They couldn't do it at Audi Rocklin when I took my car in. I called in and they asked for DL and registration. I send it in, they didn't acknowledge receipt , and same rep keeps emailing me and asking for it. Even threatened to close case which I responded to to no avail. They are trying to make money off subscriptions but won't give you access without this ridiculous hassle. Makes no sense at all. read more

For instance, the same (no test drive allowed) issue apparently happened to Greg M. on Jun 19 2023. To me, with such similar incidents, proves something "funky" at Rocklin Audi over the long run. TLDR; Good luck selling cars without offering test-drives... Michael, my arrogant would-be salesman, would not let me test-drive the vehicle I came to purchase unless I promised to purchase said vehicle absent price adjustments prior to test-drive. I was shocked. The Kajones on these people! His demeanor matched his statements that helping me was "wasting his time," and chose to let me leave (thereby wasting my time) rather than letting me test-drive - for what amounts to his own reasoning. He repeatedly reiterated that I did not quality for the used EV tax credit because it had an income limit of $75k. I checked with the dealer to confirm this, but they never responded (!) I then confirmed myself a "head of household" limit of $112k. Do you think he knew of this other limit? He's a professional, right? This is his line of business, right? Of course he knew - it was just enough vaneer-of-truth to delegitimize/demotivate me trying to get the numbers inside of the $25k IRS limit. But don't fool yourself that it was "honest"... it was intentionally manipulative towards his desired outcome (his interests, not mine nor reality). I brought this issue to Conrad the "Sales Manager", who was apparently willing to override and let me test-drive the vehicle, but he only seemed to care about getting me in the vehicle, not reviewing and adjusting his salesman's judgement. I was also ghosted when I attempted to confirm the $75k details noted above via text. I left feeling like Conrad's involvement was rather typical, caring about all the sales angles but less-so about the tactics. Based on Conrad's willingness to let me drive the vehicle, I was confident that they had no legitimate basis to originally deny my test-drive. Michael is the same salesman who, a week before, cut MY test drive of a new vehicle in half, so that HE could drive us back to dealership -- en-route exhibiting what I'm sure was Speeding and Reckless Driving (90mph on 90 degree curve @ Granite Dr. https://maps.app.goo.gl/owKTYYXmx7tbKR878 ). I've been in Rocklin for 25 years and have even been a long-time customer of Audi Rocklin. Unfortunately, things aren't always what they used to be. You've lost my business and respect. Also, you never address the "lying" (or at least bad information which remains uncorrected despite my providing proof) - nor the Reckless Driving, nor the failure to allow a test drive (which during our phone call, you had no excuse for and allegedly didn't agree with). He is genuine, sincere, and kind, which is unusual in the industry. Because the privacy blind for the cargo area was missing, he got online found one, and had it shipped to us. And, because there was a scratch in this used vehicle, he got online again, ordered a paint-pen from the car's manufacturer, and had that shipped to us, too. Let me start by saying that it was the worst customer experience we had buying a car ( have bought more than 6 cars in lifetime ) and and I would not recommend any one to this dealership unless it's the only option you have left.I love Audi brand and I still have a faith but this place ... After one month when I had chance to speak with Andrew who answered a call and he started making up excuses and told us that he never heard about all the issues. My experience with Audi Rocklin has been fine. Until this last time. I went in due to a flapping noise coming from the rear passenger tire. After inspection, they told me I had severe feathering across all tires and a flat spot on the rear passenger tire. After a long back-and-forth, my six month old, tires were supposedly not covered under the manufacture warranty. They indicated to me that I would have to purchase a set of four new tires and get an alignment done So I picked up the vehicle and decided to go elsewhere. another Audi dealer in the area confirmed that I indeed did not have feathering on any of the tires, the alignment was perfectly calibrated to Audi specs and all I needed was a rear tire that did have a flat spot on it that would be covered by the manufacturer warranty. The new Audi service people said it would be unethical to replace the tires that I had because they were perfectly fine. Be cautious when going to Audi Rocklin they will try to sell you parts and services that you do not need. read more

I should have read all the negative reviews. Don't buy your next Audi from Audi Rocklin The service dept(in my opinion) cuts corners. Purchased a CPO S6 and had to replace rear brakes after 5000 miles. When purchased, the rear brakes were at 5mm. The front pads were at 8mm. Now the rear inner pads are at 2 mm, the rear outer pads stayed the same (5mm). The front pad stayed the same and the tires stayed the same ... no wear. How is that logically possible? I will be selling the car as I have concerns about safety. Btw, the rear sensor was also cut according to a different certified Audi dealership. That explains why a warning light never came on. I also filed a complaint with AudiUSA.. This is my 3rd Audi and will be my last. read more

I don't even know where to begin with my frustrations with this location. We brought our Audi in because it was doing odd things. We brought it in and they quoted us around $2500. Picked it up after a week or so and it was still having the exact same problems. The first repair they did was completely unrelated to the problem. So we talked to someone about bringing it in again and they quotes us another $1000. They said because it wasn't fixed the first time, they would charge us around $700. Upon picking it up we were still charged $1,000, not the $700 we were told. It has been home for half a week now and is still having problems. Definitely will not bring it back considering they don't seem very capable of fixing it, but will take plenty of your money. We were only given a loaner car the first time we brought it in. They tried to charge us for that too, but it specifically says on their website that they pay for the loaner car if you are getting a service completed with them. Overall a big disappointment. They talk a big game without delivering quality work and customer service. read more

I recently went through the leasing process at Audi Rocklin with David Castro. To say that he met my expectations would be a complete understatement. He went above and beyond, understanding that I work an average of 60+ hours per week, was coming from a long distance away in the mountains, and needed to be pre-qualified. I have had my Q5 in twice to Audi Rocklin for problems related to the navigation system. Unfortunately since I purchased the car in July I have had nothing but problems with the car's electronics. By way of reference, I had a Rogue for almost 8 years and had no electronic problems. The Rogue was half the price of the Q5. When I picked up the car today I found out they have no fix for the Audi retaining favorite addresses in the navigation system and that I would simply have to wait until there was an update. I also reported that the Audi system kicks my phone out of the linked mobile devices. Again, no fix for that either but was told simply to wipe the Audi's system clean from all devices and reprogram it. Looks like I spent over $50,000 on a car that has crummy electronics. Guess I will have to continue to use my iPhone for navigation and it's speakerphone when I want to talk in my car as there is no fix for the Q5 continuing to kick my phone off of the linked mobile devices. read more

DON'T utilize Audi Rocklin for servicing your vehicle. It's an UNSAFE environment in more than one area (especially for a woman). They have poor rather NO communication skills with their customers, they fabricate and pontificate that they know best. They are dismissive and condescending. They do not return your vehicle to the condition in which it arrived. They don't follow thru, The service Manager, (VAL SHINTAK) email isn't even published, as he must get sooo many complaints on issues. If you purchase an Audi from AUDI ROCKLIN, be aware your service relationship with them will be dismal. I can't speak to their sales dept but if the service dept is any indication BEWARE. Audi Rocklin has a lot to learn about being Customer Focused. I have owned all types of high-dollar vehicles, (MBZ, BMW, ROVER) this is the WORST all-around experience...from the service writers to management EPIC FAIL. This dealership and service department are on a level far above any other I have had experience with. The entire facility, even the shop bays, are immaculately clean and orderly. When a customer drives in, he or she is greeted as they pull up and directed to their assigned customer service rep (ours has been Jeremiah, a most pleasant young man. If the job is long, a loaner is provided so one can spend the day as one wants away from the dealership. Upon completion, the work done is explained and sometimes a video overview is sent via email. Our car is washed (if the customer approves) and we are sent on our way with well wishes from the staff. Unfortunately, we live in Tahoe, a couple of hours away from Rocklin, so now that the services included in purchase are completed, we will likely find a service shop closer to home. Audi Rocklin serves as an example of how perfect and satisfying a car dealership can be. Also, when I purchased my 2019 TTRS, a hard to find model, these folks had my name/number on file and called the day one came in. I recently purchased a car from Audi of Rockland. I started the buying process via email asking questions about two different models I was interested in. My main contact was Kris Donkov. His email responses were prompt with detailed answers to my questions. I scheduled a visit just to see and touch the 2 models I was interested. I did not want to test drive them at that time. When I arrived, Kris had the 2 vehicles staged and walked me through the features, options, differences, and the advantages of an Audi vs competition. Two days later I scheduled a test drive, again the vehicles were ready and waiting for me. Once I decide to purchase I worked with Kris and Brandon to reach a price agreeable to all of us. There was never any pressure and BS, the cost sheet they provided during the negotiating included an estimate for taxes and fees so i knew the total cost. The car I purchased was not on the lot so pickup was the next day, Kris' day off. When I came to pickup the car, Kris was there to walk me through the setup of all the electronics. Brand spanking new, I brought my car in for service and made an appointment with sales to discuss options for my next vehicle. First off the facility is well done spotless and high tech looking. The customer lounge area is on the small side as the building itself is not that large. Audi Rocklin deals mostly in new vehicles with only a small inventory of used trade ins. The service was fast friendly and very polite. The same owner also runs SF Audi and Concord Audi. Surprisingly enough I left without my beautiful 2014 S5 cabriolet and took home the up engined, better handling high tech 2018 S5. The entire process took a couple of hours from start to finish. Magic Mike. Best and hilarious salesman you can ever meet. I was in the market for a new ride and was comparing with competitors and other Audi dealers. I had emailed about a RS3 inquiry and Mike replied quickly to assist me in my search for my new baby. I had many questions about the vehicle and packages/color that I wanted and Mike answered all of them and even sent me spec builds over email. But viewing cars over the phone is not the same as going in person. So I asked Mike to schedule an appointment at 11AM to test drive it and he was able to get me in the following day. Even though it was his day off, he came in and took care of me well. When I arrived at the dealer, Mike and the car was waiting for me. We checked it out and I decided it was a bit too small so then I looked at the 2019 S4's and test drove it. Mike also explained to me every single thing about the car and answered all my questions during the test drive. And let me tell you guys something, I tested Quattro. The car was planted during fast turns and I just didn't have the courage to keep accelerating because I came from a RWD vehicle. It just blew my mind. The S5 Sportback caught the corner of my eye and I had to test drive it as well, but it was basically the same engine and everything but felt more luxurious to me.
