Love this store. They have a ton of great audio equipment to demo and helpful staff members. Listening to a product on your own is worth 1,000 online reviews. I have purchased headphones, IEMs, and Dac/Amps from Audio46. Each time, I went in expecting to buy a specific product but after demoing and hearing the staff's recommendations I walked out with something I liked even better. That said, they do not try to upsell. For example, they suggested the ifi hip dac when I was purchasing a dac/amp for the first time, and the chord mojo 2 over the higher priced hugo 2, even though I was open to either. read more

Very disappointed in this place - I'd hesitate ever recommending Audio46 to anyone. To preface this review, I don't know much about the audio world at all, however this caveat doesn't change the overall nature of this review. I originally went in looking to purchase a portable amplifier capabpe of pushing 1w - I explicitly told this to (Presumably) the short, Indian owner. He comes back with a chord mojo 2, which I said wasn't what I was looking for. He insisted I try it - I did - and was not impressed. I was looking to maximize the "subwoofer-capability" of my headphones regardless of how "muddy" it sounds (sz2000) -- this was ignored until the owner finally said "we restock in a week-come back then". Before I was about to leave, a fat male in his 30s comes out, again, trying to convince me to get the mojo. He shows me tidal and uapp, stating that "poweramp sucks and is a thing of the past", or something of this nature. A unsolicited, and quite frankly, rude, comment. Now, before both the owner and this man touch my headphones, I tell them to "BE CAREFUL WITH THE HINGES" as they're prone to failure. The owner heeds this advice, however the other clerk aggressively readjusted my earpads, telling me they were on incorrectly. I again tell him to stop being rough, but he ignores this request, acting I personally offended him with my dismissal of the Mojo. The owner even notices this guy's negligence and tells him to knock it off but the damage was already done. After leaving this store, I am left with a loose, ill-fitting earpads, a slightly-bent hinge, and a fear of revisiting this store let alone ANY headphone "specialty store" (knock on wood, this was my first ever experience in such a place). Beware. Any audio equipment that you bring in is at risk, especially in the hands of the heavyset clerk with the mustache. read more

Over time I've made a number of online purchases from Audio46 website. Never had any issues, so I've not had to conact their customer service people. Though I imagine they be as thoroughly helpful as complete their website. Product descriptions always 100% accurate never misleading. Shipping ? Always on its way quickly. The package arrived on time and was carefully delivered. However, I want to return the product because I didn't like it as much as I thought I would when it arrived. I emailed Audio46 in under a week from receiving the product. They said gave me an automated reply saying that they would respond within 24 hours. It's now been 4 days and still no reply. If you are unsure about a product in hopes to return it. Don't purchase from Audio 46. Open box microphone was completely dead. Returned it a week ago. Still no credit for it. The Westone in ears are satisfactory but the wires are no good. Again, 2 things that seem pre-owned/used, not open box. When I made my case to the sales team to give me westone replacement wire, ignored response. Not very good service, in my opinion. Bought the XL earbuds tips to go with my Pixel Buds 2 (They had been falling out to easily with size L). They were large enough to fix the problem but not so large as to interfere with charging in the case. Getting the tips on took a couple tries, but once they were on, they fit snuggly and I don't expect them to come off by accident. read more

weird experience. Came in looking for a modern replacement for my old sennheiser px-100s and was prepared to get a new pair of sennheiser HD25s. Guy at the desk refused to show me any sennheisers, but immediately tried to push some 2x expensive beyerdynamic wireless aventhos. When I explained I wanted wired headphones he got dismissive, and then got really snooty when my slightly out of date phone didn't have usb c so he couldn't demo the wireless headphones I didn't want, and then he just threw up his hands.
