I had a good experience buying a car at Auburn Toyota. I would rather avoid the entire dealer experience, but Auburn Toyota makes it less painful than most places. They pushed the Toyota connected services pretty hard, but I was able to avoid it. They also insisted on charging an additional $1,250 for a ceramic coating, but I was able to pay that for some paint protection film instead. I would have preferred to save the $1,250, but I wanted the car and I felt there was more value in paint protection film than their ceramic coating. I had an issue with their install of the front plate despite me asking the prior to delivery to leave it off. They made this situation right for me and made sure I was satisfied with the car, even after the deal had closed. They had no legal obligation to do this, it was pure good will on their part. If I ever buy another Toyota, I would certainly consider Auburn Toyota. read more

I put a deposit down on my Venza Limited working with Paul Zuniga who was helpful in securing this hard-to-find car. Jake was amazing when I went to pick-up the car. The change I would have through the entire experience is to have had a call in advance re: the warranties, maintenance options and the vehicle anti-theft recovery system before I the purchase, especially knowing I was traveling far to pick up this car. I get the idea of pressure sales and that it may be likely effective for many, but without researching any of these I was not willing to pay for extra coverages. And, the internet sales team may need to coordinate better as Dakota called me to inquire about my interest after I had already put a deposit on the car I was purchasing. It's extremely rare that I have a 5-star review to leave a dealership, but Auburn Toyota warrants me taking time to write this because of the exceptional experience that I had. In March of 2022, I reached out to over 20 dealers in search of a new GR Supra. I ended up getting in contact with Auburn Toyota (which worked out because they are local to me) and was connected with Demi Demello via email. I inquired about any allocations they may have that are unreserved for a GR Supra and she quickly informed me that they have an incoming GR Supra that has not been reserved. Within 10 minutes, I reserved it and Demi was extremely quick to respond via email. It's incredible how attentive and responsive Demi is. After getting the initial reservation completed with Demi, Adrianne Wisnewski took over as my super awesome sales advisor. From the beginning, she understood what my needs were. She quickly understood that I'm extremely particular, a little obsessive and impatient (within reason). This did not deter her from providing exceptional service. Between the constant updates, the reassurance and her sense of humor, she kept me excited about my purchase and decision to wait for it. Adrianne is the type of person to respond on her day off to make sure her customer is happy (although I would never want someone working on their day off). Faith De Vilbiss also helped me a few times when I called in and she is extremely pleasant to talk to! As the GR Supra was getting close to delivery, I had a few requests for Adrianne. I wanted the vehicle to be delivered to me the way it left it's manufacturing plant and port. I didn't want it washed, I wanted all of the shipping stickers and plastics left on etc. She quickly understood these requests and told everyone involved about them to make sure I was accommodated. The day of delivery was probably the most smooth that I've ever experienced when purchasing a car from any dealership, ever. It was delivered the way I asked, there was no drama and no hiccups. The finance experience was INCREDIBLE. Britt Garcia was my finance expert and goodness - she is an expert. The finance process probably took no longer than 7 minutes. I didn't get hassled for warranties, I wasn't triple asked if I was sure I wanted to decline certain things - I can't believe it. Signature lines were already highlighted - it's actually unbelievable how smooth the operation at Auburn Toyota is. To sum up my long story, the buying experience was nothing short of exceptional. This has left such a long lasting positive experience for me where I actually feel proud to keep a dealer plate frame on my car. I even taped my sales advisor's card on my windshield near my temp registration because I have zero issues recommending Auburn Toyota. They're about 30 miles away from me, but they've treated me SO well, I will return here for service instead of patronizing local dealerships that are taking advantage of people and the current market. Absolutely garbage experience. After bringing my car over the mountain for service, I left a personal item in the rental. Asked them to just drop it in the mail to get it back to me. Business Office said since there was no way to provision that money, so they wouldn't send my item back. So I had to make the two hour each way drive back to the dealership in order to get my item back in my possession.
