We could not have been more impressed by Sean. We planned our wedding from out of town and only spoke to him over the phone before we met him for the first time at our wedding. I know, it sounds crazy but for out of town brides, if you need to book a DJ and aren't able to meet him before you book, you can trust that you will be very well taken care of with Sean. He is professional, responsive and pays attention to your style and the vibe you are going for with the music for both the ceremony and the reception. We suggested a few songs for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing and he found other songs that fit right in with our preferences. To be honest, at first I was a little concerned about having a DJ provide ceremony music because I had always seen musicians do it. Unfortunately it wasn't in the budget to hire musicians, but we could not have been happier with how Sean handled the music for our ceremony. He faded in and out at the perfect moment and it was seamless. During the reception, his song choices were awesome, appropriate and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Sean is an AMAZING & professional DJ! We hired him for our December wedding at The Austin Club. If he has your wedding date available don't hesitate...book him ASAP!! Sean was so great to work with & we can't say enough good things about our experience working with him. We had two meetings with him leading up to our wedding & both meetings put us completely at ease & made us feel very confident that he was going to be a huge asset to our wedding. We were right! ATX DJ is the best. From the initial first meeting with Sean, we knew this was the guy for our wedding. He listened to everything we wanted to incorporate in with our wedding as well offer much advise and suggestions on parts that we were unsure of. He makes it incredibly simple to pick your playlist with his online website that has tons of popular song's from all different decades and for each occasion during the wedding. Sean stayed in contact with us up to the time of the wedding and with one final meeting a few days before the event to assure we had everything setup that we wanted to dance too. The flow of all music could not have gone any smoother and the arrangement was perfect. Sean was great to work with and made sure that our wedding reception was rockin'. First off, during the planning stages he is very helpful. He has a website where you can browse music and work on the schedule for your day. We met with him a couple times in person as well, and I always felt like he understood exactly what we wanted. On the actual day, he's really good at keeping everything flowing without talking TOO much or being cheesy. Finally, and most importantly, he did a phenomenal job of getting a feel for our crowd and keeping them dancing all night long. We had a combination of older guests and young adults who love indie music. He made sure everyone got to listen to some songs they love and our dance floor was full all night. DJ Sean was everything we could have hoped for and the one vendor we never had any worries about! We picked him over other DJs we interviewed for our wedding because he was the most professional and responsive in answering our questions. He kept that same professionalism throughout the process, meeting with us ahead of time, offering advice and suggestions from his own years of experience when we were faced with hard decisions, and always a couple steps ahead of the game. I planned a casual happy hour/networking event for my company and could not be happier with Sean's help in keeping everyone entertained. I was planning this event from San Diego so I had no idea what type of music would fit in the Downtown Austin area and couldn't really offer any suggestions for Sean to get an idea of what we wanted played. To my relief, Sean took what little suggestion I could give and ran with it. He knew exactly what kind of vibe we needed at a casual, corporate event. I can be short about DJ Sean. He is amazing. A real professional and that makes a difference on the big day. No stress when Sean is around. We met Sean through Skype the first times since we live in the UK and met 2 more times in Austin. He makes you feel like a very important customer and he means it.
