I see it on my drive to and from work every day from the 805. it looks amazing although i had sentimental attachment to the Murph/Q. it seems that most of the stadium has a great view. the food venues are on point ...seems like they are doing was Petco park does and feature local spots. it was a hot day...we found an area that was breezy to cool off...wish there were indoor AC spaces to cool off in. the dirt lot is gross...seems like a garage is getting put in...that would improve the parking situation. read more

Do you like pointless long lines and mismanaged parking logistics with apathetic and incompetent staff? Having your Apple Maps tell you that you'll get there with an hour to spare, but then sitting in one confusing line to park along with thousands of other anticipatory souls and arriving well after kickoff? Or paying for parking spaces that DON'T EXIST (along with dozens if not hundreds of other people)? Then Snapdragon stadium is for you! Coming from LA I did not think that this number of cars in high and dense proximity to each other could bother me. How wrong my sweet and innocent mind was. We were here for a League Cup game; again innocently thinking that we could manage driving here and then paying some understandably exorbitant parking fee - but hopefully at least getting what we paid for. But there were NO REMAINING PARKING SPACES for us and dozens others despite being charged $55 by a living and breathing person at the front of the lot. Then be prepared to wait 30-45 min once you end up double parking and find your car after the game and miserably attempt to leave. The process for cars to leave is a free-for-all taken straight from Chaotica: Frenzy at the Border. How hard is it to have an automated system that doesn't allow additional (paying) cars in after a clear cap is set? The "yellow" parking lot is an absolute disaster. I don't know what seventh circle of hell this management is from (or going to). Admissions/ticketing process is also a nightmare. More lines that snake around erratically. Food here is ok and decent-ish alcohol selections. Better food at BMO and SoFi; sorry...! TAKE THE TRAIN OR TROLLEY if you can. Or, be a cowboy and forge your own parking space situation and exit strategy. read more

This past Saturday 8/01/26 we went to see Zach Bryan at the Snapdragon stadium. Right when the first opener started we decided to grab something to eat real quick and on our way there we were stopped at the bottom of the stairs of section 212. We were waiting there for about 15+ minutes for a supervisor to come talk to us and as we were waiting we were slowly surrounded by security. Two members of security approached us aggressively, demanded our IDs, took down our information then proceeded to blatantly accuse us of underage drinking and sexual misconduct. The underage drinking was dropped because it was clearly impossible to buy drinks at a venue that requires an ID and we are not 21. We bought 2 strawberry lemonades, the alcohol in question. We questioned the security guards about the supposed sexual misconduct that we displayed and they proceeded to give no information. We asked to speak to the head of security at Snapdragon stadium to see the footage of what we were being accused of. We were denied, taken to the gates and essentially escorted out; while also being surrounded by security. We were also told that if we didn't leave, the situation would be escalated, the police would be involved and we would be charged. The supposed sexual misconduct was my boyfriend standing in-front of me to block the sun and then later itching his private area which happened to be right in front of me because he was hot and uncomfortable, which is a perfectly natural thing to do. We were recorded by 2 individuals somewhere around us and they took that to security saying we were doing something inappropriate. Before we were fully taken outside of the gates, the two security guards and the remaining security guards surrounding us, were stopped. The two security guards that stopped us earlier were pulled to the side by the actual Snapdragon security. We were then told they would actually start an investigation on the report, we proceeded to wait around again for another 30-45 minutes. While waiting we were then surrounded by police officers. We had both security and police officers around us for something they hadn't even investigated yet. We missed the entire first opening act and majority of the second one. The two security guards that had previously approached us started to relax and realized we didn't do anything. They were poorly and severely misinformed by Snapdragon considering they had no idea what exactly was going on. That was expressed to us a few different times. We were approached by a blonde woman who said she was head of security and explained what she had received and after the investigation, which should've been done in the first place. She saw that we did nothing wrong and said we were good to go back to our seats. As soon as she finished her sentence she was pulled to the side by another member of the Snapdragon security and shortly after they both came over to speak with us. The man that pulled her aside was pretty aggressive towards us and stated the same thing that the lady said and that we were good to go back to our seats This concert was a celebration of our anniversary. It was an anniversary gift to us and we were both very excited. No investigation was done prior to them escorting us out. They finally did the investigation because we were so adamant about seeing the proof of the misconduct. The security guards overheard the Snapdragon security discussing how we wouldn't admit to anything. Why would we admit to something we didn't do and they have no proof of us doing. The whole situation was handled unprofessionally and very poorly. We also didn't receive an apology which should have been the bare minimum, we were still continued to be treated aggressively although we were proven innocent after the fact. We understand that we are just two people and it won't make a difference but we will not be returning to this stadium. read more

Came back here for a soccer game. It was my first and most likely my last soccer game lol. This just isn't for me to watch in person, I'd rather watch soccer at a sports bar, and closer shots just make it better for me. Overall I love this stadium! It's always a great time here regardless of what's playing, it's always a great night on the town haha. Loved my cotton candy lol. The good options here are good as well. My friend and I came here for the K-Pop group Enhypen's first performance in San Diego! I was a little worried initially since this was also my first time at Snapdragon Stadium, and knew there was still quite a bit of construction going on. Parking wasn't too bad, it was definitely convenient buying parking in advance so we could just scan and go to park. Unfortunately be ready to go get your car washed after because the lots are extremely dusty and unpaved. They did have water truck try to help reduce the dust but it wasn't much help. The stadium inside was very clean, crowded with the number of people, but that's expected. Restroom facilities were very clean and all the bar staff extremely pleasant to chat with. Finding our seats was easy and we had a great view of the stage. Weather was perfect, the group was amazing, and the whole night was an experience! Looking forward to my next visit here read more

I love going to Snapdragon for a Wave game! The staff has always been respectable and nice. Parking and the food is expensive, so I would recommend taking the trolley and checking their food policy beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions. During wave games, it's never too crowded! I was excited to hit up the San Diego wave game. It was a treat to watch rose lavelle play (altho on the opposing team). Parking is easy altho unnecessarily expensive given how empty the stadium was. I was also bummed how pricey the game tickets were despite it being a poorly attended game. More disappointing is that I learned Alex Morgan was in attendance when we went home :( There was no food. The line for $1 hot dogs were ridiculously. There were no hot dogs or frozen bananas anywhere. It was hot hot hot and the seats are uncomfortable. Happy to have tried it once. The stadium itself seemed to have plenty of entry spots and exits so crowding didn't happen. There was plenty of security and law enforcement around. There were plenty of restrooms as well...more beer than food options haha. The stadium does have an unfinished feel to it but overall it's not a bad venue. Not one of my favorite venues in SD. We're here for Monster Jam, and occasionally another event like a concert. Whoever designed this had never been to a sporting event or concert before. If it's hot there's no sun protection at all, and if it rains you're gonna get wet. The only protected places are private suites, the Pepsi Zone, and the Zoo-sponsored cafeteria. Food is pretty good, if on the pricey side. If you're not a fan of Pepsi, head to Crack Shack because they serve Batch soda. You can bring in a sealed water bottle, if you want to save on drinks. Other downside is parking. Pay ahead of time online for your specific day, it will save you a few dollars. There is a handicap lot at the North end of the stadium for ease of entry. Just expect it to take a while to get out of the area after an event. read more

Another fun night at SnapDragon! San Diego FC made an epic comeback to win 4-1 after being down 0-1 at halftime. I predicted a 4-1 Final Score and was spot on with the outcome! Getting in and out was a cinch. Easy parking, amazing seats and overall a perfect night. An Alex Morgan lookalike was seated next to me too... I love this stadium although I wish parking was organized better. I purchased parking ahead of time and the lots were not labeled. Trying to get out is also an unorganized mess and took a good 40 minutes to get out of. This stadium is a perfect place to see Events. We attended the Monster Jam 2026 event along with the Pit pass event- best performances ever! They also have plenty of security and staff around. They have a fair amount of vendors. You can get anything from salads to Mexican food to pizza. Plenty of junk food available as well as hard liquor. Food is definitely pricey. We love the merchandise stands, they sell shirts, hats, blankets, monster truck toys and more. We will definitely be back except we will take an uber next time. read more

Throughout the construction of this stadium, I got to watch it all be built from a literal dirt field to what it's become now. While we've questioned some of the choices along the way, it's overall a solid addition to the Mission Valley neighborhood. This is the home stadium for SDSU's football team as well as San Diego FC and the San Diego Wave. Evening sports games are lovely, but day time games are rough with zero shade available in the stadium. As you likely saw by the news on its opening day, it was kind of a mess, so I'd avoid daytime attendance here. They have a great variety of local vendors. As you walk around, you'll see so many familiar spots serving up food to give a true San Diego experience. Because the majority of vendors are on the first floor, the concourses can get pretty packed. One benefit is that there is tons of parking available or you can use the trolley to get here. Of course, you have to pay, but it's nice that it's available and isn't too hard to get in and out of the area. Outside of games within the stadium, they also hold concerts there both within the stadium and in the grassy fields on the outside. I've attended a musical festival in Thrive Park and it was really enjoyable! Amazing venue overall! read more

On the other side the stadium has been the location for the Monster Trucks and the San State University Football games. With the many events thst are overseen by the company that oversees the ticket prices for the stadium has been by companys to be sold the student store has been kept closed. We arrived to our event (San Diego FC ) shortly after kickoff but we were able to see the show kickoff fireworks as we weee coming in. Parking was a little rough. You can either pay $55 for dirt road parking or we noticed some people weee desperate to find spots and started parking in the roundabouts. It made for an interesting drive home to get through those roundabouts very carefully. Security was a breeze because we only had our phones. Highly suggest to avoid bringing valuables. Worst experience I've ever had getting into a stadium went to the friendly match for the World Cup and I waited in line for two hours to get into the stadium missing half the game. I was in line an hour before the game started thinking it would be plenty of time to get in yet they closed majority of the gate and only left to open. They did not have any rhyme or reason that they shared with us and really did not make the experience fun. I spent all this money on tickets that I didn't even get to see how the game even though it was a very prompt in Early to be honest, I probably will never go back from this experience because they will not refund even partially even though it was clearest day snapdragon's fault. read more

Parking $50 minimum Food RIP OFF Snapdragon Stadium should be one of the best places in San Diego to watch soccer. The stadium itself is beautiful. The grounds, surrounding park areas, and overall design are fantastic. The seating is great, the sightlines are excellent, and the atmosphere during a San Diego FC match is genuinely fun. The fans bring energy and the venue has all the ingredients to be a top-tier experience. Unfortunately, the entire experience gets ruined by the absolutely outrageous cost of food, drinks, and parking. This is an MLS game, not the Super Bowl. Yet the prices inside the stadium make it feel like you're attending a once-in-a-lifetime championship event. If you're trying to build a strong fan base, especially among families, this pricing strategy makes absolutely no sense. A family should not feel like they're taking out a second mortgage just to buy a couple hot dogs and drinks during a regular weekend match. The result is obvious when you look around the stadium -- there are empty seats everywhere. This place should be packed and turning people away. Instead, many fans simply choose not to come because the basics are priced so ridiculously high. Parking is another problem entirely. The contract must of been one of those Godfather signatures, "They were made an offer they couldn't refuse," because the prices are completely out of control, and the way it's communicated is even worse. There is almost no clear signage anywhere directing you to lots or showing prices ahead of time. You either have to look it up online beforehand or find out the price when you're already pulling up to someone taking your credit card. Suddenly you're being charged $50 for the Orange Lot with no prior warning. That's not just expensive, it feels deceptive. Then there's the food itself. On top of the extreme pricing, some of the portion sizes are laughable. The sandwiches we received for our family were tiny for what they cost. Paying premium prices for underwhelming portions just adds insult to injury. Until this pricing model changes, I will not be coming back to another game. For anyone thinking about attending: Take the trolley, eat before you go, or plan to eat afterward. Do not plan to spend money inside the stadium unless you enjoy feeling like you've been ripped off. This venue could easily become one of the best soccer experiences in the country -- but right now, the greed around food, drinks, and parking is driving fans away. The stadium did not have enough security or staff to handle the number of visitors, resulting in long delays and eventually closed gates because they couldn't manage the crowds. This created an unsafe environment, especially for families and children, and caused many paying customers to miss a large portion of the matches. The lack of organization and crowd control was unacceptable. For a venue hosting an event of this size, there is no excuse for such poor planning and execution. read more

Thank you to the staff member who told us to just go to our designated seating floor and at that level we would find bathrooms. Honestly, that was the only staff member that truly helped us out. The crowd is so busy at the bathrooms and food areas located close to the entrance that they don't know where else to go . We bought merchandise but they dont provide bags. The stadium has much to recommend it, but the fact remains they have sold off the naming right to a faceless corporation - and Snapdragon has to do with some component in a smartphone - nothing to do with soccer or sports, at all. True class would have been to name the stadium after Jack Murphy, the person who the original stadium was named for - that naming choice would have represented continuity, a recognition that history and the city matter. Now Jack Murphy only gets a statue of himself and his dog outside the stadium, with a plaque talking about all the sponsors of the statue, not actually explaining who the man himself was. Again, true class would have been to kept the name Jack Murphy for the stadium - but true class is hard to find in America these days. Snapdragon can never become a legendary stadium like Old Trafford of Man U, the Bernabeu of Real Madrid, or the Maracana of Brazil with a sold off stadium name representing nothing that'll change every 20 years. read more

I went to a concert last night and it took us two hours to get our Uber. This was not the problem of the Uber drivers but in fact the organization of how Uber drivers do there pick ups . It was a shit show out there and we were all watching security as they did not know what they were doing. People were almost getting hurt. Fights were almost breaking out and security guards were just screaming at people like kids. It's insulting to have someone yell at you to go to a certain direction when there are no signs out there and no professional direction so it could be seamless. We were not bothered to wait our turn, but cars are literally driving in circles because they did not know what to do. Snapdrsgon would've been better off hiring law-enforcement officers to direct traffic then to higher Podunk security traffic control that we're bumping to each other themselves. Someone literally yelled to my daughter that has Down Syndrome to get off the ground and go move to another area. She had taken her shoe off because she was so tired from standing and did not understand that everyone had to move to another area. The fact, no one knew. I'm sure we will not be going to another concert that's snapdragon and there were six of my family. My husband is a law-enforcement officer himself, and he was sitting there shaking his head at the dysfunctional parking and pick up situation. Not to mention, you don't have grown men yelling at families that have kids because that's a good way to start an argument or a fight. The security people were stressed out and so they started yelling. They were out of control of the whole situation. Pair of cameras in that area I suggest you pull them and show them for training purposes. read more

It never seemed too overcrowded and we could manage to walk around nicely. Loved the VIP limitless beer tasting. Sadly, wasn't able to sample each and every brewer. But we had fun trying. The music lineup was great. Would come back for this event. Would love to eventually see a concert or other event inside the stadium. The place is wide with parking lots filled with tailgates, and many variety of food and drinks at the stadium. It can get however very hot at times, but it's pretty great since they also have cooler stations where there is misty water sprayed for people. The stadium is pretty clean, bathroom is spreaded everywhere, and you have a great view of the games. Overall, great spot for concerts, games, and events.
