Back to Aubrey's again and as usual the service was excellent as was the food. We shared the thick sliced potato chips with our friends and l had the chicken finger platter and my wife had a salad which she put some of my chicken fingers on. All of this was great, however we saw someone having what looked like banana puddin and we decided to try it. Oh my it was so delicious. We were so excited to see that our favorite restaurant from east TN made it to Lebanon! We walked in a busy Saturday night. We were quoted a 45 min wait but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated after only waiting for about 30 mins. Sitting in the bar area at a booth wasn't to bad! A little noisy but not bad. Our server was just ok. Not great, not bad, just ok. We went for a while with empty drink glasses and there were long stretches where our server was no where to be found (or seen). The food was excellent! There were so many food choices on the menu. We ordered our burgers medium. There's no way these were cooked medium with a pink center. These burgers were pretty well done but were still very tasty. The side salad was our favorite! Aubrey's has prob the best restaurant side salad & dressings too! Aubrey's is a bit on the expensive side but we felt like the quality of the food was worth the price. Overall we'll be back but the service def has room for improvement! read more

First thing that happened, the Host was outright rude. We almost walked out. Our Waitress was great. The food has problems. My wife's salmon was raw in the middle. They refired it, but we were over it by the time it came out . My burger was dry. If you can't cook a burger , you need help. I wished the food matched the building inside. The manager made no move to make it right. This was the first time to try Aubrey's and our last. I don't understand why this place is packed. Maybe it's first timers like us? My wife and her sisters took their mother here for Mother's Day and enjoyed it, so we were in the area and decided to try it. It didn't go well. It was roughly 2:30 on Sunday afternoon, and when we went in, the hostess went to seat us immediately. However, when she got to the area we were to be seated, a server stopped her and she left us in limbo in the middle of the restaurant. After an awkward minute, we went over to the hostess and server to see if something was wrong. We were told no, that she was seating us in a different booth. They put out silverware and menus, but we noticed there had been a person in that booth, and they were moved to the booth we were almost seated in. We realized why very quickly, there was a young child in a high chair right across from our booth doing baby things, screaming, etc (needed a toy or crayons and coloring sheet from the restaurant) and one of the adults very loudly was talking/commenting. Not a pleasant environment to try and enjoy a meal. The restaurant needs partitions to break up all of the sound. We tried to roll with it. The server came took our order, but kept mentioning things that had nothing to do with our meal. I ordered the Hickory Chicken w/broccoli and Parmesan creamed spinach, my wife had the chicken tenders and fries. Unfortunately I received the herb grilled chicken, but rather than wait, I told them that I would keep this. The server was very nice, but couldn't stay focused on what he was doing. Anytime we asked for refills, ketchup, etc, it took more than once to get things right. Bottom line is we were not satisfied with our experience and the food was average, but the prices were above average; although my wife did think their fries were very good. read more

The first time we went was when it first opened and we were not happy but we have been back several times and have enjoyed each time. The fish and chips is really good and the pasta dishes are good. Everything we ate was delicious We had appetizers and dinner for 4. Our waitress excellent. I highly recommend this place. They don't take a reservations but if you call while you're on your way there or maybe an hour or so early you can get on the waiting list. We were able to almost walk right in and sit right down. Great new restaurant! Very clean and welcoming entrance with nice modern decor. We sat up at the bar due to the time of day-the lunch rush. Katie provided us with absolutely excellent service. We have visited this restaurant twice now after anxiously awaiting it's opening in Lebanon. First visit, the server was terrible. She took over ten minutes to take our drink and appetizer order. Another fifteen minutes before delivering drinks. Another ten minutes for the appetizer to be delivered by a second server. AND......no one had yet even taken our order. Server finally returned and took our order. Simple. Fish and chips platter and chicken nugget dinner order. Our food arrived THIRTY MINUTES later and was BARELY warm, was totally overcooked to the point of emitting a foul, burnt odor and the sides (broccoli) were soggy and foul tasting. Brought all of this to the attention of the older woman server and her response was "What do you want me to do about it?" My response was "Not a thing!!!! Give me my bill." I saw the server speaking to the manager and it was obvious by the pointing and looks we were getting that they were talking about us, our orders or whatever. We were obviously their center of attention. The Manager NEVER even approached our table. The server brought me the full bill and without touching our food further, we paid the bill and left. OBVIOUSLY, I did NOT leave any kind of tip. A couple of weeks passed and we thought, okay maybe the first visit was just a bad day as they were quite busy. We returned for a second shot. NOPE!!!!!! Just as bad as the first time. Again, brought the inadequacies to the servers attention. AGAIN, she spoke to the manager and the manager never came to our table. AGAIN, I was presented the bill in its entirety. AGAIN, we paid and left with NO tip left for the server. AND, the city of Lebanon provided over $1M in tax incentives to this sub-par restaurant. Lebanon will never prosper in the food industry if this is the type of businesses we continue to attract!!!!!!! read more

Great atmosphere, good staff, decent service. We've been here a couple of times now. The thick cut potato chips are fantastic. None of us like the buttermilk garlic sauce (the restaurant also uses this as ranch) but the chips are great and always arrive hot and fresh. You can get complimentary bread too but that doesn't seem like it's customary because one visit it was just bright out to the table. The others it wasn't? It's all good though because those chips are a great appetizer! Kids ordered different burgers a couple of times and while the toppings were good, the meat itself was terribly dry. So I wouldn't recommend those. Kale salad had fresh ingredients but was just a salad. The fish n chips entree was good and the sauce was great. The haystack pasta was a family favorite. We wouldn't hesitate trying more dishes here when in the area, but would not make a special trip just to dine here. read more

Food & service was good. I only have one beef: When asked what the cost of beverages (it was not on the menu) she said, "It comes with whatever you order". We were led to believe that meant no charge for drinks. WRONG! When the bill came they had added $3.00 per person to the menu item to cover the $3.00 for iced tea. It was misleading & the way the bill was configured we believed it was done this way intentionally to make customers think they weren't getting charged for a beverage. Probably won't be back because of this. Menu prices were high. I got a Rattlesnake pasta & was charged $21.00 although the menu listed it as $18.00. My boyfriend and I went on a Monday night. It was the first time either of us had been and we were pleasantly surprised by the Monday night special. Any burger and beer for $12! I was very hopeful for this new restaurant in Lebanon. I hoped for a better experience and I am away they are still working out issues of a new restaurant. 1. Beautiful, clean restaurant. Sitted quickly. 2. We only saw our waitress 2 times when she took our order and when she brought us our check. 3. Other servers refilled our drinks and brought us our food. 4. I have been to several Aubrey's locations and this was by far the worst one. The service was horrible, the waitress came by to get our order and bring the food, including one wrong order. Then had to wait an additional 15mins for the right order to be brought out. She never came by to fill drinks or ask how we were doing. The food was very bad. The apples were so mushy it was one step away from applesauce. Then, to end the meal there was glass in the edge of my seat that cut my finger to bits getting blood all over my pants. My husband stopped at Aubrey's one day when I was out to town to determine if it was a place he thought I would like. We went there yesterday and boy was he right. The service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant with tons of personality. The food was wonderful - order the parmesan spinach - you won't be disappointed. All of the employees were smiling and willing to speak with you. Special shout out to our server, Adrienne, who is the sweetest young lady with a kind heart and a friendly smile. She was just precious. I saw groups, couples, and coworkers all meeting and eating. This was my 5th or 6th visit to Aubrey's in Lebanon and the first time I have been disappointed. We went there for dinner on New Year's Eve and the restaurant was not as crowded as I expected so I was shocked when it took us at least 45 minutes to get our food. I ordered the Lemon Lime chicken with Sautéed Mushrooms as my side. When the food finally arrived at our table I had no mushrooms and had to ask for them but the real disappointment was that my chicken and rice were cold as was the plate they were served on. I did not send it back because it had taken so long to get that I just decided to ask for a To-Go box and bring it home to re-heat so that I could enjoy it. My companion ordered the Catfish and fries and his was warmer than mine but still not as hot as I would have expected. Our server was great so I truly believe the issue was in the kitchen so I really hope this can be addressed so that I don't have to find another go-to eatery. read more

Food was good but service was terrible. When we were sitted we had to ask two people before our server appeared. He was rude and seemed irritated to be there. We had to ask for bread Our food was delivered. He finally came back and asked if we needed anything and asked if we were ready for the check. My husbands tea was empty and I had to point out he needed a refill. We were maybe half way through our meal when he brought the tea and the check never asking if we were wanting dessert or allowing us to finish our meal. When he brought the check back for us to sign, he stood there stacking all of our dishes while we were trying to filll out the ticket. If their hostess and server does not improve,they won't make it. read more
