Anyhow, all that talking got us hungry, and I had to be careful with what I could eat thanks to a temporary crown from a root canal. Yikes! As such, Dad suggested this restaurant in a shopping center in Beaumont that's easy to overlook because it's surrounded by healthcare offices. It was a Sunday evening, and we could watch sports, and unbeknownst to us, lots of karaoke (varying degrees of talent), while we dined. My soft food of choice was the lasagne. Our friend got the Mac and cheese, while Dad went for the spaghetti and sausage. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant was. Lots of families and groups were there, and the food arrived before too long, so props to the kitchen staff. Full marks for portions, appearance, and how warm the meals were upon arrival. I had to be careful, but with some enjoyment lost from eating slowly in one side of the mouth, I realized this was a very good lasagne. The Mac and cheese looked great, too, and Dad commented on how good the sausage was. I ate everything except for the garlic bread, due to my situation. A small nibble suggested full flavor, but it wasn't worth the risk since my dentist office was closed until Tuesday. All-in-all, I would come back if I found myself in the area.

Today, we finally got to try the almighty Pizza Docs! I've been eyeing this place for about a…read moremonth now and have never been able to snag a spot. Then, one random day, I checked and somehow got a spot for today! Needless to say, I was SO excited. We ordered three different pizzas. Of course, we had to start with the two classics: a cheese and a Margherita. We also got the Code Red, which I was especially excited to try. We arrived about 2 minutes before our allotted pickup time, and the gentleman was just putting our Pizza in the oven. We chatted for a little bit, and once the pizzas were ready, his wife came out with everything. She was extremely sweet and even offered us napkins and waters. Such a lovely experience from the moment we arrived! Of course, as soon as we got into the car, we HAD to try a slice, right?! I grabbed a slice of the Code Red, and my dad grabbed a slice of the cheese. Let me just say... DELICIOUS. The crust was absolutely perfect light, airy, beautiful, and had the perfect flop. The presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was even better. My dad and I both agreed that it immediately took us right back to our time in Italy. We are BIG pizza people and are always searching for places that can give us that authentic Italian pizza experience and remind us of such an amazing time. Pizza Docs absolutely did that for us! And the best part? We live no more than 15 minutes away, and even by the time we got home, the pizza still tasted AMAZING. We absolutely crushed these pizzas. The pizza is so light that you could probably eat an entire one and not even feel overly full! We had already looked at the menu again before we even finished eating, trying to figure out what we want to order next and checking when their next availability is. We definitely want to try the Detroit-style pizza, along with some of their other Neapolitan pizzas. Great job, you two! You can truly tell there is a lot of love and care put into what you're making. We were so happy and pleased with our experience and cannot wait to come back and try more! 10/10 from us!

This is located in a small shopping center tucked around a corner. You can dine in or take your meal to go. We dined in, and this nice, casual spot has elements of Italy all over. For appetizers, we ordered the Fried Pickles and Sautéed Whole Mushrooms. My mother ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and I ordered their Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken, minus the broccoli. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The appetizers arrived, and we shared both. The fried pickle spears were delicious! Covered in a nice batter that didn't disintegrate upon eating. The sautéed mushrooms were seasoned to perfection, and I enjoyed every bite. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was larger than expected. My mother enjoyed every bite, and she had plenty left over to eat later. My dish arrived, and I knew that I was going to need a to-go box as well. The helping was generous, and the dish was a delight to eat. The soft strips of chicken were tender, the pasta was just right, and the seasonings were on point. The table next to us inquired as to what I had ordered. One of them ordered the same dish that I had- it looked that good! She agreed that it was delicious! The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was a winning dish for sure. We had plenty left over to enjoy later. Everything tasted just as good warmed up later that evening. Domenico's offers: Entrees Pizza -Cauliflower crust is also available Cold sandwiches Hot sandwiches Appetizers Salads Homemade Soup Bread Desserts They have a 55 & up menu items as well as kids (12 and under) We enjoyed our lunch, and we will happily return and encourage you to give Domenico's Italian Kitchen and Catering a try.

Lavender Festival Review (2026)…read more My group of three headed to the Lavender festival for the first time this weekend. Many events for the holidays take place at 123 Farms and this summer holds space for the beautiful lavender field and activities! The signs leading to the location were easy to find and you can either purchase your tickets online, or at the gate before you enter the festival. I loved the food, as they really try to incorporate lavender into their items, such as lavender honey, ice cream, pizza, and even a smash burger! Although nothing tasted as strong as I expected, the food was worth a try! I ended up splitting a lot of it with my friends so we could try different things. Our favorite item had to be the pepperoni and ricotta sourdough pizza! It was amazing! I'd pass on the sourdough mini donuts. Some of my first timer tips: The petting zoo ends at 5pm, so make sure to visit early if you plan on going! Go on the tractor ride when it's cooler, as my friends and I were struggling to keep cool on the ride since it's summer. And be prepared to pay for the tractor ride as it is $8 a person. Bring a fan or hat, and sunscreen! I personally don't recommend wearing sandals because there's many dirt areas and fire ants in the lavender fields! All in all, I had such fun filled day here at 123 Farm. They did a really fabulous job with the decorations and food which truly felt like a festival that didn't run you for your money. The gift shop items are definitely pricy. Definitely recommend this festival for your summer plans!

As soon as we got to the parking area none of the staff knew what we were talking about. No one knew if we had parking paid, no one knew where the event was and they didn't know where to send us. I showed them the flyer and they let us park so we went in. We talked to about 5 different employees and then we found the front lobby one directed us to. Once we figured out where we had to go we decided to get some drinks. I went up to the first drink place near the parking lot. Once I got up to order you could tell the cashier was very unhappy. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. She immediately said if I was giving alcohol to someone else I was going to have the cops called on me. I told her no I just wanted to try two drinks. She rang me up and once I picked up my drinks she again said to me, if I see you giving this to one of your little friends you will be escorted out and the police called on me. If someone reads this review it was an older white lady with dreadlocks working the booth. I am 26 years old I don't know what she targeted me for looking young and I didn't have any girlfriends with me. After that experience, I found the farmer that was leading us on the strawberry field picking. She was amazing, you could tell the farmers had a ton of passion with what they did. It was amazing history about the farm and then we all picked fresh strawberries at the end. They also gave us free fresh lemonade.
