Arthur is amazing and so fast. I had issues with my xm radio reception. He offered up a great option. I replaced my stereo for only $265 including installation for a Sony HD radio with USB and iPod port. My xm radio now works amazing and I can now use pandora through my phone. I was in need of a stereo/radio company that could fix my Van's MP3 radio player that went on and off on it's own. To restore the radio I had to hit the dash. I live in Pasadena so I went to Audio Crafters and met Victor. We decided to meet Friday (today-8/18). Well to say he offered spectacular service at a very reasonable price is an understatement. Within the first 5 minutes he diagnosed that the radio was fine, however the installer (outfit in Pheonix) abandoned the original power supply line and installed their own (faulty) when the MP3/radio unit was installed some 5 years ago. Then within another 5 minutes he reused the original power line; viola! The radio works perfectly and no longer has periods of turning off and on on its own. Victor is personable, friendly and a true professional that understands every single aspect of his craft. I am very happy I found Audio Crafters. BTW...when was the last time you heard the owner and professional tell you as you were leaving..."if you have any problem whatsoever, bring it back and I will take care of the problem for you". Walked in @ 4p, told Arthur I wanted a head unit that could stream music from my phone via bluetooth, "I got that, under $200 installed, Sony." Today? "Give me 45 minutes." By 4:50p, he'd already given me a tutorial on the menu functions, paired my phone, & showed me how to stream music & take hands free calls. Price was lower than any reputable dealer online. A cd has been stuck in my car stereo for a long time, and I'm getting ready to take a road trip. I stopped in here because of all the 5 star reviews, and am glad I did! Arthur was able to get right on my problem, and together we decided I needed a new radio as well as speakers. The old ones rattle so much I couldn't even hear the music. Arthur installed a new Pioneer (DEH-x6500BT) which is fabulous! Built-in Bluetooth, I can use my phone thru the radio (he put a mic in the corner of the windshield), I can stream Pandora, it has USB connection, and I don't know what else. Arthur installed new speakers in the same spots as the old ones (luckily they fit), but he had to disassemble a lot of the molding around the dash. The whole job took only about 1 1/4 hours total The price was very fair, Arthur was very capable and helpful. He even screwed down a loose mudflap on my van. I'm a happy camper! read more

First off let me say, thank you so much Yelp for helping my find this place! Let me get onto the review now, Quick backstory: I've been many audio shops, and spent countless amounts of money ($3000+) to get things fixed that the previous shops did... The thing about audio shops is that many just chop and screw their wiring/box/installation. They feel as long as there is sound coming out of the speakers and the subwoofer bumps they think they did their job. Even worse, most shops says they can fix the previous shop's problems (even criticizing other shops), but in reality their work is just as horrible as the previous shop. I decided to give Audio Crafters a try because of all the great Yelp reviews, I figured if they can't get it right, then I am giving up on Car Audio. Right when I walk in I get greeted by Arthur, and I begin to tell him what I want and my previous experiences with audio shops. He immediately tells me "I'll take care of you." He fixes my first and main problem in mere minutes ( car wash people touched my amp and changed some stuff), and he also fixes minor problems that I didn't even know about... I tell him that I also want to change the location of my subwoofer (old location was taking up 1/2 of the trunk space of my 350z). He tells me it will take a or two,and charges me a price which I felt was very cheap so I immediately tell him to get started on it. Arthur calls me the next day and tells me that my subwoofer would not fit in the area i specified, he then tells me he is willing to do a trade for another subwoofer. I check online and see that the subwoofer he is trading me is more expensive than my subwoofer so I was all for the trade. (Find me another a shop who does this!!!) Few hours later Arthur calls me to tell me that my car is done... he explained that he decided to work all day on my car and told other clients to come later so that was how he got it done before his estimated time.. (He's done it to me, I had to make an appointment at his shop, but it is because he wants to concentrate on one car at a time.) To sum it up, Arthur and his team is amazing. They do quality work for a quality price, and I could not be happier with how my sound system came out. He really instilled my confidence back in Car Audio. Please if you take anything out of this review.. GO TO AUDIO CRAFTERS, it is not a shop where they do Tint and Rims and all that other stuff. Audio Crafters focuses on Audio and that is it, and I much rather take my car to an Audio specialty store for my Audio needs. OH last thing, Arthur is very straight forward, and he will not beat around the bush with you so don't expect him to agree with everything you say. However, he will tell you the truth and be real with you.. I like that about him. TL;DR version: I went to many shops in the past, and they all were horrible. I Lost confidence in Car Audio shops until I went to Audio Crafters. They specialize in Car Audio and they take care of you no doubt. Stopped by here on my lunch break one day to get an estimate on a new head unit with Sirius XM, an amp and a sub woofer for my Silverado. Art was very honest and his prices were very good. Got me in the next day and finished it in a couple hours. Stereo sounds awesome as he set the bass and treble perfect, he even hooked up my bluetooth and showed me how to use everything and adjust it if i needed to. I went in knowing almost nothing about speakers and they explained to me what kinds of speakers i would need given my objectives, and where I could save given my budget. I mostly spoke with Hambik who was very personable and helpful, and Author's nephew. They offered very good prices and even provided me more services than they billed me for, such as reconnecting the wires of my stereo system when they saw that they were connected weakly. There was a glitch in the head unit that would not allow it to operate my 1st Gen iPod controls, and they took care of it by swapping it for a different model that didn't have the same glitch at no charge. Arthur is just terrible. I went to see him for a second repair due to his installation was creating problems in my electrical. He was rude and very hostile. Over the phone he scream at me and told me that the problems with my alarm and navigational system was not his fault. I told him that the products were good and perhaps the wiring of the product was not done correctly. He lost his mind when I mentioned it to him and he would charge me if he was to trouble shoot the problem. I told him that the product and labor was under his warranty. The warranty did not matter according to him. Will not return to him. Very bad experience. read more

This place is great.... It is currently staffed by the owner only.... Arthur who is very competent and obviously displays that he cares about his business and its reputation. I can tell that he wants all of his customers to be satisfied. He did two installations for me. He answered all of my questions in detail and spent a lot of time with me (he was not busy) explaining my options. He greeted me right away and was very polite. I sense that he is an honest and open guy about everything. I got this feeling from actually hanging out with him during the second installation I had done by him. He is a family man with kids and is responsible about doing the right thing for his customers. Prices were fair and he gave me a named brand Sony unit with HD reception and great, powerful speakers at a discount with tax and installation included.... no hangling or ripoffs. He also did quick and tidy installations both times I was there. He obviously knows what he is doing because he talked to me while doing the second installation without any mistakes or hesitation whatsoever. He obviously has installed many stereo before. I just had some body work done on my car and the body shop jostled one of the speakers loose. The speakers had been installed at Best Buy. I brought the car by in the morning based on Yelp reviews. The owner of the shop came out and I told him that one of the speakers was shorting out when I hit bumps. The owner agreed to look at it right then and there and would only charge me $40. The owner and his assistant then went through the speaker system, took out the speaker and re-installed it. They explained to me that it was jostling because it was not installed properly. While in the car, they also noticed that I had some paneling that was peeling where my old speakers used to be. They repaired it on the spot at no charge. I felt well taken care of and then asked if they could install a new alarm. They quoted a fair price, put the alarm in within 45 minutes and I was off. Summertime in SoCal, the weather is nice and music is my life. Mix this all together and you have a craving for a state of the art stereo system. I frequent Pasadena and I've come across this spot called Audio Crafters. Now, I'm not an expert when it comes to stereo systems, but I did do a bit of research and I knew I needed something soothing to the ears and eyes! I decided to pay a visit and see if this place was willing to provide me with what I needed for a reasonable price. Sure enough my fellow yelpers, I was treated with respect, the prices were perfect according to my budget (compared to other spots because I did call around) and the guy didn't hesitate to explain everything to me. Yes, he actually took his time to ask me what I was looking for and what he recommended according to my budget, which I might add is hard to find nowadays; props for dealing with me and my 35 questions. Two thumbs up for this customer service oriented mom and pop shop! Anyways, I was sold!!! The parts were ordered (they have very high-end speakers) and when I took my car in everything was installed in one day! Everything was nicely installed: no glitches and no mess. The sound is crystal!!! I love listening to music in the car even more now.
