I like this place for pizza, it's one of my favorites however we tried the deep dish and it's a big nah. It's not what we wanted and different than what we expected. My parents love the Calimesa location, and since this one is closer, we decided to try it one night for dinner. We did a pick-up order. 2 large pizzas and a side salad. We got a supreme pizza with everything, and the toppings were not lacking. There was plenty of cheese, and the crust was cooked just right. Good flavor. We were very happy. The other pizza was just a cheese pizza. Surprisingly, you would be amazed at how many places can screw up a cheese pizza! Not here! We were very happy the crust/dough was perfect, and so were the sauce/cheese ratio. We were very happy with our pizza selection and the prices are very reasonable. The only complaint I have is the side salad. It was a small to go clamshell with literally iceberg lettuce and 2 pickle slices. No dressing, no other toppings, nothing. I love salad with my pizza (I know, I'm weird!), and this was not what I was looking for. I saved the lettuce and used it on my kids' sandwiches the next day (that's how big the pieces were). The salad wasn't anything to deter us from coming back, I just know not to order it next time. Pizza - Ordered pepperoni and it was sufficient. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but not the worst. Right in the middle. There was for sure something the matter with it. It had a super weird taste and after 1 bite (which I spit out), the entire container went in the trash. I would get 2 for $35 as I chose an XL 2 tool, both toppings were pepperoni. Then I got a L NY Special. I ordered over the phone and was told it would be 30min. Got there on time, and the cashier, brought my total up as $48 and change. I reminded her that I got the special. She explained that in order to receive the Specual price, the pizzas have to be the same size. She showed me the menu and I pointed out that it just states you pay the greater of the two pizzas. She asked the gentleman in the back, I assume he's the owner, I could barely hear them. She came back and wanted to charge me $39, the price for an XL NY special. But I only got the large. On the menu, the price for the pizzas I selected was $35 so that's the price I was willing to pay as it does not state they had to be the same size. After a few minutes of talking to the man again she said she will go ahead and give me the discount this time. I reassured her that I know now to order the same size.
