I hit a pothole quite hard on my way into town and it destroyed my tire and wheel. This was around midnight as I was just passing through town. I parked my car at Augies and crashed at a friends for the night, unsure what to do as it was the weekend and shops were closed. Augies saw my car, gave me a call, and they were able to help me change my tire despite off hours. It was all so incredibly fast and also, I was given a lot of help advice on what to look for in new tires, and where to get a good deal in the town that I'm from. In addition, he said he charges $180.00 per hour, a rate well above any body shop even including Truckee. I tried to do business locally but that endeavor failed. read more

Some old Asshole works here or owns the property or something along those lines. I'm a six time combat vet who deployed with the 2nd Ranger Battalion. I also own a new Jeep. My Jeep started to experience mechanical issues which disabled the vehicle. It barely made it to the mechanic shop on this Assholes property when this drunk Asshole, I'm told his name was auggie, greeted me very rudely and kept interrupting me. The Jeep shop claimed to be on call during the weekends and Auggie told me leave and to call on Monday's. Before I could ask him if he knew of any other mechanic near the area, he again interrupted me telling me that all he could say was to call on Monday. So I did what I always do to people are rude assholes. I myself became a rude asshole. This dumbass was so drunk he couldn't even pronounce Verbally. He said "vuburbally". Then proceeded to call law enforcement to come arrest me or something. I'm so glad I risked my life six time to defend this stupid ass'freedom. Makes me feel like it was all worth it. read more
