We sat down at the bar for a little lake-side lunch date and had the pleasure of being served by the lovely bartender (wish I could remember her name). I ordered a mule and grilled chicken sandwich (yum) and my partner had some beers and a fried fish plate. The portion sizes are huge which of course we loved and the menu pricing is totally reasonable too. If I find myself close by, I'll definitely be stopping be again! This is a relative by marriage. I found this on my news feed today. You people are disgusting. I will never spend money at your establishment and many more will back him. He was not faking a thing. I've known his story for many years now. My husband is his sister's nephew. Extremely upset and saddened by what took place at Auggie's today with a Veteran!! My cousin was there today with his true and valid service dog because he has a traumatic brain injury from his marine days at war. The owner yelled and berated him over why he needed this dog and where were his papers. She was yelling at the top of her lungs being extremely rude. She embarrassed him over Her not knowing the laws and then banned him for life. This is ridiculous and completely uncalled for! She is very fortunate that the stress she caused did not make him have a seizure. AUGGIE'S DOES NOT SUPPORT VETERAN'S! I AM ASKING YOU NOT TO SUPPORT THEM! PLEASE SHARE! Augie's was once a fun place with great staff...they must have changed owners...the amount of disrespect and poor Customer service you now get to look forward to when being there is exactly how you want to start or end your day on the lake.... You're an inconvenience while you're there everybody is either waiting to get off or coming on shift and it's your fault they are angry all the way from the guy in the gas/fishing shack to the wait staff and the bartenders.... There is in fact a few great ones there however the ones who act like they didn't sit down fill out the application and apply for that job will ruin it for the rest! I personally will not go back there...customers shouldn't feel uncomfortable or be spoken to as if they were a nuisance! I really hope they get rid of the ones that forget wether you hate your job or not it's your job that you applied for and agreed to and you're in CUSTOMER SERVICE.... My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a while now and we love it every time we are there. We always share the Augie's Burger and enjoy there tacos as well on occasion.
