Love Audi cars. My dad's has an R8, A8, and wagon. My sister has an a4. My wife has a q5. But the dealership in tucson has been consistently horrible. They damaged the paint when fixing another problem by putting adhesive tape all over it for some reason. Took months but they fixed it. Then the motor mount broke. Then the blower on the air conditioner. Then the turbo. Some covered by warranty, some not. Regardless, not fun constantly fixing things. Also the car is always returned dirtier inside than when I drop it off. They literally left doors and windows open in a construction area while working on the car and didn't clean it. They also never wash it after service unless you make an issue of it. My advice, avoid this dealership. read more

Thankful for the continued good service here. My key battery died and when I checked my spare, that battery was also dead. I LOVE my keyless entry and after two days of using the key manually, I was over it!!! Called Jill and she said no problem come in the following day and they'd check it out. I'm an early bird so arrived about 6:45 am and sat in the lobby with coffee and news waiting for them to open at 7:00 am. Dan offered to help me, changed the batteries in both my keys, and I was on my way well before 7:00 am! Thank you, Dan and Jill!! Originally bought my Audi from Carmax but discovered it was still under the manufacture warranty, so came here for some service. I have to say being a younger female, I do not always get the best treatment when it comes to car things. My mind was changed when I came to Audi of Tucson. From the moment I called to schedule service (which you can do from their website as well), I was treated with kindness. They have a fantastic service crew who will get you a loaner vehicle if you need it or make you comfortable in the lobby until your car is done. I even got to complete on online survey and got a $25 Starbucks gift card as thank you! After this great experience, I returned to buy a new Audi a4. The sales team worked with me to get the best deal. I did not feel pressured at all. A service member even suggested maintenance packages to get the best bang for my buck. The only draw back is that I live in Vail and have to go way into town. But it is good to know if I ever have an issue where I cant drive, Audi will get me towed and taken care of. read more

Dear sales department: Once I've invested time in a test drive, research, and submission of an approved financing app., I don't think it inappropriate to ask the PRICE of the vehicle. I don't know why you would think I should put down a deposit to hold an incoming Q5 when you won't give me a number. Assuring me I'll get a "good deal" is not a price. Finally, when I asked a third time for a price, you got your manager's permission to quote me "$750 over invoice" which is still NOT a number. I thought this kind of game playing was the province of the low budget used car salespeople. So now that I've gone with another dealer, you are still blowing up my phone? What a disappointment for new car sales tactics on a luxury brand. read more

For nearly six months Patrick worked tirelessly on finding the right car at the right price to serve Lynne's needs. He is an exceptional professional giving the car sales profession a great name. We also worked with Robb Marsh the finance manager. In many dealerships it is up to the finance manager to up sell buyers on add on options. Robb did a wonderful job of telling us those options, delivering on those that we needed for the right price based on our budget. With this purchase we have now owned 27 cars. Sometimes salesmen are condescending to females but didn't feel that way at all. He is someone I felt I could trust. So this is for the overall buying experience. I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted. The sales staff listened to what I was asking for and really worked with me to find something that met my needs. They were friendly without being overly pushy and helpful when I had questions. Overall, the whole experience took just under 3 hours. Considering I have in the past spent a whole day in a dealership, this was a great change of pace. This review is also for the service department, as I did not purchase my car there. However, the service department has been absolutely phenomenal, particularly Dan Paris. First, like others have said, I have never, ever been pressured to get repairs that weren't for what I brought the car in for. Over several visits, never once did I get the impression they are one of those places who looks for anything to scare you into spending more money. I came in for an alignment, I left without being told I needed 40 other repairs. This is a major selling point since I'm always afraid of being pressured into repairs that aren't really necessary. Secondly, I have even called over the phone with questions about changing the rim size and tires and they have been phenomenal about checking information for me (factory specs) over the phone and helped me avoid coming in for something I could easily diagnose and do myself (changing the fuse). I always felt they were there to help, even when it didn't make them a dime. And Dan was great about having a chat about my car in general and telling me what to keep an eye out for in the new few years. I appreciated that he was willing to take the time to just talk to me about my car so I knew more about common issues and important milestones. When I have come in, they have been great with easily and promptly providing a loaner when needed and being in touch, when I wanted to get in quickly for a trip check. They are always courteous and make sure to offer coffee, water and snacks, and even when I just brought it in for a complimentary 15-20 minute trip check they offered to wash it- which I know is fairly standard but was pleasantly surprised that they offered on short a short visit. I cannot recommend them enough. They are honest and treat their customers with respect. They have been nothing short of wonderful. read more

Do you enjoy predatory, bait and switch lies? Then you'll LOVE dealing with Chapman Audi Tucson! Pros: the showroom is beautiful and clean. Cons: They're shady liars! TLDR: They add $1200+ of fees that they don't disclose until after you've wasted your time going there. I found what appeared to be a used Mercedes CLS63 at a fantastic price on truecar. I requested to make sure the price was accurate and that they weren't going to try and add a bunch of arbitrary, profit padding fees to the deal. Truecar showed only a $500 doc fee (which is also an arbitrary profit padding fee, but I digress). I called the dealer and spoke with Brynn, informed her I found the Mercedes on truecar and wanted to confirm nothing was added to the car. She confirmed the price and said only doc fee added. I drove 2 hours from Mesa to Tucson to discover that this allegedly clean car was not only filthy but smelled like cigarette smoke and had multiple flaws (power trunk broken, headrest switch broken, suspension switch broken, rear console lid broken). Despite these things, I really enjoyed driving the car so I decided to move forward with trying to purchase it. Long story short, they refused to honor the Truecar price and added over of useless garbage to it that I didn't want. They first tried to lie and say the add-ons were included in the price, then said they were included in the out the door price, but nowhere were these things broken down. After I questioned them, they then produced a hand written breakdown of $400 for nitrogen tire package, $599 flashing tail light and $189 for vin etching. I insisted they honor the truecar price or I wasn't interested in buying their car. The manager tried to make me feel guilty for wasting their time (uhm i drove 2hrs down and 2hrs back just to walk away empty handed but okay). They then said "have a nice day" and walked off. I understand that dealers have to make money and this is how they add to their profit margins, but I don't believe in it and won't do business with dealers who operate on this business model. Even after using what I thought was a trusted resource and DIRECTLY ASKING, I was lied to up until the point they thought I wouldn't say no. If you don't mind paying $1700 directly to dealership profits (doc fee included), then you'll have no issue with them. I, however, will be doing business elsewhere. read more

co worker had warranty work performed on his Q7. Just like you guys did on mine. Low oil. widgets loose. On his when he got home to sierra vista he was leaking oil and noticed alignment was way off. These are expensive vehicles, not dodge! You expect repairs to be done right the first time. I realize these were warranty repairs and you dont get paid much, but still do things right the first time. read more

Service provided was not reflective of the Audi brand. Made reservation for service over the internet and dealership did not have details day of appointment. Was forced to reschedule appointment because loaner (requested in advance) was not confirmed by dealership it would not be available. Had to go to work and asked for service rep to call to reschedule and didn't receive a call back for more than four hours. Had to call the dealership to reschedule originally scheduled service. No apologies, no effort to recover from the considerable inconvenience and dealership was not truthful about condition of tires, even though they wanted to sell like replacements but quoted tire spec that was not like replacement. This was probably the worst costumer service I've ever experienced. I brought my car in for them to fix the tail light. I brought it in on Thursday and they said it would be done by Monday. Monday passes and they never called or answered my phone calls. Then I call again on Tuesday to which they tell me they still haven't fixed it. It's extremely unprofessional for a company that has my car to not answer, keep in touch and actually do there job. I would one hundred percent not recommend going to this dealer ship. It's definitely worth the hour long drive to Phoenix to actually get your car fixed by professionals. read more

So disappointed in the service at this dealership. We live in Chandler but my son found the car he wanted at this Tucson Dealer. We drove to Tucson to purchase it and there was some damage to the interior that they said they would repair if we left it there and returned for it a few days later. When we returned to pick it up, the work was not completed. They apologized and said we would have to come back but they would fix it if we brought it back. While I was not happy about having to drive back to Tucson again, they were very apologetic so I let it go. We made an appointment for the following weekend and drove back again to get the work done. Dropped the car off at 7 am and when we returned at noon, we were told they did not order what they needed to do the work. We had now drove there 3 times and wasted an entire day. Again they apologized and once again we made another appointment for a few weekends out. Because of previous experiences we called before we headed out to our next appointment which is a good things as they did not even have us scheduled. After speaking to the sales person we bought the car from, he was supposed to check on what was going on and call us back and never had. Extremely disappointing. I would be cautious about doing business at this dealership as they do not seem to be very concerned about following through with what they promise or inconveniencing their customers. read more

I'm new to Tucson and to this dealership. Staff was friendly and handled my service quickly.

My son took his 2012 Audi A6 in to see why his car had the "coolant system fault" light on... they did not tell him there was a charge of $165+ tax to do a "diagnostic" on the car... Then we get an estimate for $2350+ with no breakdown of cost. Then we get another estimate with $650+ for parts and $1750 for labor... I live in San Diego, tell my son to go get the car so we can get another opinion. That sounded way too much, plus I spoke to a mechanic here that is a friend of mine. He said for what they are doing, it should cost around $1,200 total. They estimated 10.3 hrs of labor... Anyways, took it to another shop, they removed the supercharger and found that is was just the hose leaking, maybe a seal or 2... Less than $600 and fixed! I know dealers charge more, but what a rip off.. Is no stars allowed? Don't go here unless, your car is under warranty and no out of pocket cost to you.. Many honest shops in Tucson that will take care of your cat. read more

When the Service Writer tells you with complete confidence that "there is a lot wrong with your car and, um, it's going to be here for a while" before he even opens the hood or starts it up it's hard not to think that you're being primed to be ripped off. That's how a diagnostic appointment that I made began, and it made me extremely distrustful of how this place is run. I did appreciate the follow up call from Customer Service - they listened to my description of my experience and promised to have the Service Manager contact me directly. Unfortunately, however, I never heard from the Service Manager, and that lack of concern makes me feel as though my initial worries were more than valid. Proceed with caution with this shop. read more

About a year ago I visited this dealership. At that time I was still in the shopping around mode, but really I could have saved myself the next couple of months of looking around. It was love at first sight. Nothing else compared. I was hooked. I had found my soul mate. But I digress....there are 2 main aspects of any dealership - sales and service. The first is okay. The second is outstanding. 5 stars for the service department. I know they will take good care of my baby. They always take my list of issues (albeit a small list) seriously. If I say I have a rattle somewhere they will find it and fix it which is no small feat since it never rattles while there. Because, of course, the car never makes the same noise once in the presence of the repair guy. The courtesy wash is also a nice touch. 3.5 stars for the sales department. I made a couple of visits before my purchase. My sales guy was always friendly and patient. His manager did the typical "if you buy today we'll do this but this is good for today only"; however, once we decided to move forward they honored all of the "today only" deals which was cool. They had the usual doc fee which I knew would be added to the price. After all, this wasn't my first car buying experience so I asked up front how much it was. Then the nitrogen issue came up. I agree with Rip C. that it soured the whole experience. We had been told about how they put nitrogen in the tires and how great that is, but no one ever mentioned that we were going to have to pay extra for it. Now I know it's only $150, but at this point it became a matter of principal. We refused to pay for it. We had already agreed upon a price. They also refused to waive the fee. Ultimately, they decided they would take the nitrogen out and fill the tires with regular air. Hilarious. That was fine with us though as the benefits of nitrogen are negligible. We were considering going to Phoenix for the purchase, but I'm glad we stayed local. Overall, my experiences have been pleasant. read more
