I've been a member of a really nice Gold's Gym/EOS for about 8 or 9 years in Vegas and I honestly didn't think I'd find something comparable to that in a small town that I visit once every two years or so, but to say the least, was very impressed with LIFT. LIFT has almost identical equipment that my gym at home has. TRX, cables, super nice racks, various types of medicine/exercise balls and weights. They have a nice selection of machines, too. There are 4 rowers, a handful of ellipticals, treadmills and only one regular stair machine. There are one or two that are like a hybrid of an elliptical and stair machine. There's a group fitness room with stationary and AIR ASSAULT BIKES! That was definitely an awesome discovery for me, as I was sure I was going to miss mine at home. A month by itself was $50 and I could come any time during normal staffed hours. For $10 extra, I could have gotten a 24/7 access pass. My routine while I was here generally coincided with staffed hours, but next summer, I'll opt for 24/7 access because on the weekends, their window of opportunity to come ends at 12 noon. Even though I wasn't there to stay and am obviously not from around there, the staff never questioned me or made it awkward. Above all, I appreciated that the most. I felt comfortable coming in daily and putting in work. In short, I highly recommend this place and am super stoked to have a go-to gym to come back to next summer.

Parking is near the rear loading Dock for The Dollar Store that is actually on Grant. I came in today as a drop in. A Very fair rate. Nice clean gym and my first time in a PF. The Team color is Purple and Yellow. So be ready. The gym is more focused on tread mills and stair steppers and cable machines. Free Weights is a small area at the end of a very large gym. The locker room and shower area is immaculate. As is the gym, really. The free weights will be enough if your dumbbells plan to stop at 75 lbs. There are 4 smith machines and Plenty of benches. No shrug machine or French curl or standing calf raise. No worries, be creative. I met Dawn on the staff desk , she was so nice. Mixed population today, mostly over 50. They are open 24 hours , I plan to be back at 0700 before we leave town. Only in Auburn for a couple nights. Time to stop the travel and relax. Update : Came back this am for a work out. This is a nice gym.

Which is totally out of the control of employees. Doubt anything can get done by writing a complaint. Haven't found anything on the Planet Fitness site (headquarters) to directly express the broken machine issues. May need to call them. Enjoy my daily workouts. Just very frustrating having the machines, I prefer to use, are down for such a long time. Here's hoping things will improve !

The community center is a great place to work out or bring the family for a day of fun. They have a…read morewide variety of group exercise classes and their fitness center is clean and quiet which is nice to get a good work out completed. Everything they have to offer is awesome and a day pass for an individual or family is great price to do multiple activities. From their aquatic center with a competition pool, splash pool for kids, and hot tub and even a water slide to open skate with rentals included. Overall a great time and easy to come and go throughout the day. Grab a bite to eat in the village of Skaneateles or try the community centers new concession stand that's operated by a local favorite, at long last!

Well, story goes, I met a guy at a social outing and he was speaking of his accomplishments and the…read moreamount of fun he had at flow bjj. I stopped in one weekend to check it out for myself (typically not one to go somewhere new like this by myself). After speaking with the coaches and hanging with the guys(rolling) I immediately knew this was a great fit for me. Very knowledgeable coaching and the family vibe I received was more than enough to make me feel comfortable, especially with a close combat sport as this. Soon enough I came to call everyone at flow my brothers and sisters. Never knew how much cardio and technique there was in BJJ. Very fun and can be as demanding as you want it to be, from just regular exercise, to tournaments, and even getting in the ring. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately our assisted living person comes Mon & Thurs, the opposite of Laura's schedule. At a loss, I called her anyway to see if she knew of any other yoga studios that might have class on Monday. She was extremely personable, and understanding, and gave me multiple suggestions. I don't know how else to describe it, but she was so present that it felt like she was sitting in the car next to me. I hope that I get a chance to actually attend one of her classes because I bet she's great. And then I can update my review. :)
