Living in the village of Hamburg we couldn't wait for our new burger spot to open, especially one with multiple vegan options! After the emotional rollercoaster of Mister Sizzles opening and closing all in a week our hearts were broken that our burger dreams were over. We stopped by on a cold winter night for some burgers and shakes. We loved the previous burger joint in this location, and heard great things about Augie's, so we were excited to try. I ended up getting one of the fried chicken sandwiches and it was phenomenal. The hubby got one of the burgers and he really liked it. I also got the sweet potato fries and they came with an incredibly delicious cinnamon and brown sugar dip, and I am still thinking about it!!! I don't think I've seen any other restaurant do that, so that was a nice treat! Their homemade sauces to go with burgers/sandwiches are also delicious, but just be prepared to pay a little extra for them, which wasn't a huge deal to me :) One of the main reasons why I wanted to try Augie's is because of their vegan/dairy free options! Not only do they have a bunch of vegan burger options, but they also have vegan milkshakes! I am not vegan, but do like to limit dairy when possible to avoid an upset stomach and I tried their dairy free peanut butter milkshake and it had to be one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. It's so nice to have these options so close to home where they have something for everyone and their dietary needs. And they also have gluten free options, which I know is super important for a lot of people! The service was also great, and everyone was super friendly! For those not familiar (because I wasn't), you actually go up to the counter to order and sit anywhere, which is really nice and convenient for those looking for a quick bite to eat. Our food was brought to us, so you do get some "full" service, which is nice! And I thought the food was very reasonably priced. We ordered a Pbusters burger, a Messy Pressy and Galaxy fries. All were good and super fresh. I feel like the fries are cut and seasoned in house. Today was the first day of their liquor license so the selection was limited. Seeing all of the sections that were blacked out leads me to believe there will be a good selection of house made beverages. We sat at the service counter and the guy working was on top of everything. The restaurant seems very family friendly but can also host a group out for an adult libation. They are working on opening a rooftop seating are with a second service counter as well. I look forward to patronizing this establishment again... hopefully for year to come. 4.95* read more

Food is very good, but not worth the wait. Food generally takes 30-40 minutes. They always seem overly backed up with delivery orders and neglect in-person orders. For a place that promotes themselves as "Fast Eats"..... they are not. Chic-fil-a will get the job done in an 1/8 of the time. read more

The Food and atmosphere are spectacular, but I cannot excuse the wait I had. I got in there at 5:15pm on a Friday before anyone else had been in the store and ordered. Want the best for this place. Loved Mr Sizzles. I'm really glad they rose up out of the ashes. You guys should have an ordering space for people that want drinks at tables. The only area to order is in the way of the servers. Have a QR code menu for food & drink to look at, at the tables. Should probably have a take out order/pickup line and utilize only door by the bar. As the table situation is a free for all. Possible order/pay for drinks and food at tables. Also, kind of gross to have to sit down at a table that someone else just ate at. We had to ask to have it wiped down. Maybe have a host to manage tables. Maybe all these problems will solve themselves when things calm down a little, but the dirty table thing would be my biggest issue. Loved that Augies was opened on Memorial Day and that made it a great place to stop after golf. Burgers and sweet potato fries were excellent. Highly recommend the thin mint shake! A few mix ups with orders were addressed quickly. Maybe consider having a water dispenser available rather than having to go to the bar. read more

We love Augies. We are vegetarians and this is always our go to place. They have amazing food and service! Owners are hands on and whatever location they are at they come out and great you and make sure everything is good. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting quality service. Both locations are fantastic! Highly recommend going to either one. read more

Fantastic environment, service and food. Extremely friendly atmosphere with great customer service. My wife, son and I met Chris the owner on our visit. He is a very friendly and outgoing person. He came to our table too ensure our visit was going well. Before long, we were involved in a friendly conversation in which Chris explained the backstory and origination of Augie's. By the end of the conversation my family and I had made a friend and my son left wearing an Augie's t-shirt. We will definitely be visting Augie's again very soon. the first time we went there, it made us want to go back. 2nd time there, cold fries and shake was just okay. Chicken sandwiches were very good. Been in the restaurant business for years but would not put a tip option on your order upfront. would prefer tipping after the fact. maybe that is why we got pre-cooked cold fries. The first time I ordered a plain chicken sandwich for my daughter on Mothers Day, I stressed chicken and bun only. After I picked it up and was driving my daughter opened the sandwich and it was covered in hot sauce and mayonnaise and other things. I called and let the girl on the phone know. I ordered again with nothing on it and when I went to pick it up Kristen the manager apologized and refunded my card and gave us another one made correctly. We will give them another chance. This place was good as Mr. Sizzles, it seems everything has improved as Augie's. My online pickup order was ready in less than 20 minutes and the food was fresh and perfect, not greasy at all. The staff was friendly and professional. Hopefully it stays like this on very busy nights. read more

The burgers were delicious! The two staff members that took care of us were very friendly and helpful, great customer service. The music was a bit to loud for me but my sons had no issues. So glad they have reopened. Will have to check out the Hamburg location next. read more

I was so disappointed that mister sizzles closed (got it twice the week it closed) but was so happy to hear Augies was opening. I was unsure if it was going to be the same or if the changes would be good. I was blown away! We went to the Hamburg location and the burgers brought me right back to why I loved it to begin with and the addition of the hotdogs for my toddlers is perfection!
