This isn't the nicest Target that I've ever been to, but it's not terrible. I don't frequent this…read morestore often but when I do, it's usually just to the parking lot to pick up my online order. The online ordering and pick up service is great, friendly associates and it's quick! The last few times I've been inside, it's looked run down, the shelves are a disaster, the lack of music alone makes me dislike shopping there, and the super obviousness of their loss prevention team following people around is obnoxious. Another thing is the lack of open registers, any given time, you're lucky to have two manned registers open and just a handful of self scan registers available, causing long lines and even longer wait times. I understand lack of staff, trust me, but there has got to be a better way, maybe add MORE self scans and take out all the registers that can't be used due to lack of staff.

Full disclosure: I worked at this location for a summer more than a decade ago. It was one of my…read morefavorite summer jobs and I continued shopping there pretty regularly for a very long time, but when the pandemic hit I more or less lost my taste for walking into a store and just browsing for the sake of it. I've only been there once or twice since, and only when I needed something very specific. Tonight I just felt like shopping, so I walked in and wandered around for a while. Unfortunately for me, I also needed to use the restroom when I first arrived. I walked in and of the four stalls in the women's room, one had an out of order sign on it, one had what appeared to be feces caked along the wall behind the toilet, a third had a toilet seat absolutely smeared with blood, and the fourth had a marginally less filthy toilet, but the trash can for feminine products was overflowing and spilling onto the floor. I washed my hands and held it until I got home rather than use any of them. Beyond that, the store itself is much less clean and organized than it used to be. I understand that some of this is probably because of the time of year and an increase in shopping, but it was a level that was pretty shocking even taking that into consideration. Boxes piled up on the floor in the middle of aisles, items spilling off of shelves and hanging out everywhere in complete disarray, carts full of items just sitting in the middle of the floor near the books and electronics sections. It made me sad to see the state of the store when I remembered what it looked like back when I worked there. I won't be in a rush to go back.

Tradeport - After 10 minutes of driving around the lot and calling twice I saw people carrying stuff down these stairs.

I know it's a crap shoot and the inventory changes often so I'll come back once more. I'm the kind of shopper who knows what she wants, doesn't need to be followed around and doesn't Want to feel compelled to make small talk the entire time I'm shopping. I felt 'hovering'. It was uncomfortable just being in the store. I walked over to look at a huge tv with a big bright neon price tag just on the other side of the exit door and the two people who had been 'monitoring' me Immediately yelled out..."Ma'am!!! There's nothing down there!" I couldn't get out fast enough. Next time I'll come earlier in the day with more energy to deflect the weird energy. Lol! Also-really hard to find this place. I had to call twice and was told to go 'way to the other end' when I asked if they were near the Irving. I could shoot a BB gun and hit the place from Irving. I guess I was a little frustrated when I walked in and the Google pics made it look so big that I set myself up for the fall. It's just M'eh...

So, where do I start with this "gem" of a business? Clear sarcasm aside, after an issue with an…read moreEbay order I had the misfortune of dealing with the "customer service department" for "TradeportUSA" which turned out to be one guy named "Pat". A quick call to the business "phone number" redirects you to an automated answering machine. The business's online presence attempts to paint an image of a professional organization with many staffers, but the truth is it's staffed by (you guessed it) just "Pat". Now onto my transaction: I purchased a watch from "Tradeport" on ebay from US to Canada (international shipping) and it started off great. I got a message saying it was shipped. Lo and behold two days later the watch shows as delivered and I dutifully opened a case on Paypal because the tracking info shows that it had been delivered to a domestic PA address. Upon contacting the seller (ahem Pat), I was told that I had opened the case prematurely, and the PA address was simply a dropoff point. No big deal. I would keep the case open until around the middle of October, since that's why Ebay/Paypal has this arbitration policy in the first place, so if the item does arrive I can close it and everyone can be on their merry way. Behold my surprise when Pat the "customer service department" writes back saying that since I had opened the case, he was calling the shipper and telling them not to ship unless if I closed the case. Huh? Now why would that be? This is not the first time I've been either a buyer or seller on Ebay. As long as a Paypal case is not escalated, the buyer can choose to wait for the item to arrive and then close it. I got another message from "pat" saying that Ebay holds the funds if I open a dispute. Uh, yes, but Ebay holds the funds anyways until the item shows as successfully delivered to destination. So why would an honest seller have reservations about a buyer wanting to confirm that they actually receive the item instead of making up some bs excuse about Ebay holding the funds? The Ebay system is designed to prevent buyers from scoring freebies by claiming they didn't receive the item if the seller provides adequate tracking information that shows clear delivery to the intended address. In this case he starts by providing improper tracking then tries to tell me that he's worried about me scoring a freebie off him and claiming a case anyways...well how convenient. Major red flags at this point. I decide to do some research on this seller. Turns out this guy has a history of some very dodgy sales, as well as snide condescending responses on people who offer realistic reviews of his questionable trade practices. Conclusion? Stay away from this sham of an organization, the online presence is designed to make you think they had a shred of legitimacy but you try to call the number and their 'customer service department' and all you get is an automated messaging service which is no doubt full of messages already from other dissatisfied customers. I'm sure "Pat" has a snide reply ready too responding to this review. It's his particular version of "customer service". Oh and "Pat"? A "customer service department' implies you have more than 1 employee, usually. What a pretentious sham of a 'business'. Edit 1: Glassdoor shows this company as having 4 former employees, all let go sometime in 2019. I guess it's really just me, myself and Pat. Edit 2: You can't pull a fast one on me, "Pat", like you did on all your other victims. And this review will make sure far less people fall for your cheap tricks.
