This place had quite a line when we went, so I had high expectations. The maple coffee was probably my favorite thing we ordered! We tried the famous biscuit and jam, which was solid, and a steak breakfast sandwich that was good as well. Overall, everything was enjoyable, but I'm not sure I'd wait in a long line for it again. Worth trying if you're already nearby and the line isn't crazy.

Super yummy sandwiches (tofu for vegetarians) and sweet at this cavernous space that prohibits the laptop mafia from descending and taking the best seats in the house.Service is efficient and helpful but I do need to rant a bit about the flip screen tipping screen. I mean, really, sigh, tipping (20-30% on my $7 loaf of bread to ring is just too much and makes me angry). Raise prices to pay a better/living wage don't guilt your customers into doing it - grrrrrrrrrr... rant over. Anyhoo this is a lovely place to visit and since laptops are banned the conversation and noise from adjoining tables can get a bit loud, especially when the garage door doors are closed. -1 star deduction for the horrible tip kiosk thingy

Locally owned and independently operated bakery with a counter dining experience. Casual ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating (garage doors that can be rolled up to expose the front of the cafe on nice days). A no laptop policy keeps things flowing and encourages folks to talk vs work. Breakfast menu is available all day while lunch starts at 11 and goes until close at 3p. We tried a few things: * croissant - super flaky and perfectly made. * breakfast sandwich - with sausage. Buttery and crispy edges toast with fried egg and melted cheese with sausage. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever. * banner eighteen - a play on cheesesteak with broccoli mushrooms and shaved steak in a sesame hogie. This one had slight spice and a slight taste reminiscent of a combination pizza. It's a big sandwich and quite tasty. * oatmeal raisin cookie - not too sweet which I loved. Chewy. * fresh baquette. Bread . . . . . * maple lemonade - slightly sweet with a good bit of tartness. It was good! I'd definitely comeback here if I'm craving some sandwiches

Amazing food. Honey bee latte was amazing. Mushroom toast was delicious, crispy, savory and full of flavor. Maple biscuit was perfectly grilled. Steak and eggs was loved by my husband. Would returned repeatedly.

Wow! I absolutely loved it here. The space is small warehouse vibes, very Burlington. It's a no laptop/work zone which I thought was cool so it felt like a true gathering place. We just got a couple croissants and a Kouign Amann, but their whole menu of sandwiches and such looked amazing. They have peak croissant game though! Super flaky, crispy, perfect lamination. We had croissants that were baked with turkey, apple, and cheese, which was a great combo. The Kouign Amann was also perfectly layered with just the right amount of sweetness and caramelization. Delightful! Can't wait to visit again the next time we're in Burlington!

Visiting for the week from Berkeley, CA and I came to this fantastic spot every morning. The folks behind the counter were nice though one was clearly new and was a bit confused about how yo best put in what I wanted. The flavor of the mocha was slightly different the second morning but it was still very good. The maple biscuit is the best biscuit I've ever had. If you want the biscuit hot, you want to order the griddled biscuit. It comes with butter and jam so no need to order more butter unless you want to try the maple butter, which is an additional al cost. Figured all this out after a few days. Love the open space and the vibe of the shop. Definitely my favorite in town of the three coffee spots I tried.

    Blueberry muffin, maple biscuit (hefty)

Stopped by on a Wednesday just before the lunch rush. We had walked by on the weekend, and saw the lines snaked maybe 10-15+ deep. After sitting down, the lunch rush came in, about 5+ ppl deep. Ordered a maple biscuit + blueberry muffin + Americano. Thick, flaky, and rich biscuit, tasty blueberry muffin. Variety of sandwiches that looked good after peering at a neighbor's table. Great spot to share a pastry, relax, read, or do laptopless work. More outdoor seating, weather permitting. If you're not willing to wait in line, they have free, fantastic smells when their corner door is open.

Service was quick it was very busy on a Sunday morning. We loved the outdoor seating options. Griddled biscuits are very good. Highly recommend. Breakfast sandwich was also good. I was very unimpressed with their chocolate croissant, it came out cold and chocolate was hard. Chai lacked flavor.

This place is very busy for good reason! All the food looked so tasty. The inside was full when I went, but they have a lot of seating considering the size of the cafe. They also have outdoor seating! Because of how busy it is, this place has more of a bustling atmosphere rather than a cozy cafe. The latte was soooo good. Of course I had to get it with maple syrup while I was in Vermont. It did not disappoint!! I got an extra shot of espresso (both sizes come with 2 by default), and the coffee to milk ratio was perfect. The breakfast sandwich I was less impressed by. It was still really good (especially the bread), but the whole thing ended up being a little too greasy for me. Great experience, the service workers were kind and helpful even with how busy it was. Overall rating: 4.7/5 stars

Great place for baked goods and breakfast. Had the Dirty Pork Egg Sandwich and griddled Maple Biscuit. Went back and ordered more to go.

Real deal local small batch artisan bread. Highly recommend the olive loaf! Lines can be long but well worth it for amazing fresh bread.
