Actually the cameras are once again not recording playback video. After Charles brought the NVR…read moreback yesterday 11/23 it recorded playback videos for half a day. It's not seeing the HDD again when Charles explicitly told me he replaced the HDD with a brand new one. It's not recording and saving any playback videos again. See attached screenshots I used Charles to install my security cameras at my house. I don't know about $3000 for the equipment and including labor about a month or two, and I noticed that the video was not recording with sound and Charles did not know how to troubleshoot this he had to troubleshoot it with Lino Vision where he bought the equipment. Since I was not getting the resolution quick enough going through Charles Contact, Liono Vision, myself and resolved the issue. On top of that when I asked Charles if he did this for a living, he said yes I thought he owned the company and he did it full-time with his company. He actually works for another media company and does this on the side so that was a red flag issue right there? Less than a year later, I've noticed that my playback video actually wasn't there. I'm getting an error code and went into the configuration and the NVR is now stating it's not seeing a recognizing a hard drive. Once again, I contacted Lino vision support they promoted into my computer and using the web interface of the NVR as I showed them. The hard drive is not being recognized NVR's use a mechanical hard drive so it's probably failed. They won't warranty it because they said that the company who bought the equipment submitted that they returned the NVR and all equipment to them, so I'm not sure what Charles is playing with the wholesaler that he buys the equipment from. But none of my equipment will be warranted because the manufacturer where the wholesaler shows that the equipment as returned and I showed them the bill of sale and the invoice and I said no it's not. They said I need to take it up with Charles. Needless to say I'm sure I won't get anywhere with him.

They did a beautiful job! Johann answered all my questions from start to finish, explained things in a way that made sense to a non-tech person, and never made me feel stupid for all my questions. I had purchased the wrong equipment, wired my house wrong, and installed a versa box which left a hole in my fireplace (all because Tollbrothers had rushed me through the process or frankly gave me the wrong info to start). Johann never acted frustrated that he was dealing with a less than ideal situation. He never showed frustration with the situation, but simply offered me astute work-arounds and solutions. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work and his craft. You can tell he truly enjoys finding solutions and making customers happy. Moreover, it was obvious that Johann takes great pride in the incredible team he has built. Communication between him and all his team members was seamless. Absolutely DO NOT go to Star Power, DO NOT!…read more Marc Block, manager, poor customer service. Built new home. Spent $60K on appliances. Example with $3.5K Napoleon grill. Marc recommended despite not being familiar with the product, which he eventually admitted to me. Great feeling. He helped design the outdoor kitchen so understood it was permanent and natural gas. Regardless, sold me propane so it doesn't work. My outdoor kitchen including masonry and taj mahal countertops was custom made to fit the specific Napoleon grill so expensive to switch and redo. It took 4-6 weeks between Napoleon and Marc to understand it was propane and needed a regulator. Still didn't work. I repeatedly requested a Napoleon rep come service the grill. No service and Marc simply referred me to Napoleon's national call center. Took another 4-6 weeks to finally learn from Napoleon, not Marc, that he sold me propane and therefore I also needed a conversion kit from propane to natural gas; AND if it had been natural gas, I wouldn't need the regulator or the conversion kit. Napoleon refused to sell me the conversion kit. Instead of doing the RIGHT THING and replacing the grill with natural gas, Star Power graciously offered to provide me the $26 conversion kit. I declined. After 3 more weeks of endlessly calling a number of diamond dealers, I still don't have a conversion kit. I'm done with Star Power and Napoleon! We just moved into our new home, and it's been 3 months and I still don't have grill. Absolutely Pathetic! Won't bother the other problems.
