    Order of Sweet Potato Fries
    Michelle D.

Stopped for dinner and drinks with some friends. Ordering our food was quick and easy but ordering bar drinks was awful! Our food came out and we were still standing at the bar waiting for our drinks. She then topped 2 of the drinks with soda because she didn't make enough of either one, neither drink had soda in them. That was very disappointing! Next time I won't order a mixed drink and just get a canned or draft beer or none at all because it was an insanely long wait. The bar wasn't super busy either. The sweet potato fries are delicious and the smash burgers are also really good.

I'm so glad something finally occupied this empty space! A great burger bar the food was yummy and prices weren't bad at all! Lots of sitting area and outdoor patio hard to beat! They've got lots of delicious sounding burgers, sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches to try. They've also got a variety of home made sauces and giant milk shakes! We enjoyed the visit and would definitely return!

    Thin Mint Milkshake

The staff was super friendly. It was packed so it took about 10 minutes for the shake, which is understandable and the staff warned us. We got a Thin Mint milkshake, it was $9. It was not worth it at all for the price and the taste. There was very little Mint, it was mainly just chocolate. It didn't taste bad, it just wasn't what we thought.

Perfect burger place in Hamburg . Where burgers meet Milkshakes and Adult Beverages. Staff are both friendly and excited to treat you like a family member bringing up sports and other topics.. Both family friendly and Adult Oriented. I definitely enjoyed coming to the restaurant

The burgers are 6oz...So if you are hungry and a bigger guy you better make it a double...I got the Space Rodeo with American instead of provolone...You can add/change the ingredients for their burgers....I'm really not a smash burger guy but these were really excellent....The fries were average....I also got a pbuster vanilla shake and it was really good.....Service was good but no one comes to your table after you order...Might want to remember that for tipping....Comfortable sitting area and it was clean...I didn't pay as a family member did but it seemed really pricey....

If you miss Mr Sizzles, you're in luck, because Augie's is the rebranding! Amazing shakes and smash burgers! The location in Hamburg is spacious and bright. The bar area is open. Service is a bit inconsistent, even with the counter service and buzzers, but hopefully that will get ironed out in time. I can't wait to get those burgers again!

Went here to watch some playoff football a couple walls ago for the first time, Chris the owner is a very nice guy. The food was EXCELLENT! I got the dr. Vinkman and it was delicious paired with the great hayburner. We will definitely be back.

This is such a cute spot and fun area for a restaurant for the whole family. They had a lot of burger choices along with chicken sandwiches to choose from. They have a full wrap around bar with high top seating around it if you don't want to sit at a table. Service was fast at the bar and as for ordering food you have to walk up to the kiosk where the servers are to order food. So, there isn't any table side service other than when they bring your food out to your table. The food was good everyone in our party really enjoyed ourselves. The noise level was low so we could talk and hangout no problems. I would go back to try more options on the menu as maybe next time I'll bring my kids so they can try it too!

Messy Pressy - poutine burger. Would make a Canadian proud!

Not sure what took me so long to get to Augie's, but I'm very grateful Yelp stepped in and hosted an event here. I loved the setup right away--counter service and fast turnaround. We went with the Uncle Papi, which can only be described as pizza and a fried chicken sandwich having a beautiful, messy love child. The chicken filet was impressively large, and the Sunday sauce? So good it would absolutely earn a seal of approval from my Italian grandma. The fries were plentiful, and while I regret not testing one of their fun dipping sauces, the house-made blue cheese did not disappoint. We also ordered the Messy Pressy (aka the poutine burger), and it lived up to its name in the best possible way. Delicious, indulgent, and led to a nap on the ride home. Already looking forward to coming back--and possibly making it a personal goal to work my way through every burger and sandwich on the menu. Those brunch burgs are calling my name, and I'm not ignoring them.

Love the atmosphere! The neon sign designed after his son is so cute and looks so nice over the bar. Service is great, food is great, and I appreciate the wide selection of beverages, including mocktails. Big TVs, so great place to watch games. Drink specials and food specials on different days, depending on when you're there. Shakes and floats also. The burgers are fantastic and it's definitely worth the trip, whether you're just around the corner or coming down from the city. I really appreciate locally owned businesses, especially ones that have a greater purpose in the community. The story behind this restaurant and their mission to help feed families with kids dealing with serious illnesses is really beautiful and important. They absolutely have my business.

I stopped in after work one night to grab some late dinner on my way home. I was super excited to try the new location and new name for the former Sizzles, now Augies empire. The location itself is so nice and modernized with a very new feel to it. It felt like it would be the perfect summer night spot with the patio and the vibes here were great. I ordered ahead of time so I got there and waited for my food at a table. There was a little confusion and delay with the milkshake I ordered but no big deal, that cookies and cream milkshake was worth the wait. It was gone before I got home. I also ordered The Mothership burger and fries. I added an extra patty to the burger because a double is always better. The burger was fantastic and hit the spot. The space sauce is a great addition for their burgers here. The fries were good but I just wanted more of them. I guess I'm used to other burger spots dumping fries in the bag with the cup so I was a little bummed when it was just enough fries to fill the cup. All in all, I'm excited for this next chapter for them. I'll be excited to try the food from both locations and can't wait to see what the menu adds and evolves like they did in the past.

We finally made it to Augie's for lunch and the food was delicious. It was a snowy Saturday afternoon and the renovations from the previous tenant were nice. We sat at the bar and ordered the space rodeo burger, no bun, sweet potato fries, hen solo and galaxy fries and to drink the wake up call and bloody Mary. The sandwiches were delicious, hot and fresh and the toppings were nice flavor additions to the burger and chicken sandwich. The galaxy fries were tasty and a nice change from the standard French fry. The sweet potato fries were a great and appreciated menu item however they came out cold. The morning wake up call was delicious and used some vanilla ice cream in the drink which was a nice twist on an espresso martini. The food, with the exception of the sweet potato fries was easily 5 stars. The issue we had here was the service. The bartender was a bit snarky when we asked her questions about menu items. She also decided to take a personal phone call when the food came out. I needed silverware and had to wait until she finished her call, at the same time I asked if the kitchen forgot my pickles, I got a snappy response that they were under the burger. Great, no problem, but how would I know if I don't have silverware to check. The sweet potato fries were also cold. For $7, I'd like them hot and fresh. But at this point I was hungry, my burger was getting cold and I didn't feel like catching any more attitude. I will absolutely be back but I hope whoever is there on my next visit is friendlier and more helpful. They have some great happy hour specials, delicious cocktails, a brunch menu and a rooftop coming soon.

We arrived to grab some food on Friday night and it was a very busy night with only a few tables available after we ordered. It was a bit of a wait for our food but we were fine with it because they were clearly not prepared for it to be that busy but we were glad to see it and weren't in a hurry. One of the employees even came over to make sure we didn't need anything and to apologize for the wait and explained they weren't anticipating that much of a rush and were a little backed up. The space itself is open, lively, and family friendly. It was mostly families eating while were there. The shakes are the highlight here - I tried the P. Buster banana and it was delish. The coffee flavored one my husband got was also very flavorful. We tried the g dawg hot dog, p. buster burger and fries and everything was tasty. I'll probably try some of the other menu items next time we go but wouldn't hesitate to get those again.

Upon arriving, the hostess told us that the outdoor reservation actually means nothing and its first come first serve for seating. So, that wasn't great. As always, the space was great. The rooftop bar was fantastic - great weather and a live DJ made it a really fun place to hang out on a Friday night. The bar upstairs didn't have as good of a cocktail menu as inside, which was okay! We ordered our food directly at the bar. Black Smoke used to have a delicious BBQ inspired menu. They have recently updated their menu, and I wasn't impressed. We ordered the Mac and cheese croquettes, the steak flatbread, and the chips and dip. The Mac and cheese balls were good but they were very heavily seasoned with Italian seasoning - it was a little overpowering. I had heard great things about the steak flatbread - steak, goat cheese, caramelized onions, and fresh spring greens. The flatbread arrived and was cut into these little triangles and was stacked on top of eachother and the spring greens seemed like they were cooked on the pizza instead of sprinkled on after. This made the flatbread taste kind of swampy and completely negated the delicious onion and flat cheese combo going on. If you got a bite without the spring greens it was tasty. The chips and dip were the one thing I had no issues with. The chips were thick and homemade and the dip was creamy, oniony, and delicious! Overall, the bartenders were amazing, the drinks were good, and the vibes were top tier. I just won't be back for dinner any time soon.

She needed a place to eat and as I was looking at her location I seen this wasn't too far off from interstate 90 where she was. Read her the menu options and she wanted mac n cheese. I called it in and explained that she's handicapped and I am ordering this for her. They were super accommodating and even brought the food out to her when ready. I surprised her with pretzel bites which she enjoyed. Her only real complaint was no utensils came in her bag so she had to wait to eat the mac. I had some when she finally came home, we reheated it the next day. I thought it was ok. I enjoyed toasting the pretzels in the toaster more. I'm sure a good dine in spot with a vibe but.

First one was the Blizzard of 77 (Jack Daniel's Whiskey, Amaretto, Frangelico, a Splash of Pepsi and a Lime Wedge) normally I don't like drinking whiskey straight (I like it mixed with other things). I'm glad I could taste all the ingredients and the Hard Whiskey flavor didn't overpower it. 5 minutes later I come back for another Drink, The Tilt-a-Whirl (Myer's Dark Rum, Cherry Brandy, Vermouth, Lime Juice, Pineapple Juice and garnished with a Cherry gummy candy on top). Now I never thought that these ingredients would describe one of the most popular rides at the Fair, but I wanted to give it a Whirl. I could taste everything in there except for the Vermouth. I didn't even pay attention to the Gummy Candy on top. I just finished my drink and then I went over to the Blue Ribbon Grill (see Review) to wait for my Food to be ready. The stone building with white pillars and green awnings provides a sophisticated view, but there's a laid back and relaxing feeling that permeates the restaurant. Large dinning rooms, seating at the bar, and a large patio in back gives a chance for everyone to spread out, leaving it mostly quiet for your dining experience. The menu gives a solid selection, with prices about where you would expect them. We chose the Strawberry Daiquiri from the frozen cocktail list, the pound of mussels, pound of wings - garlic parmesan, and the crunch rolls. The Daiquiri hit the spot at the end of the day, and the mussels and crunch rolls met expectations. The surprise was the wings! The outside was crispy and crunchy like fresh wings are, and the garlic parmesan was a flavor that stayed in our mouths long after we had left the restaurant. I mean that in the best way possible... they were delicious! That's the food... but the view! Sitting at the top of the golf course, the view was amazing! The sprawling green lawns and pockets of trees amplified the relaxing, calming atmosphere. We needed it after busy weeks and hectic schedules. I am giving it a three instead of a four because of one thing: the food took over an hour to arrive on our table. Not being terribly crowded and being items from the Appetizers list, we thought this a little unusual. We did notice that two parties had to leave with their entrees as "to-go" after their waiting as well. But... as we had gone to relax and are not in a rush, we had few complaints ourselves.
