Was really impressed and surprised considering the reviews. Was told that recently, within the last 6 months, this store has seen complete turnover with employees though and they are focusing on customer service. You can tell. I requested a quote on Yelp- Carlos called me to discuss it further. Ended up going a couple days later and Damien had me in and out of there with a brand new radio installed in under an hour! Best of all, they were friendly and had positive energy. I could tell they enjoyed working there and that's a relief when you deal with people who enjoy what they do vs. people who are angry about doing their job. Carlos called a few days later to check on me and see how my momma liked her new radio- that's great customer service. Radio with install only cost me $116. Prices are fair and competitive in comparison to other places around town but I didn't have the great customer service from other places I called. This is my experience with this company . I had a horrible experience at lomas location on San Mateo very rude . I called the other location manager about this after taking my car to audio express on coors a manager named Devin helped me and I tell you what talk about customer service skillz . Devin went above and beyond to help me and make my bad experience with them a good one granite I would not recommend going to lomas location to any one who reads this!!!!but I would like to say thank you to Devin I have a different out look on this company and I will be a returning customer to Devins location I couldn't appreciate more him dealing with my problem personally and taking care of it . what a wonderful manager you have at this location and being a store manager myself I know any company would be delighted to have a manager like this that takes pride in what he dose read more

Cheech helped me out and man does this guy have EXCELLENT customer service! I was just pricing around and Audio Express Westside was the first place I stopped and was also the last place I stopped. I ended buying my Kenwood Car stereo from him. He was very friendly to my kids he gave them balloons and made them feel comfortable, he has a great sense of humor, was making my wife laugh and he doesn't try to sell you something that you don't need. I am a manager a Jiffy Lube and I have been there 20 years and those are the type of employees we would like at our shops! I would love to have someone like him at my shop so Audio Express, hang onto him because if not I will snatch him from you. LOL. Absolutely the best place in town to do business. I have dealt in customer service for my entire career and the customer Service that this Audio Express shows is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had these guys put in a complete new system into my BMW and there were a few quirks with the install and the vehicle had to be returned a few times for some fine tuning and each and every time the customer service was phenomenal. You wont find a better group of individuals to do business and overall, a great group of gentlemen as well. Went in to upgrade my system with subs and an amplifier. Ray, my sales associate, was extremely helpful and even talked me into less which sounds great now. Had to return because my radio burnt out. Chris, the manager, very helpful and sold me a super radio which was on sale. He was able to get it installed in under an hour and also install a bass knob for me. Camera and satellite radio also installed. I will return to this audio express when I need some radio or system help or need to upgrade again. Just ask the questions, they are very willing to help. Horrible service. Super high pressure and when you do decide they will do the install like a 3 year old. Zip tie the alarm siren to some wires instead of taking the 5 extra min to mount it up. And after all of that the electrical system of the car was toast. Had to spend a good amount at a mechanic to have them undo the mess these clowns made. Highly suggest you go somewhere else as I have had much better experiences at Ultimate car and truck. They are a little more expensive but it's well worth not having the hassle. Ended up spending 500 bucks to get the trucks lighting system fixed after they shorted it out. read more

I had a stereo installed on my X Terra vehicle yesterday 09/10/2015 and it sounds awesome. Unfortunately I called the manager Cheech on 09/11/2015 due to extensive other problems with the brake system, and he kindly was able to help me out and remove the stereo which was installed one day ago and install it into another vehicle at a reasonable price. Needing to replace my radio in my 2003 Accord, I went to the Audio Express in Northwest Albuquerque. The installation kit for my vehicle is more expensive than most and this particular kit was problematic, maybe even a "lemon". The staff at Audio Express (particularly Brian) was very helpful and accommodating, eventually replacing the kit with an updated kit that was more expensive, but which works perfectly, at no additional cost to me. I've been to Audio Express on two occasions. The first time was when I bought a used car with a fancy after-market sound/navigation system and alarm system. The friendly guys there helped me figure out how to operate the systems at no charge. Last week I took the vehicle back in because the sound system was not shutting off and was draining my battery. Ive came to audio express twice now and both times I've been treated like family. My most recent visit was for a car alarm which I got a really good price on. I was having some difficulties with my parking lights , for some reason they wouldn't work , I brought it to audio express and right away Cheech and Michael helped me solve the problem. This is my first time going to Audio express right when I walked in they had a awesome selection of speakers, radios, subwoofers, amps so on. Cheech and James were quick and their team,installed my new radio and viper alarm system next day I wanted to change to the remote start with no problem they changed it. Cheech and his crew were the "shit" and I mean that in a good way, they hooked up my 63 impala convertable I've never heard a system sound so crisp and clear even when the top is down.!! These guys are crooks. They are not honest about the price you will have to pay upfront and when you ask them afterwards why you are spending so much they will tell you to "try to have a nice day."
