This is an update 5 years later after my rhinoplasty with Dr. Diaz where I still love my nose!…read more Due to the asymmetries in my face and thickness of skin, the final healed results were at about 99% of what I expected. I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! Absolutely nothing to do with his amazing expertise or the amazing team. If you have any concerns, please call the office directly rather than leave a negative review out of emotion, trust me it's a win-win and also a practice of self love!

I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this directly…read more I have emailed the doctor and left a message requesting a refund confirmation or a call back directly from her and mentioned of a refund for the two items used in my emails. I was told she would call me back on Monday. It is now Wednesday, and I have not received a call or written refund confirmation. This is after I waited all last week because I was told she was out of town, and I wanted to give her time to return before following up again. When I first brought up the refund issue, Jamie immediately used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and stop me from saying what I needed to say. These tactics do not work for me. If anything, I will simply stop communicating directly and involve my counsel as needed. I am entitled to a straightforward refund process without having to chase after a refund that belongs to me. At this point, I do not want to be contacted by staff. I do not want phone calls or emails from anyone other than Dr. Ahdout directly. Dr. Ahdout may call me, and only Dr. Ahdout may call me. Other than that, I will not communicate about this matter with anyone else, and I will involve my counsel immediately as needed. I also have before-and-after photos. The before photos were taken by their own staff, and I have those photos on my phone. I know I did not have this issue before, regardless of what was being suggested to me, and I was surprised by the way my concerns were minimized. Jamie suggested to me that the tightness I was feeling in my face was perfectly normal. I knew that was not the case because it made no sense, and when I asked Dr. Ahdout directly, she also confirmed that was not the case. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. So far, there have been various issues with my experience, which I will not get into at this time, but I will include further details if my refund is not processed promptly. There has been a pattern of having to chase after leaving messages, and this situation is not an exception. I am tired of chasing after my own doctor. If the refund for the two items used is not processed this week, I will process the dispute through my bank. Any further questions regarding my results, including any plastic-surgery-related concerns for correction of what had been done, will be handled through my attorney since they have given me a hard time about the refund already. I simply went my refund and I'd like to fix it with a plastic surgeon of my choice and not at the place that caused the issue. At this point I'm simply asking for my refund and if my refund is not processed today - I will also hold them fully liable for any and all corrections I have to do with a plastic surgeon - in addition to my refund for the 2 items. This review reflects my experience and will remain posted as a record of what happened. I will update it with any relevant details, including whether the refund is processed. I may or may not remove it after the refund as I see fit.

During the service, everything was great until we got to extractions. After already going past 15 minutes, I was told there would be an additional $50 charge for "extra" extractions. This was not clearly disclosed beforehand, and I felt put on the spot to agree since the service was already in progress. The final total came out to $400. After the facial, I was shown "premium" products and told the total would be around $1,000, which had never been discussed. I explained that I could only afford around $500, and I was considering a selection of products within that range. However, when I asked whether one item, specifically an SPF, was necessary, the tone shifted. I was told there was no point in continuing to go over products if I was not going to purchase anything and that we "were not a good fit," to which I agree, but not because I asked questions or was unwilling to buy. As a result, I chose not to purchase anything and canceled the next appointment. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. As a young client still in college, I would have expected a more understanding and respectful approach rather than pressure. Overall, the lack of professionalism made this an uncomfortable experience.
