Second time I took my Lexus to M&M. First time was simple repair (replaced driver's side mirror) and they did a good job although it took longer then they originally said it would. 2nd time, recent experience, I was hit in front quarter panel by electric bike. Over 6K damage. Took 20 days, had tons of reasons why it wouldn't be ready..unusual paint color, was told it was a total (it wasn't) and when I got it back they had obviously driven the car! They hadn't done the extra work (buffing out headlight to match one replaced, we paid for that. I took my fj cruiser to them after being rear-ended. Took them 4 1!2 months to fix it. Everyday a different excuse why it was taking so long. These people were hateful rude and the quality off work was average at best. There were interior parts missing when they said they were done. I had to go back 3 times before I finally got fed up and decided to just never go back. I know that's what they wanted. One last thing. Told by advisor that dealership sent wrong kind of glass for one window and had to reorder. Then told by advisor that it was coming from Dallas. The was told they couldn't overnight due to glass and not wanting it to break. Then told by advisor to call Nissan myself.the get Fed Ex tracking numbers. Talked to salesman at Nissan to find out they Ordered the wrong side of glass. It was coming from Sacramento, CA not Dallas and they could have overnighter it if they wanted to and were told it would take 5-7 days to get here. So M&M body employs liars. Hands down the worst car repair shop in New Mexico, anything from being lied to, longer than expected turn around times, shady business practices, hardly picking up their phones when you call, and no one can hold themselves accountable is what you should expect if you go to M and M. At first they said it'll take a little over a week... two months later I finally get my truck back with new scratches, discolored and rusted parts, a chipped door, scratchy radio (which I had to fix myself), and no work done to my rim. When I went to pick it up I was very disappointed. I had to talk with the owner and he said that he will fix all of the parts that they messed up free of cost to me. Come to find out, they went through my insurance without telling me to fix the problems they created. Had they owned up to their mistakes and actually paid for the replacement parts instead of using my insurance to make even more money, this might have been a different review. They have absolutely no sense of honor or pride in the work they do. Please don't give M and M your business, give it to another shop that will actually care about providing a quality repair. Recommended by Allstate. Made an appointment at 8:00 for estimate when we arrived we were told only Dave can take Allstate and he would be here shortly. Two more Allstate customers came in while we waited. At 8:30 we asked when we might see Dave and Paul jumped in and rudely told us Dave is the only person who can handle Allstate then rudely told us it essentially didn't matter when the appointment was we'd be taken in the Oder we came in. No one knew where Dave was or when he was coming. While we were waiting one customer said he'd been dealing with M&M since August (this was March) and they'd made a mess of his car. UNPROFESSIONAL 0/10 do not recommend. This is the first negative review I have ever left. I am a very patient person. I opted to have M&M do an estimate for me, even though they are outside of the insurance company's network. M&M came family recommended and I (being a local business owner) tend to support local businesses when I can. Paul was very rude on the telephone when I called initially to find out how late I could drop the vehicle off. He would not even let me finish asking the question before interrupting me to ask "when will a Progressive rep be here". I advised him that I did not know (assuming he would know because he just got off of the telephone with the Progressive claims adjuster). After telling him I did not know when a rep would be there he advised me that my vehicle would probably "get lost" if I left it without knowing when a rep would be there. He went around and around and seemed like he was telling me (without telling me) to take my vehicle somewhere else. When I could finally get a couple of words in I once again reminded him that he just got off of the telephone with my claims adjuster and he should know when the rep would be there to go over the vehicle... His response was, oh yeah, I did just talk to them, go ahead and bring it in today! Again I asked the question that I initially called for "how late will you guys be there for me to drop the vehicle off?" "5:00pm" "Great, see you in a bit". I was hesitant to proceed with taking the car to M&M after the conversation, but reminded myself that they came family recommended and maybe the interaction would be better from here. When I arrived to drop the vehicle off I was directed to Paul because it was a Progressive Insurance claim. I introduced myself and expected him to remember me since we had just spoke on the telephone. Immediately: Paul: "When will the rep be here?" Me: "We just had this conversation on the telephone Paul, and you talked to the claims adjuster also" Paul: "Yeah well if you don't know when the rep will be here your car could be just sitting here for days and days" Me: "Yes, you informed me of that when we just spoke on the telephone." At this point I was done. I told Paul if he wanted me to take the vehicle somewhere else to just tell me! None of the other employees cared. I assume that one of the owners Dave was sitting at the desk in front of me also, and he also didn't care. I got rear ended in December, Eminem had done good work on another vehicle that I had needed repaired so I took my new vehicle to them. I did not receive my vehicle back until February, every time I would call nobody would respond, The insurance company was calling with no response to call. When I got my vehicle back it had a dent on the left door which it never had prior to my accident, however Eminem said that it was prior damage and refused to fix it, so I left with my car with a dent that I did not have going into the accident, to the stay or ship to this day my car is not completely repaired. My right rear brake light does not work and my car shake. I have take it back to them and I still have the same problem. read more

The owner of M& M his name is David. David Gonzales is a board member at New Beginning church . I thought I could put my trust in a Christian board member. But I found out different . I had an accident took my car to M& M for repair. They returned it dirty, grease on the door panels on the steering wheel. They left my hood open it was full of dirt. They painted the door the plastic that was taped to door window fell down on the wet paint. Marcos Gonzales the owners son David Gonzales told me it just needed to be washed and his man that have to wash cars was not available. Marcos idea of refusing to repaint there error. This is part of what happened the repairs on the car are another story. I had to take my car to another place to repair there damage to my broken sensor that M& M mechanics did. Dealing with this place was a nightmare. After my car accident my whole front side was smashed in which caused damage to my vehicle. This place not only gave me the run around for months but also wouldn't give me clear information or call me back to tell me about my vehicle at all. This is how I received my car back... it was very poorly done , parts missing, scratches on my grill, my under carriage had pieces hanging. My cars sensor for the temperature outside was not working, my ac/heater was not working when I received my vehicle back. Do not take your car here ever. I was in a fender bender and my insurance offered me a discount if I took my car to M & M Auto Body rather than Nissan for the repairs. While my car was in their possession there was a hail storm which damaged my car. When I returned for my car it was apparent my bumper was still not fixed. I was agitated to receive my car in this condition. Naturally I called and complained, Marcos the body technician, said it would be taken care of. I took my car back in for a second time and they fixed some of the hail damage but no all of it. I had also noticed that one of my windows was no longer tinted, which I never received an explanation for. When I requested for them to fix it Marcos told me that was the best it was going to get and that he got into trouble for fixing it the first time. Again, talking to Marcos he assured me that they would order my parts and call me as soon as they were in. In the better half of a month I still have not received a phone call about my repairs. At this point I am extremely disappointed with the service and decide to call and ask for the a supervisor who assures me that they will take care of my car! I returned with my car for a third time and the owner, David, accused me of wreaking my car in the parking lot which is his way of not taking responsibility for lack of service in repairing my car! M & M Auto Body on Edith should not even be in business. No one working there has any shred of integrity! read more

This business is incredible. I have used them on a number of occasions and each time my vehicle has been professionally repaired at a very reasonable price. There have been a couple of occasions where there was a minor issue when my car was returned. I returned my vehicle to M & M Body and on both occasions the issue was corrected without argument. I wholeheartedly recommend this body shop. The staff is generally excellent, but if you are fortunate you will be assisted by Tim. After much research, I chose to have my car fixed at M and M after an accident that occurred out of state. The driver of the other vehicle was at fault, and so, his insurance was covering damages to my car. The estimator at M and M was aware of this situation, and was given all the information to contact the other driver's insurance to ensure that all damages were covered. Of note, every time I had called M and M to get an update, the first question they ask you is "What insurance is it through?" My vehicle was ready to be picked up; after calling to confirm this fact, I was told that it would be ready within an hour- no other information was given. I was dropped off to pick up my car, only to find out that they would not release my vehicle to me. It turns out that the estimator had not followed up with the other driver's insurance and therefore M and M had not received any confirmation of payment from that insurance company. The estimator admitted to this fact and stated that he was at fault for not following through with the insurance. M and M would not release my vehicle to me without payment. The owner had overheard the conversation and was of no help. He was dismissive, rude, and was unwilling to resolve the payment issue that his employee had admitted fault for. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I was told that "one bad review wouldn't matter." That day I paid for everything in order to have my vehicle released to me as I needed it for transportation. I was disappointed with the poor customer service here and the lack of accountability that the owner had on behalf of his employees. I will not be using this company again in the future nor recommending them to anyone. read more

Rude and disrespectful employee left my van sitting on their property for 2 and half months! I called to check the status and the man said he didn't have it, then put me on hold and then said "oh, you're the one who didn't make an appointment. I have no information on you're van. I will have to contact the insurance and get back to you." He didn't even attempt to check my van for 2 and half months! Worst customer service!!!!! Hot headed and talk over u. Was given a time from 10:30 to 11 to pick up my car. No call ahead to let me know they were running late. Called at 11, was told 10 more mins. Called at 11:20, was told 5 more mins. Then spoke to the owner David who talks over you constantly and said 45 more mins. When i tried to explain my frustrations for wasting my day waiting on them, he told me i need to understand the guy who was supposed to be help, Paul, is overwhelmed with an unexpected large workload. Soon after describing my cars problem to Dave a mechanic was called to the front office to go with me on a test drive to show him first hand what was going on with my car. I left the car thinking it might be a day or 2 before I heard back, but I was very surprised when they called me the same day to tell me my car was ready. My car was backed into on the passenger side front bumper. The other driver was at fault and the normal place I take my car to does not accept their insurance. Dropped my car off on Tuesday at M&M 5/31/22 and then was called on Friday that my car was ready. Went to pick my car up and nothing was repaired to the front bumper, Paul stated that the rear bumper is what they fixed. There was nothing ever wrong with the rear bumper and after arguing Paul, he finally checked the paper work and it was supposed to be the front bumper. They then called me on Tuesday and said that the car would be ready on Wednesday. Wednesday came and it was not ready, finally got a call on Friday that the car was ready. Went to pick up the car and there were scratches and bumps in the paint. Paul said that they would get it fixed and it would be ready on Monday. Monday came and nothing was ready. I had to keep calling every day for an update as they never communicated what was happening. Finally, on Friday 6/17/22 it was ready. A job that was supposed to be 5 days took 3 weeks because of their bad work. I will never come back to this place. read more

We were headed cross country when a part fell off a semi truck right in front of us. It tore up the underside of our van. I was traveling with my 85 year old Dad and getting stuck in any town for an extended period wasn't an option. David went far above and beyond and got us back on the road 48 hours later. I am retired after 35 years in the business and his sheer will made possible something I believed impossible, and something every other place I called said couldn't be done. This company is excellent. I damaged the rear fender and went to the shop on Monday. Marcos immediately estimated the repair costs. I agreed and he ordered the parts that day. They had the paint in stock and received the part that day. Tuesday, they painted the fender. This meant I could use the car instead of leaving it and having someone drive me home and back. Wednesday I drove back and waited all of one hour for the repairs! These people know how to run a business and customer convenience is a priority.
