Got some bagels at this cafe in Burlington. It has plenty of cream cheeses, as well. Burlington Bagel Company has a few locations, but this is the best one. Of course it has to do with where it is. This is located on Church Street and is a perfectly charming way to begin a morning. Came in the morning to get breakfast. It's got bagels of course but there's also coffee. These go pretty good together. It's about $6 for a Maple Latte. Of course add a bit more for non dairy milks. Kind of expensive. The choices of these include oat. On to the lots of bagels. Pretty good selection. It's about $4 for a bagel with cream cheese. They have Tofutti as one. Have to come early to get the freshest bagels. It's often out of a few later. The tasiest, most filling breakfast sandwiches ever!! I had a Triple B--an amazing combo of bagel, bacon, cheddar, hashbrown, and chipotle mayo. Yes, that hashbrown is IN the sandwich. And it was fantastic! We loved it so much, we ate breakfast there again the next day. I had the Triple B with an asiago & roasted red pepper bagel the first day, and I chose it with a Montreal spice bagel the next. My husband had the egg, cheese, and sausage on a Montreal spice bagel both days. Scrumptious. And they filled us up until well into the afternoon. We will definitely miss these breakfasts. The absolute best bagel I have ever had - better than NYC! We were traveling thru and stopped in for breakfast. They were busy but line went fast. We got a jalapeño everything with cream cheese and one with egg, cheese and bacon. So good! Bonus is getting to watch thru a window the bagels being made, boiled and baked. So cool! With so much room they could rearrange the service area. The line bends back into a corner causing a massive traffic jam towards the coolers and order area. My girlfriend and I came here a few times during our long weekend get away to Burlington. We both love to start our mornings with a bagel and a coffee so this place immediately caught our eye when walking church street. The bagels were good, they tasted nice and fresh both times we were there and the cream cheese was great as well. The service was good, and quick considering how busy it could get in there at times. And there is a nice ambiance as well. The three story dining area was a very cool concept! While eating there was an encounter of a homeless woman coming in and digging through the trash. What seems like the manager came out and asked the woman to leave and promptly began cleaning the big mess she had left. There are three levels: ground floor where you order and have the option to sit at a booth, second floor which is in the intermediate space of the staircases, and the top floor which is small, isolated, quiet, and beautiful with giant windows that look down on church street. It's not disability accessible which is kind of a bummer. But there are other good things; the drinks are nice, the sandwiches are fantastic. There are gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. They are very generous with the cream cheese. There are some nice snack offerings sort of like at starbucks. I think it's a very nice spot for a variety of occasions. My only nitpick is that they only have one kind of vegan cream cheese (tofutti) and that sometimes they leave something off my bagel, but tbh that's only when I come in while they're crazy busy and they still got me my bagel in less than five minutes which is all that matters during lunch rush. They let me pour my own oat milk (it costs extra, but not much) AND have Speeder and Earl coffee which is a huge win. This place clearly does not know how to toast a bagel. I would say that the bagel is toasted half the be amount of a normal bagel and I could barely even tell it was toasted at all. If you like your bagel toasted , I would recommend you ask for a double toast unless you want to end up vastly underwhelmed. In addition, the maple coffee did not taste like maple at all, but rather tasted like an over sweet coffee. If you like extremely sweet coffee go ahead and order, otherwise, not worth the cost. My time here could be described as mediocre and I think you could take this place or leave it. It's cute if you want to be a tourist on Church St., otherwise, reconsider going here. read more

I'm not going to claim to be an expert in bagels, but this place at least gets the job done. We were looking for a place near the Church Street Marketplace to grab a bite, but everywhere was pretty busy. Luckily, we were able to get in and out of here without too much trouble. The Mary Jane was decent, but the pesto flavor was a little bit muted for what I had hoped it would be. The Catamount was actually surprisingly good for such a simple sandwich - the avocado, cheese, and spinach just went together really well. I gave the steamed Vermont cider a try, but I'd probably skip it the next time out. I couldn't really tell a huge difference between it and any other cider I've ever had. Part of the experience of Vermont cider is probably the ambiance, and I don't think this is the place for it. read more

They've taken up their tables so you must find a place to sit outdoors (they had no outdoor seating) but that wasn't much issue on church street.
