Thank you AudioHouse for the Hardware. Big fan of the Phoenix gold products and bought the subwoofer with the led insignia last year. And boy it bumps with crisp high end quality. This year had an extra subwoofer so went in to install it and found my JL w3 was blown. Sure enough found my self back at Jag's Audio House. Phoenix Gold got bought out by AAMP Global and unfortunately a few of the products like the one below were back ordered. AudioControl was a brand I knew nothing about but Jag continuously tried to sell me this item. He put the pressure on (even though he says he doesn't). I caved and picked one up. It was the AudioControl 10 inch 4 ohm Spike Series subwoofer. Hooked it up and prepared myself for some mediocre sound. Never have I been that wrong. It BUMPS with its own unique characteristics. Tried to find a silver lining--any lining-- pulling this review up from a 1 star, but am unable. I detest leaving bad reviews, but cannot recommend this business, nor ignore a head's up for others. Originally spoke by phone to a cordial gent named Jack--about the only positive thing to the experience--who seemed to pass as the owner or manager of the shop. Told him I needed a Viper alarm installed on an older restored classic car. He provided a date, 2 days subsequent, which landed on a Friday. Told him yes, but I had to work a double-shift later that day. He said no problem, get here when we open (9am) and we'll have you out around noon. Friday rolls, and I'm there before the shop opens waiting. Immediately noticed an oversized truck, later learned as the owner's that is obnoxiously blocking the entrance doors; parked like literally an inch from the glass and taking up more than 1 spot of the very small parking area reserved for customers. Truck was creating a headache for early-arriving patrons trying to access the business. Upon opening, spoke with two different female receptionists who were juggling duties and having some computer issues. Finally got checked in and confirmed the narrow time constraints I was dealing with and the completion parameters agreed to previously with Jack. Ladies said they'd put me first of the line. 10:45 rolls around, nearly 2 hours after my arrival and I see my car hasn't moved an inch. Asked at this point what's up, and the ladies say Oh, we can't honor the time completion pledge. Says that Viper alarms take a long time to install and the very earliest they could complete it was at 1:30 now. Asked if I wished to reschedule after wasting a good chunk of everyone's time. No thanks. Gonna find a different shop now. And aside from this communication mishap, plus the nearly impossible parking situation for customers, there was at least 1 other customer that was calling back to complain about a recent botched install. Finally, like adding injury to insult in this cartoon-like chaos, throw in a day-laborer guy hired to strip stucco & dry-wall from the shop with a power saw at ear-splitting levels around customers...and this appointment quickly turned epic fail. Couldn't make this all up if I tried. The biggest overall grievance in my book was the business booking wayyy too many appointments and walk-in's for the amount of installers available coupled with unrealistic pledges on completion times. This shows a lack of consideration & respect for the customer's time & business. Back to the drawing board looking for someone else to do the job unfortunately. In an odd way, I'm glad they never touched my car, because trying to fix issues after the fact would've presented an even bigger incomprehensible nightmare. read more

I went to Audio House for there annual Black Friday sale. They had many great deals, but I saw a 4 channel Rockford amp on a deal so I purchased it and made an appointment for installation. When I came back for my install on 12/13 I was helped by Jag up front. HE sold me the proper wires and during the install we found out my old stereo only had one RCA preout for the amp. Jag was kind enough to get me a kenwood apple car play stereo at his Black Friday deal even though Black Friday passed. He also installed it for us since one of his clients decided not to install a subwoofer in there pro master. I will come back here for more products in the future. Jag and his crew are TOP NOTCH. Be very careful when buying a Groupon to have your vehicle tinted by Audio house . Their Groupon window tinting special does not cover the front side windows of any vehicle. The window tint service utilizing Solar Gard Quantum HP on my Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG came out phenomenal. However my flat tire repair kit was stolen out of the trunk while in possession of this establishment. This should raise an alarm of the kind of business practices that occur at this establishment. I would be VERY cautious. AMERICAN CONSUMERS have the right to do be LEERY. I waited until the perfect time to report on this. NOW MORE THAN EVER is the correct time to scope these guys out. Took my car to have a new stereo installed, it worked good for a while, the I wouldn't have any sound, they told me it because of the speakers, installed new speakers, and it was the same, and to make it work when I took it to the shop, he would wiggle some wires, to make it work, for a day or two, did this a few times, finally stopped going to the shop, and still my radio does not work!!! read more

Jag is the goat. I needed to get my radio replaced because it was shorting out. He was able to give me an honest quote, and ran through the different types of radios I could chose from. We settled on a radio, and his guys installed it no problem. I'm BEYOND HAPPY and they were able to get the steering wheel audio controls to work as well even though Jag said it wasn't a guarantee. The guys who fix cars here are the friendliest, and Jag is always running around trying to get everyone serviced and happy. I took my car at 12:00 p.m., by 5 pm I had not heard from them with an update/estimate, so I decided to call. Whoever answered my call didn't have an answer and said the my car hadn't been checked and that he would be giving me a call in 30 min. At 6 pm no one had called me so I decided to go in person. I waited 30 min in the store all for the owner telling me that the guy who checked my car wasn't there anymore and that i needed to come back tomorrow. I got upset as I had been waiting all day. The owner was rude and told me to take my car somewhere else and called me a Karen all because I let him know that it was not okay what they were doing to me and that I had waited all day for nothing. I had already heard from one of his formers clients of Audio house that they lack of professionalism and their terrible customer service. This is my response to the owners reply: you're playing Mr. Nice polite guy on this yelp review, but in reality you were arrogant and treated me disrespectful therefore I defended myself. You keep saying that I came when you were closed already, so why did you have 4 other customers and allowed me to come in and asked me to wait?? I came to your shop since no one called with any update. You called me names, I defended myself. And by the way, the only children there was my son who witnessed your aggressive behavior towards me. I understand that you took my car despite of my appointment being scheduled for tomorrow, thank you, but that doesn't give you permission to treat me the way you did. The manager Jag was rude, condescending and unprofessional. Absolutely unacceptable service. Booked me for a 2hour service and kept my car for two days! I had an appointment at 9:30am Thursday. When I came into the shop I was not greeted nor acknowledged by the lady working the front counter. After standing there awkwardly for a few minutes I told her I had an appointment and I left my keys. I was told it would be finished after noon and they would call me. I walked around downtown Napa to pass time and 4 hours later still no call. I returned to the shop only to find out my car had yet to be worked on. At this point the owner Jag told me there was an issue with the part and that he was on the phone contacting a third party. He told me about an hour later he had fixed the issue but he would not be able to finish the installation until the next day and if I could leave my car overnight. This was supposed to be a 2hour max service. At this point I agreed and he said I could pick it up Saturday. That is not overnight. That is two whole days, pick up on the third day... I had to pay unnecessary additional expenses to get an Uber back to my house which was not in town. Saturday came and I had contacted the third party and they said the shop had never contacted them with any sort of issue and they had no idea why he made me leave my car with them... I had to send my mom to the shop because I was out of town. She had to take the bus since she was picking up my car, arrived at 1pm to find out the car has STILL not been worked on. She waited until the shop closed at 6pm, hungry and tired because she assumed after two days of them "working on it" it would be a quick pick up. When my mom voiced her frustration Jag was very condescending and rude and replied that he did not need our appointment because his business was doing so well and instead of apologizing for all the inconvenience he caused, he blamed my mom. It is the ill-mannered way he spoke to my mom that makes me feel sick. Know how to speak to a client and a woman. I do not support disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. Be a man and own up to your mistakes instead of shifting the blame to the client. He made her pay for the service which was never fully completed because of another missing part they happened to not even have at their shop. Another inconvenience to have to come all the way back again once it arrived. Why take the appointment when you know you can not fulfill the service? I was not even going to right a review because I was just so over it to be honest. However, I recently just got a call that the installation was done wrong so I will be having to go out of my way to get it redone (obviously elsewhere). This place is unprofessional, it's always excuse after excuse. You will walk into the shop and hear the same story being told to another customer. The staff is rude and entering the shop gives me anxiety. read more

I quickly learned that you need a near encyclopedic knowledge of both products and installation considerations for each vehicle you're looking at. Jag spent over an hour helping me choose the best options within my budget to upgrade my sound and add a dashcam system to my new 2023 4Runner. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE BLACK. DO NOT PURCHASE THE GROUPON DEAL. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I got the groupon deal for a two door car tinting. It states on the deal that the front windows aren't included. The owner tried to convince me that my car wouldn't look right with just the back windows tinted( basically he didn't want to tint the windows I paid for on Groupon.) He asked me in a few different ways if I was to pay $90 for each window that wasn't included. I kept telling him no. I mean why would I show up to get more then what I had already paid for ?? He could've asked well do you wanna reschedule and do the rest another day but nope. He had a stank attitude and sarcastically says "have a nice day. " basically telling me to gtfo. His waiting area is hella tiny anyways. No where to park. Unprofessional. With all the money he get out of people he needs to invest in a bigger area with parking and a waiting area. When install was complete , the owner, Jag, demanded $300 more than the price agreed upon in writing.... claiming the (now fired) sales rep failed to add adequate charges for installation and he needed to "feed his family." When I refused to pay more than contracted price, Jag refused to give me my keys and threated to remove the newly installed stero from my truck.. requiring me to wait another 5 hours and leaving a hole in my dash.
