So I feel compelled to update my review. I went in early this morning to see if service would be any different and actually I was helped out by the general manager. I wanted a double din receiver and I asked the manger to take a look to see if it would fit in my vehicle since they are the experts. He stated...you seen one you seen them all and he concluded it would fit. So I go up to the register to make the appointment and one of the installers comes out to let the manager know that the receiver I wanted would require a ton of extra work or more or less it wouldn't fit unless I was willing to pay a whole day of labor. So that was a waste of time again. I decided to go with a single din receiver but I didn't like the receivers they had. I asked the manager if I was to buy my own receiver how much would it cost me to have them install it. He states $70.00 for a single din receiver. I was like that's it! I told him I recalled it being more in the past. He reassured me it was 70.00. So I said ok and I would be back to make an appointment after I picked up a receiver I wanted. So I went back a few hours later to make the appointment. This time I got one of the installers who was checking me out. After he rang it up he states that the price is 189.00 to install it. I say to him that the manager told me it would cost 70.00 bucks to install the radio so he looks at him with a look like ....Here we go again. Now the General Manager starts to back peddle and says....Well labor is like $110.00 and then parts come up to be like 189.00. I stated you told me $70.00 bucks earlier. He really didn't have an answer for me on that one. I started to google how much it would be for parts to install the receiver I purchased but I didn't have the time to fool around with looking up prices at the time. There was another guy that was getting checked out and I overheard him tell the guy the labor is around 89 bucks. At that moment I started to realize that this place is just pulling numbers out of the air as they go. Look I understand that they are trying to run a business and they need to make a profit as well....my complaint is it needs to be prices listed or they need to be honest up front with prices. Im not trying to get something for nothing and I definitely have the money to pay for it but I feel if your lying to me (like the general manager did) Im going to call you out on it. read more

i came into the store a couple of times just browsing and never got asked any questions about what I'm looking for but preferred it. When I read the installation for $1 advertised I just at the chance and bought a $600 stereo for my car. The gentleman didn't seem dressed as an employee, with a long beard but didn't seem really thrilled at selling anything. After the installation, he gave me all the specs and became quite helpful so thats why I give it a three. If he didn't end up being a nice guy in the end I would've given him a zero but he even told me to review on yelp. So 3 stars. You didn't lose a customer I just don't feel like for paying $600, i get some satisfaction. read more

Purchased a kicker hideaway unit from this shop and had it installed "professionally" by their installer. The sub worked for a few months went in and out a few times I looked but didn't see anything obvious so I didn't think anything of it. After another month or so the sub fully blew. when I had someone look at the issue they said it was due to being improperly installed that the ground wire was never truly grounded they were surprised it ever was able to work. I was told that a ground wire should have a max of 2 ohms resistance ideally 0 when they measured this it was over 174 ohms of resistance. When I called the shop they rudely told me that it was so long ago they don't know what I expect them to do and we're unwilling to help. it was less than a year and I spent thousands of dollars with them. Worst customers service I've dealt with in a very long time. Not trying to give the shop a bad name just stating my experience and how I was treated disrespectfully and how their failed Installation is the direct result of my subs blowing. zack is who I dealt with while purchasing the product and on the phone afterwords to try and resolve the issue. read more

Came in one day to get a car alarm, to take came out to 258 and I got a nice appointment 2 days later. I have dropped the car off at 3 pm and it is now past 7pm and the workers have told me it'll take another 15-20 minutes to get the job done PAST CLOSING HOURS. Atleast the workers had the decency to let me stay indoors after hours while my vehicle was finishing being worked on. Will update once I get car back and see the job they've done (: I recommend looking at all the small taxes and fees this place charges you because I wanted to just get my cars audio wiring and this place wanted to charge me $150 JUST TO RUN WIRE IN MY CAR!!! I HAVE EVERY PART TO THE SYSTEM INCLUDING WIRING. I recommend you get ur deals here and try to rip off the place before it turns out the other way around. read more

Called this location to get a ballpark quote for a backup camera install. The guy threw out a number but added that he would need to see my vehicle before giving a solid quote. I told him I would be there in 10 minutes. I arrive at the store and no one is around and no one greats me, so I stand around for 10 minutes. I finally hear a guy in a side room and ask him if he's who I talked to. He wasn't and said the guy would be back soon. Just then another employee walks in and I ask him if he's the guy I spoke with. He says he is and will be with me after he finishes with his current customer. No problem. However, as I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting, it's clear the current "customer" isn't there to but, he's there to window shop. I'm there to buy and just standing there without any acknowledgement. This goes on another 20 minutes. I think they are about finished and then they start talking about another component of what this guy is window shopping for. That's it. I've had enough, I'm out. I've bought from this place before and didn't have an experience like this, granted there were no other customers there. However, in my book at least a customer that's there to spend money should take priority over a "potential" customer that's there to consider spending money. read more

Went in to have them install a simple rca output for my sub the guy i talked literally didnt listen to 1 word i said and actual put words in my mouth to another employee then tell me that the job will run about 120 then i have to make a appt thats 2 weeks out. So as he is standing there talking his nonsense im googling audio and i go down to DC Sound on sunset n boulder great guys knew exactly what i wanted and did it for 75 and in 45 mins. Yes same day.
