The fries were okay as they lacked salt but were surprisingly crunchy. I assumed the cook tried to compensate the salt for lemon pepper seasoning yet it wasn't enough. Though, it is justificable because I arrived and ordered at the establishment near closing time. The onion rings were crunchy and had a funnel cake like flavor and could fill up a person's stomach. Almost no one says No!). Assuming you don't have a dog allergy, this will hopefully be a feature. There is a relatively new apartment complex across the street and I get the feeling a lot of the people stopping in were regulars who bring in their dogs during walkies and grab a bite before heading back home, but that is just pure conjecture on my part. Either way, it was a fun inviting atmosphere. The music was nice, not too loud for my old man ears to enjoy but still present enough to be part of the evening without being intrusive. My guess is the owner has stock in some jalapeno growers farm somewhere and the food is all the better for it!
