Project: Install or Replace Antenna I was told $199 for the first hour for the installation of antenna. I had dish already installed and it should be no more than 1 hour. They were supposed to visit between 7:30-8:30. They arrived at 8:30. I showed them 2 tv's that are connected and the antenna. I was told the antenna needed power so I gave them extension chord. They were done in 1 hr. After install was done tech checked for channels without disconnecting dish. I needed to baby sit these so-called professionals. One tech decided to add height to antenna and to make a LONG story short, finished in 3 hours. He did not get additional channels from more height. After this was done I took them to second home for antenna install and they finished in 1 hour. Who gets charged 3 hours from a simple antenna install? read more

Audio Video Technologies (AVT) was hired to purchase and install a whole house, indoor and outdoor, multi-zoned entertainment experience. Although AVT was not the lowest estimate we received, we went with AVT because Mr. McCoy (owner) was so knowledgeable and assured complete satisfaction. Along the way, there were hiccups with delivery due to the COVID virus as entertainment components were scarce and unattainable. AVT found one of the major components we needed that was due to arrive at a vendor located in Phoenix, AVT made arrangements to secure that one unit for our project. After all other ordered components had arrived, our installation took place with ease. We now have a state-of-the-art entertainment system and we could not be happier. I would highly recommend Audio Video Technologies for your complex audio/video needs. I plan to use AVT again in a couple of years when we re-model our SaddleBrooke home. read more

Hired Audio Video Technologies two months to wire my home entertainment system. After the installers left the home, we realized the rear speaker were not functioning. Additionally, the installer spliced 10 gauge speaker wire with 18 gauge wire and taped the splice into a fat ball of electrical tape. Very unprofessional. Multiple calls were made to the management about the non functioning rear speakers...no answer for days. Finally I had an opportunity to speak with the management after another installation company came and fixed Audio Video Technologies mistakes. The management was argumentative, and cared little about our feedback. Audio Video Technologies failed to honor their "True Blue Service Guarantee". i recently had a custom home built, the contractor used this company to prewire my house for surround sound etc... so when the house was completed i got their names from the contractor, and figured i would use them to install the completion phase of the project of installing the tv, the speakers, the wifi extender etc.. the total came to bout 6,000.. the owner wayne is a great communicator when it comes to collecting the check... once he gets the check you dont hear from him, so anyway, they came to install all the items, they ran into a problem, one of the wires they installed came disconnected in the wall, so they cut across my living room wall to install a new wire, i was not happy as you could understand, the house is brand new( owner says its not his responsibility to fix the wall) now i have to get the wall fixed...... then the receiver they gave me was bad, had to wait weeks to get a new one, no word from the owner, i had to call him.. funny thing is, when i called him, he says... ohhh it just arrived lol....... then the tech had told the owner that another wire was disconnected somewhere so the volumn controls didnt work...but the owner pulled them off the site cause he knew i was not gonna be happy... so now i had to wait another month to get them back out to look at it... i was told that they could not put off their big accounts to fix my issue.. at this point im pissed off... so they csme up with a wireless solution to install a box in my master bedroom to communicate to my receiver, (i was not gonna let them cut another wall) soooo i waited bout a month for this item, so i finally called, several times, no respponse, and hes always on vacation which is bs.. but anyway got ahold of him, he says it just came in.. lol.. sound familiar... but its damaged i have to send it back...another 2 weeks go by... i call.... oh it just came in lol.... they come out set it all up... and tell us we have too many networks and its out of their control......and left my wife says why didnt they just plug it in to the wall and then to the router,,,, we have a central panel for that... i said idk..... called another company... they came out literally took them 15 minutes to crimp an end on a cable.. plug it in and everything works lol..... i could not believe it... this whole process ihas been goin on with this company for about 6 months.... just for surround sound.... im not a big review person but this was blatant disrespect to a client that spent a pretty good amount of money for a good service.... and i was treated pretty crappy so i will post this review on every review site in tucson to prevent someone else from this headache....my wife and i took alot of time out of our busy lives to meet people that cancel at the last minute, very frustrating... and they also do central vac systems, and i had them re do the pipes for that because the guy installing them had no clue on what he was doin,,, they had to cut the ceiling to fix a pipe that was disconnected... hope this helps some of the tucson crowd from making a bad decision..i wish i would of read reviews before hiring them read more

Very nice on initial phone call. Despite spending time on phone and in-person review, quote was not as discussed and multiple emails requesting clarification/correction resulted in zero reply. Guess my job wasn't big enough to bother even communicating. Would not recommend as follow up in quoting process was not good. I wanted to get away from cable TV and hired Audio Visual Technologies to install an antenna. While the installers were friendly, they came without any coaxial cable and had to splice many pieces together of the old cable. After installation, one of the major network channels (KVOA Channel 4) would not come in. The installation crew called the owner Wayne McCoy and he explained to me that something else was broadcasting on almost the same frequency as KVOA and that was the reason. I persisted in getting the crew to tweak the antenna and we finally got reception. However, we did not get Fox (11) or 18. I tried to call Mr. McCoy several times but he never returned my calls. I went to Best Buy and purchased another antenna for $89.00 and installed it myself. Now I get all the channels I wanted as well as several others I was not aware of (twice as many as with the antenna furnished by Audio Visual Technologies. I would steer clear of this company. Very nice up front, but cut off communication once they have your money. read more
