Another DELICIOUS kale salad with PERFECTLY COOKED SALMON!
    Donna S.

I eat here at least once during a visit to Knoxville (ANY location). I always get the filet bites with potato dumplings & kaie salad (with salmon if I'm HUNGRY). Tried the turtle cake tonight. Not a fan. Not NEARLY enough chocolate. :( But I'll be back... don't usually have ROOM for dessert. ;P

KUDOS and thanks to Kaley for deliveringquality supreme customer service as well as being the most caring bartender I have ever met! Today's specials at the Aubrey's was $2.00 off Draft Beer so I chose to drink Stella Artois and my friend got an Yuenling. As a starter we shared the Sausage and Pimento Cheese Dip. It was a smoked sausage Sliced with house made Pimento Cheese Dip and homemade crackers. This was particularly are favorite as the Pimento Dip was the star. As suggested by Kaley we both decided to order the Grilled Salmon Tacos paired with a bowl of Loaded Baked Potato Soup with Bacon and Sour Cream. The Salmon Tacos were mighty tasty topped with Pico de Gallo. The Potato Soup was perfect and very silky to the palette. I highly recommend you all come to Audrey's and take a seat at the bar!

Blah blah blah! Truly don't see the appeal other than atmosphere. The staff is very kind but the food is substandard. Been here multiple times and it's cold every time & lacking flavor. As we were dining the couple beside us had to send theirs back as well. Mediocre at best! Guess it's so busy being one of the only "nice" places to eat in powell.

You know when the parking lot is full and people are parking on the grass to wait for a table you must be at the right place. The food is terrific, the service is great and the ambiance is anything from family friendly to date night. The reuben sandwich was perfect. The chicken tenders are huge. Our server was B.Bennett who was spot on with everything we needed. Definitely a place we will come back to.

Ordered here twice, both online through their website , first time I ordered a burger, taste was fantastic with the exception that the request i made for condiments and bread were left out, really not a big deal but if you have a section for comments and request at least read them and fulfill them. Now for the second order, horrible, burger was smaller than a mcdonalds burger, half my burger cooked other half burnt, did not receive condiments , or anything I requested, tried to call back and received no answer. No way to check the burger without dismantling it when picking up my order. It a shame, love their other locations.

They get busy fast, and they won't seat your party until everyone has arrived, so make sure your whole group is there. We had a party of five and started with an order of the fried pickles to share. They were absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and gone within minutes. For drinks, I ordered the Darryl Strawberry since it featured bourbon, and I figured I had to enjoy a bourbon cocktail while in Tennessee. It was surprisingly refreshing, balanced, and so good that I ordered a second one. For my meal, I went with the Classic Bacon Burger, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It was big, juicy, and loaded with the perfect amount of cheese, tomato, bacon, and pickles. Every bite was delicious. Considering how packed the restaurant was, the service was solid. Our waitress had a great sense of humor and joked around with our table, which made the experience even more fun. Since they were so busy, we didn't see her constantly, but she was friendly and took good care of us whenever she stopped by. If you're looking for a great burger and a fun atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

I really try and not post bad reviews but this is one is needed after our experience last night…read more Please know that we have been to Stock and Barrel many times during our visits to Knoxville and always enjoyed our experience. After last night I'm not sure if we will ever return. We were seated outside at a table that was right in front of the in and out doors. We waited almost 15 minutes before someone came to wait on this. Honestly this would have been longer if my husband hadn't gone in to ask about a server for our table. Mind you, there were plenty of servers walking to help the other tables around us as we were waiting. Finally a server walked up, her name started with an A, and she was very flippant with helping us. I ordered a beer and my husband ordered water and son ordered a soda. We also went on and ordered since we had no idea when she would return for our order. She brought the water and soda but no beer and then we didn't see her (at our table) until our food came out. My beer came out with the food, a good 10 minutes after I ordered it. I know you may be thinking that the bar was backed up but her other table (that arrived after) got their drinks right away and also a 2nd order of drinks before I received my beer. She never came to check on us with our food and spent more time at the table that arrived with her friends. Her attitude and personality was vastly different with our table versus her friend's table. When it came time to get us our check. I saw her roll her eyes and walked towards us. I let it slide instead of calling her out on her actions as I just wanted to leave. We paid our check and left. I truly feel like this will be our last time here because of the service we received. We have many friends who travel to Knoxville for various sporting events (since I'm in that industry) and I always recommend Stock and Barrel. After last night, I'll be recommending some other place.

The Rib-Eye, fair marbled as though fashioned by Providence Himself, arrived with a crust of remarkable savour, whilst its centre remained so tender that scarce was there need of knife or strength to part it. Each bite yielded forth rich juices most abundant, filling the mouth with such delight that one might forget the burdens of both Crown and country. Yet, I should commit a grievous injustice were I to neglect mention of those heavenly rolls. Fresh from the oven, warm as a summer's morn, soft as the finest pillow, they did dissolve upon the tongue with singular grace. When adorned with that most divine cinnamon butter, whipped to a cloud-like perfection--they became nothing short of celestial. Verily, I proclaim that an angel's table could scarce boast a finer accompaniment. Should any traveller, nobleman, or weary soul pass by this establishment and fail to partake of these victuals, he hath willingly forsaken one of life's greatest earthly pleasures. I depart with both belly and spirit thoroughly content, and would gladly journey a hundred miles to dine there once more. Thus do I bestow upon this establishment my highest commendation: Five Crowns of Five, with the earnest prayer that its kitchens may forever prosper.

My burger arrived very rare (unsafe for ground beef), and the "correction" was a charred, overcooked mess. My wife and I spent an evening at the Marlowe and they were very accommodating as our reservation had fallen out of the system (probably due to my own user error) but as I mentioned they found a table for us and made sure we didn't miss our chance to partake in their phenomenal menu. I had the fall fashion which is their take on an old fashioned and it was terrific and the Rye whiskey played nicely with the amaretto. My wife had some sort of Sicilian wine cocktail that was advertised as brighter and better mimosa and they nailed the description. It was an elevated mimosa that was light, refreshing and bubbly. We started with the wedge salad and potato croquettes. The salad was as phenomenal, the bacon adding the right smoky and savory flavor and the dressings paired well with the fresh crisp lettuce. I was slightly disappointed we didn't have heirloom tomatoes as they were advertised and instead used grape / cherry tomatoes (the menu listing mentioned heirloom and I'm a tomato snob). The Gorgonzola wasn't overpowering and paired really well with the balsamic. The potato croquettes needed a little more seasoning or salt and were somewhat bland but the presentation was terrific and they were cooked perfectly. It might have been the bacon aioli but it just needed a little more zip. For mains my wife went with the Bouillabaisse and asked if she could add a bit of the house made fettuccine to which the chef was very accommodating in making the addition. With wonderful seasoning and an abundant amount of shrimp, scallop, salmon and mussels she couldn't finish her serving. This dish was fragrant and cooked to perfection. I had the filet and it was also amazing. Cooked a perfect medium rare and held amazing flavor. It was a solid and good sized filet that was definitely the star the show. The asparagus was grilled perfectly and seasoned wonderfully. The confit beet was amazing and held terrific flavoring and lended to the beautiful presentation and plating. We really wanted to try the crème brûlée as it looked amazing but we didn't save any room. The service was beyond terrific and Anthony took great care of us from start to finish. We watched the Chef oversee the kitchen and he didn't let a single plate pass through that kitchen without his terrific attention to detail. Overall this restaurant stood out heads and shoulders above other restaurants of similar type and it immediately jumps to the top of the list for fine dining in the Knoxville area. I can't wait to recommend this place to friends and family and this is the first time I wish I could give six stars!

SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!
