If you skim the reviews here you will find them mostly love (5 stars) or hate (1 star). Ours is one of love!! While I find the range of experiences curious all I can say is OUR experience was totally professional and painless from beginning to end. It started with a search and initial contact through CarGurus. We live 200 miles from the dealership, which meant inherent challenges. First contact was Heather, several polite and professional emails, responding to my initial questions (all-important, by the way; many lose me at that stage) and with pictures. Heather had some days off, so her team member, Shelley Brunson picked things up, mostly by email, and questions became more involved. I know dealerships prefer you finance through them, but it certainly sped my process and purchase along to have that part handled beforehand. As there is no direct flights to Boise from where we live, we took a bus...and Shelley arranged for their shuttle to pick us up. Lou, the driver, was very courteous and friendly. I had asked previously about negotiating on price and was promptly told they do not engage in that process, something of a relief to me...as I always hated the back and forth haggling. They priced my car, at least, right from the start, which eliminates the need for haggling. I felt we got a very good price and deal on this low mileage, super sharp and clean 2011 Cadillac. They assisted further due to the fact we were coming in from another area (those details likely to vary with individuals and distance). Shelley was fantastic, not a speck of pressure even on the gentle nudge toward an extended warranty, which I declined. While we have now only owned the car 3 days, it may be premature to fully realize any pros or cons with the vehicle itself. We are not expecting anything negative. In short, we LOVE the car!! But the whole experience from Heather to Shelley to Lou and even to "the mean guy on the end" (sorry, neglected to get his name, but he WASN'T mean, that was our little joke...he, too, was SUPER classy and professional as we waded through the paperwork) was enough to restore my faith in dealing with car dealerships again. My experiences with other dealerships NOT the most pleasant in years past, and I TRIED to always buy from private parties. Based on OUR experience, I couldn't recommend these folks more highly. And if OUR car is any indication, you may just find a superior used vehicle, VWs or other than VWs. Lou's shuttle vehicle is a VW and was a superior ride. I would look at VWs if I wasn't married to Caddys. The other 5-star-ers here had experiences similar to our own so I would certainly give them weight in your giving Boise Audi-Volkswagon a chance. In ANY business it is challenging to be perfect all of the time. I have no doubt should you have an issue they will strive to resolve it. Wanted to contribute my experiences here with both the initial purchase and the subsequent service. First the purchase. I would only give it a 3.5 star rating. The salesman didnt know much about the car (it was a used car but still one that they also have new on the lot) and the process took much longer than any car purchase in the past. At one point when we had already been going through paperwork for about an hour and a half we inquired as to how much longer it might take, we were told "about 30 more minutes", unfortunately that not was accurate and we were there another hour and a half. The sales guy kept getting up and walking off just leaving us to sit. Also some things that the salesman told us would be taken care of when the vehicle was brought in for service turned out to be incorrect and the service department told me that should have been done when the vehicle was purchased. BIG POSITIVE for the purchase, their initial offer was more than fair for my trade-in vehicle, and the sale price for the purchased vehicle was also great. One reason the long time seemed odd was because there was next to no negotiations back and forth taking up time. Next the service department. Absolutely 5 stars. They went above and beyond to correct all of the erroneous things I was told by the salesman even though the purchase had been many months prior to bringing the car back for service. Every single person that I have talked with in the service department has been great and helpful. And a free loaner car while my car was in was in for the day was awesome. read more

I was extremely pleased with this dealership. I just bought a used vehicle there on 10/24/15. I had been searching online for this model in different markets; Montana, Idaho, and Salt Lake to try and find the best price. This dealership had a great price on my vehicle. I called them up and worked with a salesman (James) who was very helpful and upfront. No BS. I sent him pictures and description of my trade-in and he sent me a quote back the same day. I live in Montana so I had to make a 7 hour drive down there that weekend to buy. I was worried they might change the trade-in quote but they didn't. They gave me what they quoted me. Best of all, they got great financing for me. Better than I could find anywhere. And when the quote came back the rate was lower than we had talked about. If they had wanted to they could have taken advantage of me and given me a higher rate and I wouldn't have known. But they didn't, they gave me a lower rate. That was huge. The sales manager was great. I was in and out very quickly. I have bought alot of cars in my day and this is by far the best dealership experience I have ever had. I would definately recommend them. It is good to know there are dealerships out there that operate with this kind of integrity. read more

We absolutely love the used Toyota Camry we bought from Boise VW. Chris Scharf was very professional, helping us from beginning to end of our experience choosing a car that best meets our needs. Like many people, we weren't looking forward to dealing with any car salesman. But from the moment we drove onto the VW customer parking lot, we were put at ease. Chris asked if he could help, and showed us some great cars. We test drove a couple cars, but even though they were awesome autos, we decided we needed to take our time and think before making a decision. Chris kept in touch while I did some research. He wasn't pushy, but did his best to help us find the quality car for our price point. I returned a few days later and Chris showed me a Toyota that had very low miles and looked brand new. I was happy to be able to test drive the car and even drove downtown to my husband's office so he could take a look. We continued to take our time, so we could make a wise decision and finally made an appointment with Chris for one last test drive. Chris continued to be with us every step of the purchasing process. We had an overall good experience. The sales person was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time during our initial visit and test drive to explain everything - we didn't feel rushed or pressured at all during that. He was good about saying "I don't know" for details he didn't have and then willing to do the footwork to get us more information and get back to us with answers. When we returned for a second look, we were again given plenty of time to drive the vehicle and consider our decision. Once we ok'ed the order for the vehicle, we had good response from the sales person when we checked in about updates on the vehicle. When we actually came in to pick up the vehicle and complete the purchase, the process was a bit less satisfactory. It took over 2 hours and there was some of the usual "sales pitch" stuff that we had hoped to avoid: we felt a bit pressured to considered leasing instead of buying outright and were also give a pitch on switching to their car insurance. Overall, though, we have been satisfied with everything and had a good experience with the dealership. We look forward to continuing to work with them. read more

I have updated my evaluation of Boise Volkswagon Audi as they are a TIP NOTCH Dealership!! With the purchase of now My Jeep Wrangler that was used a couple of things the previous owner neglected to give with the Jeep when they sold it, traded it or whatever they did, the missing items were Key FOB, FLOOR MATS, and more importantly the OWNERS MANUAL! Key FOB I can get no problem, same with the floor mats, now the owners manual on the other hand is a little more difficult! So I called Boise Volkswagon Audi explained the issue and they Are getting a replacement for me!! Now that is what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I HIGHLY, and without hesitation very much RECOMEND this dealership to all and anyone in need of a NEW or USED vehicle!! If anything everyone at the very least owes it to themselves to at least check them out!! Also this was by far the FASTEST, NO PAIN, NO HASSLE EASIEST vehicle purchase I have ever experienced!!! Buying a car can be a daunting experience; not so with Audi Boise. I went into the dealership and met Tom Bicandi, a sales representative, not, I repeat not a car salesman (big difference). He showed me the car I was interested in, provided all options for purchase, lease, etc. and generally made the initial experience quite pleasant - no pressure at all. They did not have the exact car I wanted, but the next day called me and said it had come in. Living 3 hours from Boise, I drove down early the next morning hoping to be able to close on the car. When I arrived, it was ready, Tom met me at the entrance, and within an hour I was on my way back home. All terms were exactly as described, the paperwork was expertly completed by the staff and the total experience was wonderful (I had purchased another new car from another dealer about 6 months ago in Boise and it was a grueling experience - the exact opposite of dealing with VW Boise. ) I would recommend anyone wanting a car to go out of their way to use VW/Audi of Boise. read more

I was determined to find the SUV my wife and I wanted. We narrowed in on the Audi Q5 series and from there it was how would we like to equip the vehicle and where would we be serviced best in earning a great deal. Our interactions with Nathan Lloyd were exceptional. He was patient to endure my need to research just about everything. Because he personally has his own SQ5, his insights were most helpful in refining our ultimate selections on this one vehicle. In the end, I felt loyalty to buying from him and Boise Audi if they could be transparent and competitive with the very best deals I could find anywhere. Gone are the days of high stress car haggling and debate - at least at this Audi dealership. They list the Best Price right on the dash and cut to the chase to make the best use of your time and theirs. They know Audi is a great product and they stand behind it solid. My wife and I recently bought a pre owned Acura RDX from Audi Boise. Flew into the Boise airport from Las Vegas. I was met by the salesperson who handled the transaction from start to finish, Peter Pieroni. Arriving at the dealership, Peter immediately showed me my Golf R. It was detailed and ready to go. When I walked into the dealership, it immediately felt very homey. Everybody I met was friendly, very polite and professional. The transaction went smoothly, and all the paperwork was completed in less than an hour. Then Peter and I went out into my vehicle where he spent all the time I needed in teaching me how to operate the technology and electronics in the vehicle. Excellent transaction on a Audi A3 with Ivan Suquet despite the 2700 miles separating us. I saw the car I wanted on the Boise Audi website and the deal was good enough for me to decide to purchase and transport the A3 to Anchorage, Alaska. I appreciate the willingness to make the deal happen and to accomplish the paperwork thru email and UPS for the signatures required. I realize it's not as easy as having a customer walk in and get everything done in person, so I'm grateful for the extra work and attention.
