This dealership and service department are on a level far above any other I have had experience with. The entire facility, even the shop bays, are immaculately clean and orderly. When a customer drives in, he or she is greeted as they pull up and directed to their assigned customer service rep (ours has been Jeremiah, a most pleasant young man. If the job is long, a loaner is provided so one can spend the day as one wants away from the dealership. Upon completion, the work done is explained and sometimes a video overview is sent via email. Our car is washed (if the customer approves) and we are sent on our way with well wishes from the staff. Unfortunately, we live in Tahoe, a couple of hours away from Rocklin, so now that the services included in purchase are completed, we will likely find a service shop closer to home. Audi Rocklin serves as an example of how perfect and satisfying a car dealership can be. Also, when I purchased my 2019 TTRS, a hard to find model, these folks had my name/number on file and called the day one came in. I recently purchased a car from Audi of Rockland. I started the buying process via email asking questions about two different models I was interested in. My main contact was Kris Donkov. His email responses were prompt with detailed answers to my questions. I scheduled a visit just to see and touch the 2 models I was interested. I did not want to test drive them at that time. When I arrived, Kris had the 2 vehicles staged and walked me through the features, options, differences, and the advantages of an Audi vs competition. Two days later I scheduled a test drive, again the vehicles were ready and waiting for me. Once I decide to purchase I worked with Kris and Brandon to reach a price agreeable to all of us. There was never any pressure and BS, the cost sheet they provided during the negotiating included an estimate for taxes and fees so i knew the total cost. The car I purchased was not on the lot so pickup was the next day, Kris' day off. When I came to pickup the car, Kris was there to walk me through the setup of all the electronics. I was pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable he was with all the systems, etc. I was also impressed that even on his day off there was no rush or hurry to finish. I wish I could give zero stars to this experience. Brought my brand new 2022 Q5 to get looked at due to ongoing Bluetooth/Audi connect issues since purchase. When approaching service desk, Mike, before saying anything had the WORST attitude. After telling him what was wrong he acted like it was our fault and we distinctly understand technology. "Did you turn plug it in and retry?"(seriously, come on man) They reluctantly looked at my car and said "nothing is wrong! I connected my phone just fine!" I showed them that both my phone and my partner's phone did not connect(and if it did it would disconnect every time) and they simply shrugged their shoulders and blamed our iPhones. The amount of sass and attitude I received was atrocious and I would never expect to receive this type of customer service from a LUXURY CAR BRAND STORE. I didn't pay $50k for a car that does not provide basic technology features and then have my concerns dismissed when I want them fixed. Do not recommend this place. Bill and Mike were the worst. I took my Audi A8 for a checkup as the vehicle computer said that it needs the brakes replacing. Audi Rocklin did a FULL checkup and said it needs the front brakes replacing and some other minor none urgent work. I was given a good price for the brakes they sorted out a rental car as they had none of their courtesy cars available. The following day I picked up the car. The problem began two days later when I get into the car and the air suspension would not work, the front of the car was dangerously low and wouldn't lift up. I assumed one of the mechanics made a mistake and damaged something while replacing the brakes. Audi took the car back and 2 days later said that the suspension airbags broke and it needs replacing due to wear and tear .. the bill for replacing one side of the car was nearly $4500!!! Audi has NO confidence in their product for the flashship vehicle to be needing this amount of work in just over a 100,000 miles speaks volumes. What is worse that I have been told that they don't have the tech to do a proper diagnosis of their cars. I will not accept that there is no way to detect upcoming problems after 2 days of having the car. Audi offered to buy the car from me for a $1000 or they might give me more if I commit to a $50,000 to $60,000. The service manager said that Audi customer these days would not keep the car after the warranty runs out or they would just lease their cars. They adviced me not to repair the car !! And they didn't point out that the car is risky to drive back home, luckily I asked and had it towed away. I found my experience disappointing to the extreme, all they were concerned about is that I am going to be writing a negative review which I said I would be regardless if they refund me the money for the work they did or not. The car now has been written off and will not be on the road again. My advice to anyone wanting a luxury vehicle is to: -only buy if you research the repair costs first and NOT be tempted to buy a $100,000 for $20,000 it might seem affordable now but in actuality the repair bills will always reflect the original price not the current price. -having had a BMW, Merc, Porches in the past too my vehicle of choice will always be a BMW as long as you stick to a 5 series or below. Audi/VW you have been letting your customers down for nearly a decade with constant recalls, poor customer relations, for the biggest largest car manufacturer in the world I find that remarkable. Audi Rocklin don't waste your time writing to me as nothing you say will forgive how I spent over $1,200 and lost my car cos of you. ---------- Re. In response to the owners comment. Luke, I did promise to review my experience with Audi regardless if I am being refunded or not, so be CAREFUL using words like extortion ! That is not how you address your customers. You can check with your service manager as those were my exact words! I find it very interesting how the story now changes, just to shed even more light on the situation, I will reiterate what has happened. The car came in for a brakes replacement and a checkup, the check didn't come back with any issues to do with the suspension having any problems. Funnily enough since my visit to your dealership it has. I was told by your service manager that you do not recommend I do the work to the car as you couldn't guarantee that there will be no more issues coming up in the rest of the sides of the car, and FYI 200 dollars off 2800 is not heavily discounted and spending 2800 and then being told it can be 3 times that again possibly in the not too distant future is crazy, I didn't want to spend that money and I'm sure no one in their right mind would, and yeah did I say you offered me a 1000 dollars in part exchange unless I commit to a $60,000 vehicle. Lastly If I didn't call to ask if the car was safe to drive I would have driven it thinking it was at least ok to drive. Luke, do check the full facts before writing notes back, don't be simply defensive this is my experience with your dealership that It's not an attack on Audi, or you. 2 stars for good price on the car. Messed up my paperwork. Realized it when I was out about 1 mile away at a gas station and went back. The finance guy(shaved head guy British guy from Hong Kong) wanted to place the blame on us for the mistake and we had to push back and he went away and did his job properly by creating new paperwork. After we got the new paperwork, the (General??)manager said they were closed(although people inside were still working) and indicated it will be great if we left the premises, when what we needed was 5 minutes to put all papers together and since we had driven from 2 hours away was trying to figure out which route to take get back faster. Anyways, left immediately and did that 5 minute work inside the car. The salesperson I was coordinating with via text, I asked him for a picture of the car(since I was a couple of hours away). He sent me one, and I thought I saw some paint missing on the car and asked him for more detail since the picture wasn't high res and I couldn't make out the details and I didn't want to waste his or my time by driving and then not buying, and his answer on text was "Oh it's a CPO car, you should buy a new car if you're so particular". I didn't respond and in 5 minutes he was back on text giving me details. I mean really how juvenile is this? The finance guy was suddenly all ears when I called him once to check on an extended car warranty- The sound of Pure profit(most extended warranties are pure profits) suddenly made his customer service quality up by several notches. There were few other things but I'll keep it short ;) :) Anyways, improve your customer service Audi Rocklin. I brought in my perfect, mint condition Audi sedan here (to sell) and was offered $9,000 LESS than multiple other car dealerships and Audi dealerships already had offered. When the salesman you're working with even says that the number was "too low" and advises you sell it somewhere else what can you say? The used car manager's behavior even embarrassed the sales guys! The super friendly staff at Audi Rocklin went above and beyond to help me get my car taken care of AND back to me in SF. The fix was straightforward once they got the parts in, and they were great about texting and calling with updates. Overall, such a lifesaver!! We were miss diagnosed time and time again but never got money back on the $4,000 first problem that wasn't even broke. I'm sick to my stomach about it. I think this dealership needs to be sued on how they treat the elderly , to me it warrants "abusive elderly care" ! Maybe a special attorney will DM me! Maybe some of you know I don't make personal posts on my Facebook, only up lifting, or great pics, educational, or food for thought! My blood is boiling! Not only did I get suckered into buying with no prior intention but I was kept there for 9 hrs!!! Yep 9 hrs, no break for lunch or dinner and didn't even have breakfast before! I was offered water (Gee thx) around 5 pm I realized a mistake or miscalculation and asked for my car back to drive home ! I was instead taken into an office and the Mgr or owner came in and worked on me again. I asked for my car back and said I just want to go home! After working on me for two more hrs and trying to sign some paperwork via a iPad that was just a "touch here to sign" I was instructed to come back tomorrow for something not really sure because nothing was understood since I was not functioning normal. More detail, too long to go thru . They had me sign for extended warranty after my warranty would expire in aprox 4 yrs! My son reviewed what I said and he said they raped you and left you for dead! Omg this should not have happened ! Cancel the extended warranty immediately and I don't think there is anything you can do since u drove off the lot, but we will seek legal advice! Trying to pay off some loan they did cause he was "calling in a favor " they tacked on the warranty to the loan! 3 months later guess who does not have the 5495.00 cancelled warranty ck in hand??? The dealership has got it, on 10/3/23! Trying to pay off the remainder of a loan that should have never happened so this dealership does not earn extra dollars for securing more money for them in their financing! I wanted to pay off immediately and they said the 5495 is still in the pay off! I said no it shouldn't be it was cancelled, shame on the dealership for processing a cancelled warranty and more shame that they have not reported or given the monies to reflect it is not in the loan so the loan could be paid off! Please do not deal with ROCKLIN AUDI !!!! They are as crooked as a 3 dollar bill. Be careful of any senior going in alone cause they will take advantage of them anyway they can! Plz share with ten of your friends! I will seek legal advice! By the way Jamie (the salesman) apologized the next day for the bad treatment of me and the dealership, I said plz give me back my Lexus! I came in just to look around and he welcomed me as if we have known each other for so long already, yes he's a funny guy and an awesome sales guy. And because of that wonderful experience, I ended up trading in my two cars and I drove away with 2 brand new 2021 Q8 (October) and 2021 SQ5 (November)! And I even brought a friend with me the next time I visited and she bought 2021 Q3 (November) from our favorite guy, David Castro once again! If you go visit this Dealership, ask for David Castro and he will take good care of you from the start till the end of the transaction and even beyond that. I took my daughters Audi to Audi Rocklin for service on Feb 26, 2024 for an oil change. This morning my daughter told me that the Service Light was still on....so I called the service department and Spoke with Michael V. (Service Advisor) who helped us out before. I mentioned that they forgot to clear out the "Service in 1000 miles/30 days". He told me that means that they have to hook it up to their machine and do a service to the vehicle. I told him that we did do the 65K Service in advance at Audi Sacramento. My daughters vehicle has 68,491 miles as of today. He told me that they would have TO DO A 95k Service to the vehicle and with the discounted oil change that we just did it would be an add'l $1200 more. He told me that a 50k and the 65K Service was done on the vehicle but its the mileage OR its a time thing. I'm not kidding you. Holly Molly, use common sense. So I just got back from a specialized auto place in Folsom and the owner could not believe what I was telling him. I showed him all the paperwork that was done and he couldn't believe that Audi Rocklin would not reset the Service button....so he hooked it up to his machine and reset it for us. Please look at the pictures and see for your self. I always pay a little extra and go to the dealer but when someone is trying to take advantage of you.....just run. The service center here is top notch. My Advisor Lenny is awesome. He helped me with a check engine light and gave me great advise on where to take the car to fix the exterior of my car after a little fender bender. Everything here works like a well oiled machine. You walk in, talk with your adviser, sign stuff on your phone, get your nice looking loaner and leave. They regularly send you texts or call with updates and such. I had some extra issues with my extended warranty from Carmax and my advisor Lenny was in constant communication with them and resolved the issue. For my next Audi I will make sure to buy a low mileage certified one from them so I can use their service center. Good customer service is rare these days. Beware of the Mind Games. They kept my car keys and registration in order to pressure me into buying the new car. Visited the Audi Rocklin to check out the pre-owned certified Q5. The Sales guy was very co-operative and I had a great experience. Things turn little worse when we started going through numbers. They asked for my old car keys so they could check out the car and come up with the estimate for the trade in value. After giving the keys to them, turns out they kept both my Car Keys and Registration with them. 45mins in the conversation it was clear that it was not going to work and I asked for my keys back. But multiple people and managers kept on coming and pressuring me to by they car and just won't give the keys back. Every time I asked for keys either they would go back and come back with revised offer or someone new from finance/management dept would stop by to talk to me. It took a lot of time and lot of asking to get my keys back. Finally when they realized that it was not happening after spending a lot of time they finally gave the keys back and thats when I realized that they has also taken the registration. Be careful of the mind games. You'll be pressured to buy the car and will be handicapped if you give your keys to them. read more
