I enjoyed the experience overall. I love my car and that helps a lot. Joe P was a really chill guy and he was no pressure about the whole thing. I went in looking to sit higher than my current car allowed and I wanted a sunroof. Those were my specs. We walked around for around an hour. I chose 2 cars and told him I'd be back. I went and looked and 2 other dealerships on Glenwood and ended up back at auction direct that afternoon. I drove the SUV first and it was ok but I wasn't in love. Joe went and got the car I chose and drove it up to the lot so I could get in and drive I was SOLD as soon as it made the corner. We drove I fell more and more in love but joe didn't really know about the details of the car. There are a lot of bells and whistles that even he was unsure how to control. Financing was a breeze and it didn't take forever. I mean, you're buying a car, it's a process, but sometime you're waiting forever. Keith the finance manager was cool. He worked to get me the lowest rate possible and walked me through the warranty questions I had. There were a lot I might add. I ended up and had to have it serviced because the rear camera was acting up. I decided to wait a bit before doing my review, as I wanted to take some time and enjoy my (new to me) vehicle. PLEASE bear with me, as this one has a bit of a small backstory about how I came to buy a vehicle here. Skip the first paragraph if you'd like. So, picture this: I have been looking for a vehicle for the past few months, did some online searching to find one that both fit my budget AND would be able to handle my day-to-day errands and then some. When I went to a regular dealership after finding one that was seemingly perfect, imagine my surprise when they did not have the vehicle I inquired after there for viewing, but conveniently had 2 others: one older with oil spray in the engine and the second one newer with a huge amount of mileage. One vehicle still had trash in the boot and I got the distinct feeling that my questions pertaining to the vehicles were bothersome. Needless to say, I did NOT get a vehicle there. Here's the start of my actual review, if you want to get down to the meat and potatoes. My little brother called me and told me about Auction Direct, a dealership who he had had excellent service with when he bought his Jetta, and I decided to bite the bullet and see what they could do for me. Boy, am I glad I went here. I walked in with a pre-approval note in hand and not only did Khalil Ghanayem and his coworkers find another loan quote with better interest, he got me approved for a much newer vehicle than I thought I could get in the process. He actively listened to my concerns and needs in a vehicle, and came up with a 2017 Ford Fiesta Hatchback that he thought would fit the bill perfectly. I drove off in a peppy little thing that quickly gained my admiration in how fuel efficient it is. It has been a little over one week since I got the vehicle, and I am still over the moon with it. (When you fill up from less than a quarter tank for 23 bucks and you had been going all over the place with the initial tank of fuel, you tend to be quite happy!) Bait and switch times 2. Looking for a Forester with Eyesight package. first time got call from salesman knowing I was looking for one that they had one. Went all the way up and it turns out it did not have blind spot monitor and then was told they can get a secondary site to install it and would "only "charge me 700 bucks. 2nd was more recent which had Forester listed as Eyesight package which contains blind spot monitor. I bought a car here in Nov 2018. The experience with this company seemed really unorganized and I spent way too many hours there for someone who arrived with a particular car and financing upon walking in the door. I watched people walk in and out who were also purchasing and they arrived after me. However the price was good and so I dealt with it. I returned on 1/26/19 to get another car for my teenager. I had an appointment at 12:45, and left out of the dealership at 1:30pm . I was greeted by a salesperson and she said she would see me soon.. I assume "soon" means tomorrow. I left went to CarMax and purchased a car and out within an hour. read more

On our visit to Auction Direct, we wanted a Toyota or Scion hatchback so we were told a 2009 Toyota Matrix would be arriving in a few days. According to the sales associate, the car would undergo a detailed inspection for any flaws, defects, or malfunctions before we could purchase it. We did eventually buy the car, but soon after we regretted our decision -- so much so, that we decided to sell the car less than a year later. The most appealing quality about Auction Direct is their hassle-free, no haggling approach to the car buying experience. Yep, that's right -- we were politely acknowledged but not badgered while browsing the available vehicles on the lot. However, there are plenty of negative aspects of my experience with Auction Direct that counteract any initial positive impressions. First of all, when you purchase a vehicle, the sales associate will pitch their extended warranty, because Auction Direct is only liable for any potential problems with the vehicle for only "three days or 500 miles." We opted to not purchase their extended, yet also limited warranty; however, the associate explained that every car sold through Auction Direct is subjected to a thorough, detailed inspection -- what they refer to as their "85 point check" -- so, we foolishly trusted that Auction Direct was selling us a car of high quality. Unfortunately, this was not the case. During those first 30 days we were in and out of auto service centers, which means we acquired one heck of a chore responsible for draining even more money out of our pocket. We had to replace the battery, all four tires, the passenger seat lock, the right headlight, the universal joint, various suspension parts, and an array of so-called minor repairs that compounded into a stressful mess. Two specific moments highlight Auction Direct's failure to meet quality expectations and to offer consistent, adequate product service and support. First, the same day we purchased the car, the tire pressure lights turned on. I checked the tires and adjusted the tire pressure accordingly. Immediately the light turned off, though, only until the following day. Because we were still in our "three day or 500 miles" window, we took the car to Auction Direct. Several hours later, they replaced the tire pressure light sensors, assuming those components were working incorrectly. Unfortunately, however, this did not fix the issue. I called Auction Direct to inquire whether I could still bring the car to their service center even though it was now day 4 of owning the car. I could, I was told; however, I would be responsible for any charges. Instead, I brought the car to the neighborhood auto shop where -- in less than 30 minutes -- the mechanic determined the issue was NOT the light sensors but the tires, themselves. The interior of all four tires were in terrible condition; in fact, one of them had a 3 inch nail embedded internally... which could explain why the tire pressure sensor continued to register a problem. But, ya know, Auction Direct's first reaction was to replace all of the tire pressure sensors and not thoroughly examine each tire. Secondly, we were never alerted that Auction Direct received our new license plate until after our 30 day tag expired. In addition, when we arrived to have the tag placed on the vehicle, the sales associate had terrible difficulty. Thirty minutes later, the license plate was still not mounted on our car, and we were informed that Auction Direct would need to order the correct sized screws to do so. Imagine that -- a car dealership did not have the correct hardware to install a license plate. Annoyed, we took the license plate and left. These particular situations are only two examples of the unnecessarily complicated, inefficient, and troublesome process of purchasing a vehicle from Auction Direct. As a result, I definitely recommend supporting reputable local used auto dealers or going to the CarMax down the road instead. read more

They worked with me on the financing, and I'll give them credit for that. But they sold me a rusty lemon, and they knew they were selling me a rusty lemon. I had to put a new drive shaft in two months after I bought it. Luckily, that was covered under the manufacturer's factory warranty, so it cost me nothing, but there's enough rust that I'll continue to have issues with it. In hindsight, I should have asked them to put it up on the lift before I bought it, but oh well. They ship a lot of cars down here from up north (where salt and water are on the roads for several months out of the year), so if you are entertaining the idea of buying a car from them, check the carfax to see where the car has spent its life before it arrived here, and demand that they put it on the lift so you can check underneath for rust. Bottom line, they're a used car dealership. Integrity does not abound here. Edit: Changed from two stars to one because of customer service. They'll tell you the service department "will call you when the part you need comes in, shouldn't be more than two or three days." What they really mean is you won't hear anything from them for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, and when you finally call them to see what the deal is, the dude at the desk isn't really sure what's going on, but the manager will call you back within the hour. It takes two or three calls like this to actually get an appointment. This happened twice. Also, don't expect a phone call if there's any paperwork issues. Expect terse, pissy emails THREE MONTHS LATER. read more

In my car quest, Auction Direct was dealership #3 that I visited. It was a couple of my mechanics who actually suggested that I check them out, so I did. I stopped by on the evening of Saturday, January 22, 2011. Being that I'd already felt abused (from Capital Ford) and jipped on a previous appraisal (Carmax) I was very guarded upon my entry when they asked for my name and contact information. I gave them some, but refused to give them much. This dealership is set up more like an office with a front desk, greeter, and place to "check in" rather than having a line of car salesman waiting to suck your blood on the front lines. Sam Boktor came to the front desk to assist me. He calmly explained the procedure at Auction Direct despite the fact that I was on my guard. Apparently, like Carmax, they do not work on commission and he would tailor my visit to exactly what I was looking for. They didn't have much in the parameters of what I wanted though. Sam was a really nice guy. I was actually somewhat glad I got paired with him because the other sales associates looked like real greasers with their slicked back Donald Trump hairstyles. He was an easygoing sales associate who had transferred south from working at the Buffalo location. Apparently Auction Direct was started in NY and now has a location in NC and Florida. I felt like he was listening to me, but definitely didn't have much to work with. I test drove a manual Escape and small Kia. The Escape's timing belt needed to be tightened and the Kia was just for fun. They offered me the same for my Explorer as Capital Ford. I left disappointed, but not too despairingly discouraged. Hopefully they'll get more inventory as it warms up because they're in a great location and I really liked Sam. read more

My wife and I were recently in the market for a new car and stopped at Auction Direct on a whim. We had gone to CarMax and gotten a quote on selling our SUV and decided to see what Auction Direct would offer. They offered $1,500 more than CarMax! Not only that, they had the car we wanted on the lot and it was in excellent condition with really low miles. The salesman at Auction Direct was very friendly and did not pressure us to buy or sell with them at all. The manager allowed us to take the car we wanted on an extended test drive which helped seal the deal. We also used their lender and got an excellent interest rate - lower than what I was expecting. While we had purchased a car from CarMax before and were leery of trying a new dealership, I am very glad we gave Auction Direct a shot. We ended up with a great car, great loan, and got a really great offer on our trade-in. Even if we hadn't purchased from them, they would have bought our car for the same price they offered (their offer is good for three days). We will definitely visit them again the next time we're in the market for a car. Highly recommend. read more

If my review was based on sales alone, it would be exceptional. Eric Liles and Vic the finance guy did a wonderful job getting me into the car I wanted. No pressure, no baiting and switching, and no "I have to ask the manager" games. It was wonderful, and backed by a 1,000 mile/100 day warranty in which I could bring the car back in case something went wrong or I wanted to switch it out, no questions asked. I did bring the car back in within these parameters because of a rough ride. (downhill from here) The service department was accommodating, and even provided a loaner while they balanced the tires and I had a Bluetooth mirror installed (well worth the $105, even though I was told $75, then $95, and finally $105). Sadly when I got the car back, it still rode about as rough as when I left it there. Any perceived improvement was merely the placebo effect of having it at their shop. So I took it to Discount Tires on Six Forks (highly recommend these fellows) for a balance. The tires were indeed out of balance when I brought them to Discount Tire, and they balanced them. Again the ride was rough. So I brought the car to Apex Tuning to have the 60,000 mile service done (it had supposedly been done before I bought the car, but it wasn't) and the 70,000 services that weren't included in the 60,000 (I'm very particular about how my car is maintained). One of the services completed was a rotation of the tires, and even this only moderately improved the ride of my car. I went to Exxon at North Hills to have an alignment done, and was told that it was only slightly out of alignment and that the problem was with my tires. They were cheap and not true, but were safe to drive. This was the diagnosis that I clung to, it made sense to me, and I continued to drive on the off brand tires supplied with the car by Auction Direct until I could afford a new set of decent tires (just last week...bought the car six months ago). Upon buying a very nice set of Michelin tires from Discount Tires, I felt some more improvement, but not the smoothness one would expect. So I swapped out to new rims as well. They weren't expensive, replaced the scuffed up ones the car came with (which turn out weren't the right size for my model of Eos), and I figured it would fix the problem. Nope. I called Auction Direct about using my extended warranty, which they were happy to sell me, to have my car serviced there. I was told it would be at least two weeks before they could get me in, and that if the issue was not something covered by the extended warranty that I may be charged a diagnostic fee and was told (almost snidely) that perhaps I could be more quickly served by another dealership. I understand that this was fully within their rights, as I had exceeded the 1,000 mile warranty (by 9,000 miles at this point), but I felt that had they done their duty of care to satisfy the problem in the first place it would have been resolved within the first 1,000 miles. As a result of me going to other shops and not persisting about the initial issue with them, I waived that option. Again, I understand that, but I figured it was something as simple as cheap tires or a poor alignment on a car I thought I received a good deal on, and that is why I didn't push the issue. So, long story short: Do not hesitate to purchase from this dealership. The sales experience is second to none, the selection is decent, and they are willing to work for your business to make sure you are satisfied. That said, be sure to be assertive and firm with service, as with any dealership. Bring a mechanic along, there are some on Craigslist who offer to go car shopping with people, or bring the car you would like to purchase to your personal mechanic if possible. Their service department is why I give the whole dealership an average rating. Not that they did anything wrong, below grade, or nasty, but they certainly failed to uphold the glorious picture painted by the sales experience, and I am now looking at spending who knows how much just to have a smooth ride that should have been fixed 9,000 miles ago - or had just been from the beginning. So far I've sunk around $2,000 into making the car what it should have been (new key, 60,000 mile service that should have been done, alignment, balance, new tires). Here's hoping it is either cheap and easy, or covered by that extended warranty I thought was a great idea to purchase. Good luck and best wishes read more

I did my YELP review at night and had complete hesitation and anxiety trying to fall asleep. All I could stand to lose was giving it a shot and walking away if it wasn't meeting my standards. My experience was horrible and distasteful! I called and was transferred to Judah which he sounded like he was working from home with a bunch of kids in the background. I ignored the noise! I said hello, your name again he said Judah, "I said my name such and such I'm calling about my application status." He says how may I help you, I said a second time, "I'm calling about my application status" now I become frustrated because I said twice what my call was in reference to. I then say to Judah are you in the office or you're working from home he says in the office. I said okay I filled out an application and never heard anything back from no one. He says, "let me take a look and then asked me was I putting a down payment." I was then a little concerned I said I'm sorry but I provided all that info already this is my second phone call I will provide the info again but what happened to the info I provided on Thursday. He said you called me! OH REALLY! First of all you need to take a customer service and proper etiquette class because yes I did but you will not handle me like that! He said you didn't speak to me! It shouldn't matter if I spoke to Joe or Karen that information should be in the system. He said I will provide my finance manager with your information and you will hear back from him or me. I knew it was "BS" I haven't heard back from no one. I wouldn't recommend to no one due to the lack of follow up and dealing with someone or a company who doesn't take people's personal private information serious. read more

I was very impressed with the Auction Direct on my car buying experience. I loved how you can look up exactly what you want without being forced into something like regular dealerships. I never felt rushed the manager always came out and checked on me to make sure I was satisfied with the salesman etc. I have never seen that before! Careful dealing with these guys. There was a car listed on their website for a decent price, clean Carfax the whole nine yards. So I headed over there and met with a decent sales person, test drove the car, all looked well and I was actually ready to buy it. A few minor cosmetic issues but nothing too serious. The drama started when returning from test drive. Keep in mind the sales person had to retrieve the car from the service department which he did, and when I returned I was sitting in the car looking it over for a good 15-20 minutes. All good right? Nope, the salesman came out and deeply apologizes telling me Oh the NY store called and put the car on hold we're transferring it there. I explained I'm here now and have my checkbook. Also the car was on their website as of 2PM today yet they claimed this happened first thing in the morning per the "manager." Seems like a classic bait and switch attempt. I held my tongue and left. Caveat Emptor when dealing with car dealers. There are good ones out there but many others deserve the slimy reputations they have for good reason. Oh well, time for another shower. read more

Fortunately, I am not the victim of this piece of crap place but my close friend who has given them numerous businesses in the past and when she inquired about her extended warranty refund due to her car being stolen and totaled, MANAGER told my elderly friend that insurance company compensated her for warranty as well as gap insurance. That is most absurd excuse I've heard not wanting to do the work to give money back to the customer which she already paid not to mention my friend didn't even asked to get them but got added without her consent! It was a great purchasing experience with auction direct USA and my sales representative Paul. When I first enter their office in Raleigh, I can actually feel the differences between ADU and the other smaller dealers I've also visited in person: they look more formal and professional. All sales persons are in uniforms with a fact book. They firstly introduce their process and how they distinguish from other dealers. Then Paul, my sales representative, led me to the parking slot where they park their inventories. They actually shows the KBB price in every vehicle-this is actually the reason that I choose ADU as they have reasonable prices. And they provide reports for mechanic tracks beside the carfax report. I can easily make my decision after the trial driving as I felt that both Paul and the dealer are trust worthy. read more

Loved my experience here. Little did I,know when I went to,look on Veterans Day (I'm a veteran) that I would be going home with a car that night and with someone with credit issues I loved that! I didn't feel belittled because of it everyone there treated me great and even got me financed with a bank I never thought I could be financed through and I left with my 2013 Nissan Rogue that night. Good overall, bought two cars from them (Victor, NY location), both are in very good condition for the year and mileage. Cars were clean and fully detailed, and they corrected couple of small issues. No pressure sales team, very relaxing and no stress experience compared to many other dealers, new and used. Good choices of banks, they work with you obtaining a good interest rate loan. They also take credit cards for down-payment. Couple of nuisances: They charge documentation fee (was $99) that is not disclosed prior to purchase, it appears as a line item in the sales contract and sales guys don't explain this charge. They sell extended warranty for a reasonable price and we bought it, but somehow our phone numbers also ended up at the hands of extended warranty peddlers and we got inundated by warranty sales cold calls. The second car's oil filter was screwed on stripping the threads and I had to take car to a mechanic. Auction Direct services cars prior to sale so I assume that's their fault. read more

Do not put a deposit down for them to hold a car because even though they say you will get the money back if you do not buy the car they are lying. It's a tactic to get you throw money down on car they just got in. Here is the truth about auction direct. They sell cars that have clean titles, damage reports, etc..but the no one else wants these cars. No one else wants these cars because: 1. They were leases that are in too bad of shape and the dealership cannot sell them as used. 2. They are factory overloads that major manufactures sell for nothing. Base model cars that dealership never sell. 3. They are trades in...but I doubt they get many of them and if they do they are from desperate people I am not sure why I EVER even considered looking at this place but I guess I was tired of searching. I found a car that looked good online but when I got to the lot it was in a horrible condition internally. They tried to tell me that they could clean it up an repair the damage. I guess they deal with people who eat bullshit for breakfast and take it up the you know what for dinner. No way, no thanks and no you will not get my business...ever. I am still waiting on my deposit money back. Let's see if I get it. If not I will follow up with individuals name in accounting and sales that I dealt with. read more

I can't say much about this dealership because I never actually set foot there. I called about a particular car. Made appointment and confirmed that I would go test drive at a specific time. I explained that I had two children with me and I needed to make sure that the car would actually be there when my appointment was. I was put on hold for a few minutes and when they came back they assured me the car would be ready for test drive. I drove the 25-30 minutes to get to the dealership and literally right as I'm exiting I get a call wanting to see what car I'm interested in, etc. I tell them and I'm told that it's being inspected and isn't ready for test driving and won't be for a while. I was pretty pissed off since this is exactly what I was trying to avoid by being very explicit in my conversation with the person that set the appointment. Nope. Never looked at the car. I told the person to call I was super unhappy. I was transferred to some boss guy who was really apologetic and offered to show me other cars (no bait & switch, thank you very much) and offered to hold the car. No thank you, I'll never drive 25-30 minutes to the dealership again. The only reason I'm not giving one star is because whoever I spoke to was sincerely apologetic and offered to hold the car for me. I went and bought the same car elsewhere the next day. Our salesman who was an older man in his 50's 60's, and he was not very nice, he was extremely pushy about making us buy a vehicle that day. He was a typical used car salesman without any personality. Both my husband and I would never go back to this dealership. Not happy at all with how things went today. Was in contact with Andre this am about a certain car. The car could not be test driven because it had not been looked at yet. According to the website there were Fiats in house. Andre called and said yes they were there and he was trying to get up with service manager to see if we could test drive the one needing to be looked at. He never called back. We went in anyway, as we had driven 2 hours to look at cars. Met with Mo who said one was needing to be looked out, which I knew one had been sold a few hours prior (keep in mind I was in contact with Andre and nothing had been said about this). And the last one that the website showed in stock wasn't there, it had not been delivered! Again remember I had been in contact with Andre. My question if all of this was true why wasn't I told and I would not have driven 2 hrs and I had explained that prior to me leaving home. I believe I was lied to and deceived and the sales staff was hoping for a bait and switch! I this whole experience has left me angry and ticked that I could have spent my Sat closer to home looking for a car, instead of trusting Andre to A. Tell the truth. I went to auction direct in December 2015 with hopes of getting a Chevrolet Cruze. When I got to the dealership, my salesman showed me some vehicles that were in my range but I did not like any of the cars. He told me that I can look online to see what's available at the other locations which are located in New York and Florida. I saw a Chevrolet Cruze that was in my range & my salesman approved me for this vehicle. The car was located in New York and my salesman told me that I had to pay a transfer fee to have the car transferred to me in North Carolina. I paid my nonrefundable transfer fee and he told me that my car will be here within a few days. Two days later I text him to check the status of the vehicle & he tells me that they sold the car in New York and that I had to buy something off lot NC. Mind you there wasn't any cars on the lot in North Carolina that I wanted. This was a true scam and I was so disappointed and hurt. How could you let a hardworking customer (and college student at the time) pay a transfer fee for a vehicle that was already sold? I didn't even receive an apology for this situation. Never again will I buy a car from auction direct!!! & I am now super cautious when doing business with anyone! Also you may be wondering why am I just now doing a review on something that happened over two years ago. The reason behind this is I actually found out that my salesman is a true scammer. Apparently he was selling people sick Yorkies for $800. Just hearing about this story I know he's a scammer because not only did he scam me into buying a car that I did not want, he is also scamming people into buying a sick dogs. Worst place to by a car my experience was long and terrible. I purchased a used car in great condition, but ended up having to pay in 1500.00 in repairs to the engine. The sales man never wanted to help or assist. I tried calling but the front desk kept putting me on hold. I guess as soon as they get your money they are done with you. I paid for a 20,00.00 car all up front too. I would never deal with these guys or suggest anyone to go there. Seems like once buy something it's your problem. I went to Auction Direct because I found a car online that they had that I really loved! Sometimes you see it online, then see it in person and you wonder if its even the same car!! I was so excited to see the car in person and see that it even exceeded my expectations!! Driving from Greensboro, I was concerned going to Raleigh just to look at a car!! I had been talking with Dwayne who was super nice right from the beginning without feeling any pressure. So I go to Auctions Direct, first thing I'm greeted by Gary the sales manager with a smile and was super friendly and inviting!! Dwayne next came up and we test drove the car. Again...MORE than I could have expected...LOVED the car and the experience was fantastic! They both truly came across that they wanted me to be happy, not just trying to put me in a car! After going in to start the purchasing process, honestly was waiting for some pushy sales pitch based on past experience. Nothing like that!! They did explain what they had to offer for additional warranties but with no obligation and not only had my payment options for me but also got me an incredible finance rate!! Truly blown away! Have never been treated in such a positive way! The experience top to bottom was fantastic!! So surprised to see so many negative reviews on YELP. Please trust me when I say, I've been through dealerships, Carmax, etc..in the past and have never had any experience to come close to this one! Plus I was in and out in just a little over 2 hours on a BUSY Saturday afternoon! They made the process easy for me!! Gary the sales manager was so excited he found a great finance rate...he truly shopped around to get the best rate! Dwayne was very laid back and helped me feel comfortable! Can't say enough about these two! Will definitely be back and refer family and friends to them!! BTW...the extended warranty was one of the best I've ever seen! In April 2012 I bought a used Nissan Titan from Auction Direct. The truck itself was priced fairly; perhaps too much so. A few days after I bought it I began to notice things..............you know, those kinds of things you notice ONLY a few days later: strange scratches, weird tire wear, and a front end alignment that goes east and west. Only then I did specific belated research on the vehicle. The truck had been in a major accident. Major meaning that an airbag had deployed/ I am an expert on these things now because every time I try and trade the truck in to another dealership they place me in a difficult position from which I am unlikely to escape. See lowball offer. Auction Direct did offer to buy the truck back for2, 000 less than I paid for it and stated that while they did not disclose that the truck was in an accident the Car Fax was available nevertheless. Service department is a bunch of scheisters. Either they dont understand or just plain lie about NYS Inspections to try and soak people out of money by charging for unnecessary work to pass the inspection. Even when shown the NYS DMV Inspection rules directly from the NYSDMV website, they refused to pass the vehicle. This place will never again get a dime of our money, and I will never recommend them for anything to anyone. read more

So after I bought my car I've started to notice a ton of small thing that you see during the day then during the night. The trim was practically falling off. The windshield was cracked. And the headlights pointed straight down. I took my car back the next day to be told that the managers are gone for the night and that I would have to come back tomorrow. I come back tomorrow and get told that there's no service manager. I asked to speak with a real manager of the whole place and then get told they're gone for the day too. So okay whatever. I come back on Monday after I bought my car to finally be told that they can't take it until the next Wednesday morning. The only time they have available is 8am and I asked if I could just drop it off the night prior but they don't want to work with you. You work with them and what they say is set in stone. Fine. I have my rental and it's fine. I didn't get to drive my actual car for a FULL MONTH. My car took a month for a headlight, trim, and a crack in the windshield. And instead of adjusting the headlights they just replaced them with new ones and STILL nothing was adjusted. I brought in to have it done but whatever. I google how to do it and all it required was me using a philips head and adjusting it. I was fully capable of doing all of this myself but it's a car with a warranty that they couldn't even easily get done. Buying a car was easy. Their service department is where they lack. The only person there who I actually didn't mind delivering me bad news was Stacy. She was keeping me as best updates as she could and she broke bad news a lot nicer than their service manager. read more

Best car buying experience I have had. I live in Atlanta and found a scarce low-mileage Mercedes E350 at the Raleigh dealership. After checking the Carfax provided by the sales associate, Bruce Strickland, and getting his opinion on the condition of the car, I hesitantly put a refundable deposit on the vehicle and flew to Raleigh for delivery. The price was very close to the Edmunds.com True Market Value retail and one or two thousand less than other dealers I had shopped with. The reviews from other customers on the web were very positive so I took a chance. It paid off. The car was even better than described. Bruce was a pro and a pleasure to do business with. So, I bought a car with auction direct and love it. Even though it required maintenance within the first month and a half of ownership. I was however very disappointed when I had a problem with the paperwork that was given to me at the time of purchase and when I contacted them to get it fixed, was told that there was nothing they could do. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. So I'd rate them a 5 on the customer service up at the front. Now the reason I give them a 1, is because they tried selling us a car that was in a flooded area! Super shady. I bought a car from them a year and a half ago and was told it came with new tires. Fast forward to today when my mechanic told me that was a lie and my tires are almost tread bare. When I called to ask about it, I was transferred to multiple voicemails before I actually got to speak to someone. When I told him my issue, he told me that was incorrect and when I told him they lied to me, he hung up on me. I was I would have caught his name so I could report him to the manager. Not that it would have made a difference. Horrible customer service. If you want to be treated better, go to CarMax. read more
