive through. The service is nice, patient and attentive. I could sit here for hours. Love it! read more

Good soup and great bread! It's a healthy place that provides a good portion of soup/salad/sandwiches. The sandwiches fall under the 'artisan' category. The bread is fresh and thick, so really you can get a half sandwich and soup and should be good to go! There are only seats for about 20 people inside and a few more outside (weather permitting). Behold! they have a drive-thru!!! It's not fast though, so keep the NPR/WTMD going while you wait. I don't think they salt their food enough, but you can do so, to taste and enjoy! read more

Very yummy for eating out and also has great selection of breads, coffee, and other goods. Only downside is it is expensive for a sandwich/salad type place, and it can get crowded kind of easily so you may have to wait for a table. read more

The sandwiches are really good, but the portions are so small for what you pay for.. I usually get the half sandwich and after finishing, it makes me a little sad but I'm too cheap to buy the whole! Sweet potato sandwich was a perfect light and satisfying meal! Arrived at 12:15 on a friday and it was packed. Waited 20 minutes to be seated. That's a tough wait for a workday lunch but well worth it because the food is awesome and service is superb. read more

Love this place; wholesome , quality food that is good. This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Coffee drinks are spot on, also and a good tea selection. Don't get me started on the baked good, all SO yummy. 4 stars , not 5 bc sometimes the service is a bit off. Great patio, but once again we got forgotten - this time outside. Had breakfast ( yummy) but no offer of refill on the bottomless coffee. Finally got the check, but 20 minutes later, no one has come back to take my $$. Come on guys, get it together . read more

Usually I love their simple breakfast when i eat in there. There's a convenient drive thru however the line takes forever and make sure you check that your order is correct when you get your food. I ordered a egg cheddar biscuit which is supposed to be a breakfast sandwich with eggs and bacon on it. When I opened it to eat it at work I realized I was only given a bland biscuit.... definitely not the breakfast I was expecting or paid for. Out of curiosity I looked on the menu to see if they had just simply given me someone else's order or misheard my order. The closest thing I could find on their breakfast menu to what I received is just a side of a cheddar biscuit which even if they thought that is what I ordered should have come with jam and butter.. which would have made the tasteless biscuit slightly better, but it didn't even come with that. All around disappointed in this restaurant and will likely not bother trying their drive thru again. read more

Their chicken salad sandwich is amazing! It's a little pricey but worth it. Oh and their fresh lemonade is definitely worth a try!

We went in and the lady seating us said it would be a five minute wait. Fifteen minutes later, she gave our table to the people that were waiting behind us. We eventually left because of the wait. A very small restaurant with limited seating. It's best to arrive before the rush. Luckily we did. They have several sandwiches (we were there for an early lunch) that can be ordered as a half or whole. Great idea. I ordered a half chicken salad at the recommendation of my lunch date as she was a regular while a student at Towson U. I also ordered a half of the BLT. Both were good, but the chicken salad did eeeek out the BLT, though it was good as it had avocado in it too. Nothing comes with the sandwiches so we split a bag of chips which was plenty for us. The bill can add up quickly though as the sandwiches (halves) came in around $6 per half. With her whole chicken salad and my two halves, plus a bag of chips and two drinks, the bill was in the $30 range. Not a cheap lunch but it was tasty and hit the spot. Service was good too despite how busy. The day we were there though, the women's restroom was flooded. Only one restroom per "gender". read more

You can order anything off the menu at Atwaters and it will be fantastic. The portions are perfect, the quality incredible and prices modest. I love going here to met friends for a cup of coffee and breakfast or for a business lunch. My only complaint is that it is crowded and has limited space for tables. Had Tomato Bread soup with Kale and all the veggies you could want. super good. the service was awesome..the girl at the register was exactly who you want there. Went to Atwaters today with my husband and daughter. We waited 20 minutes for a table. During that time, the host proceeded to seat a single person, who arrived after us, at a table for three. We assumed that he did this, because there was a larger table that was being wiped down at the time that was going to be ours. He then seated a party of four, who also arrived after us, at that table. When we asked why, he said that he had accidentally hit their little girl who was running around the restaurant, and that he felt badly. That didn't explain why we weren't seated at the 3 person table nor why we were being made to wait because he hurt someone else. We were never offered a different seat, nor a discount for the discourtesy to which we were subjected. Disgraceful!! read more

As a vegetarian I was amazed at how many options they had. Loved the potato salad. The black bean burger with pickle relish was absolutely selfish. We always stop here after getting sandwiches from Neopols Smokery to get some desserts. We always get the cheesecake and the mocha chocolate cake which are both very delicious. Though sometimes I noticed my mocha cake was kind of dried out. I see they leave it sitting on the counter sliced and maybe all the air dries it out. Besides the times that it tastes dry its still pretty decent just wish they could maybe wrap up or put a lid on it so it retains the moisture better. read more
