First interaction with Audio guys started with an email. After confirming they were an authorized dealer for the products I wanted, I went ahead and pulled the trigger to have an install done by them. Now, I would say I'm not your typical car audio customer, generally I do my installs myself. And have not paid someone to do an install in 12 years. But I'm at the point in my life where I don't have the free time like I used to. And honestly for the amount of money that I was putting into this stereo, I wanted everything done right and Steve and his installer Ian did just that. They solder connections instead of wire caps or butt connectors, they used copper ring terminals as opposed to brass ones, they used split wire loom to make it look factory as opposed to leaving the wire exposed. They use true AWG copper wire, not cheap knock off CCA wire.They do everything your suppose to do when building a quality system. This is all important to me because it all matters when you're putting together a SQ system! There pricing for the products I bought through them were great. Now, could I have bought everything online and just brought it in for them to install, yes, but I wouldn't be getting a warranty with my products. And if something went wrong with the product, that's on me. I had an aftermarket auto start put in at the dealership when I bought my car a few years ago. The problem was I had to use 2 separate remotes. 1 for the auto start and 1 for locking and unlocking my car. The HUGE problem was that once the auto start was engaged, the only was to open my car was WITH THE KEY (and on my car that is only on the drivers door) WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT! (not to mention a safety issue walking to my car alone after work and having to fumble with the key in the dark!) I actually avoided using the auto start just because of that. I figured there was nothing that could be done. BOY WAS I WRONG! While waiting for my car to be detailed at the attached $3 car wash, I taked to Steve and he explained what he would do and gave me an EXCELLENT price. Steve and Danny were great. I reached out to Steve a week before I purchased my new truck/RV. He basically worked up an invoice given what we spoke about and costing. When I got the RV/truck to him he was able to tweak the request and he was able to get the whole install completed a day before I needed it. wow what an amazing start to finish experience. Danny was amazing on the install and the space was so clean upon completion which is important to me. Upon pickup we discussed getting new LED lights installed. Steve and his crew were able to install a backup camera in my BMW that works great! I had purchased the camera in advance knowing that the options in a BMW are limited and it's easier to get it wrong than to get it right. It turned out to be a rather complicated process with Steve needing to be on the phone with a company in Dubai, while installing software to the car etc. Despite the install being a bigger ordeal than initially expected, Steve was able to get it figured out and working as intended...and he didn't need me to offer my soul in exchange. I have a used conversion van that I purchased a couple years ago. The dealer in Ohio had a contractor install an aftermarket radio. Much to our chagrin, we found the contractor had miswired the unit, leaving us with limited access to its Bluetooth capabilities. I contacted Steve at AudioGuys for a repair appointment. Called around and read the reviews when choosing a place to have my after market remote starter installed on my car. Let me say that Audio Guys lived up to the reviews I read. Very polite and fair pricing and fast, I was told it would take about 6 hours to install the system and it only took about two and a half and when they were done with the exception of the new remote you could not even tell anything had been done. I would recommend Audio Guys to anyone looking for this for their own vehicle. and I would definitely use them again for my own vehicles. My vehicle came with an auto start from the people that previously owned it. Needless to say those people put it on themselves and did a poor job, using bread ties to hold it in place. I've got a 2019 F-150 crew cab that had stock radio and it was just too quiet and awful sounding. I told Steve I have little knowledge and want a nice sounding radio. I chose the head unit and he picked what I needed to make the rest sound great. I did have to do anything except pay and the truck sounds excellent. no complaints. He has you pay for the equipment up front because why should he have to cover anyone's system at any point of the work, and he s not up charging any of the equipment either. I went in with a head unit not receiving power, I tried checking out the issue myself and unable to diagnose the issue. They took my truck in within an hour of contacting them and got me out of there within 30 minutes of getting there. They exceeded my expectations, they didn't tell me anything they weren't going to be able to do, nothing shady or unprofessional. They got in, found the problem fixed it and got me out. These guys are pretty good. Ian got my remote start fixed and after all these years I finally got rid of the crummy Subaru factory radio and had audio guys install for a small fee. Ian was able to retain steering wheel controls and now the car has an audio system as it should be. I recently purchased a vehicle that had an alarm installed. I'm not big on alarms since I park in a garage and don't like the automatic lock that it came with.
