Wow! I feel like I have a brand new car! When my garage door malfunctioned a few weeks ago, my shiny black SUV was badly scratched. I got an estimate of $1000 to have it fixed, but not wanting to spend that kind of money, I just kept driving it. Finally my neighbor recommended that I talk to the guys at August Precision, and I am so glad I did! They are tops in my book! When I got my car back (in about an hour and a half), it looked almost as good as the day I bought it new six years ago. You would never know how many scratch marks were on it before! Marshall Waddell is the gentleman who worked on it, but I suspect the other guys are equally good. They run a very professional business and really seem to care about what they do. Their prices are extremely reasonable too! Their shop is a little hard to find. I needed to sell my car and I needed a really thorough cleaning and detailing. I had moved to a residence in the country a year prior, and my car's condition was pretty bad due to the dirt roads there. I hired August Precision and they worked their magic... In about 4 hours I picked my car up and it was almost unrecognizable to me.... It looked like it had just rolled off a showroom floor. I had expected to get 20k for the car but I easily got 22.8k. August Precision paid for itself many times over, I'm sure of it. They even lifted up my back seat to remove all dog hair from the cracks! They got all the areas everyone forgets; wheel wells, gas cap area, the area where the trunk door shuts. They even cleaned the motor. Although I have known about August precision for a number of years and know some of their other clients, my preference has been to clean my own cars with a home setup from AmmoNYC and Obsesseed Garage plus my own choices. However, this winter I haven't had the proper time to devote for car detailing so I took it to the man I trust: Marshall. He and his team knocked it out of the park. Every penny well spent. You really get more than what you pay for...and as someone who details cars as a hobby, these guys are legit pros. I'm very happy with the service from August Precision. I have a minivan (and three small children, so the mess was hefty) and ordered the "Full Clean" package-- their most extensive interior/exterior detailing-- with the interior steam clean add-on. A team of 3 came to my house and did the entire job in just under 2 hours. The team was very professional and my van looks like new. Even more, despite the shampooing, leather cleaning, and surface cleaning the only smell I noticed was leather, and not tons of synthetic chemicals. Making contact with the company was easy and I knew what to expect. Also, I researched the price beforehand and it was lower than two other Raleigh-area detailing companies by about $75. read more

The guys at August did an amazing job correcting my paint and ceramic coating my Titan! It looks better than the day I bought it!! And that's saying a lot considering it has 50k miles on it. They had to fix the horrible finishing work the paint shop did when they fixed the rock chips. I had taken it back to the paint shop 5 times each time they were unable to get it corrected...meanwhile the guys at August Precision were able to fix it all and make it look absolutely amazing!! I found August Precision by searching online for the best detailing place in Raleigh. I was so happy to find that it was close to my home and located off Westgate. I have to say that it did not disappoint at all. It is fantastic and the quality of work is outstanding! The customer service is superior. Marshall, Chris and the team did a fantastic job in ceramic coating my car. I had many (many!) questions and went by to do a walkthrough to check that they could do what I needed. They had my car for three days and di an amazing job on the body, door panels (inside), wheels and brake calipers. They even did the engine compartment and, unexpectedly, the engine cover. FANTASTIC job! Makes me wonder how my car would look if they kept it for a whole day or longer. I got the premier wash with an exterior focus. My car is only 3 weeks old but just got back from a road trip to DC and back.... my car was splattered with bugs and road grime. Now it looks better than when I picked it up from the dealer!
