Augusta has broken multiple sprinklers doing a core aeration. I brought this to their attention in the past and they denied it, despite it obviously being the core aeration guy who basically runs through the yard to do it as fast as possible. I even marked the sprinklers with little orange flags so it wouldn't happen again, and of course this last time it happened again. I contacted them to let them know I would not be paying for the core aeration because they destroyed more of my property resulting in me needing to do 4-5 hours of repairs myself, and they immediately charged my card regardless. So now I get to do a chargeback and talk to my bank about their fraud. Avoid this company at all costs, absolutely shady practices read more

I had called last Friday to have someone come out and give me a bid on my front yard. I live in a MH in a 55+ Trailer park. I called again today and they set me up to get a bid. I got a call from Dean who told me they wouldn't be able to give me a bid as they were all booked up. Funny why didnt they tell me this Friday or earlier today. Not impressed. My guess is they dont want to work in a Trailer park with old farts. I did not ask about a discount. Hell I was ready to pay whatever they were going to ask. Needless to say, I do not recommend. Especially if you are a Senior in a park. I dealt with what I thought was the Marysville location. Not Renton. I will not recommend these folks. Period. read more

I'll start with my latest conversation with one of the owners, Tyler, who told me he was only calling me because his customer service rep told him to, and that he was completely detached from the situation. I gave him opportunities to rectify my issues, help me understand their services and reset expectations if needed, but he was uninterested in doing so. Their new lawn guys ripped up our yard three times after heavy rain. Thomas, the other owner, offered to fix it which I appreciated. However, the lack of knowledge from their new people became a weekly stressor. They were supposed to mow 2 weeks after fixing it, and they came a week later and started mowing. I stopped them, asked if the 2 week wait was correct, and they said "you tell me." I'm not a lawn professional, so I had no idea. They would let giant weeds grow with no attention, walk through the yard making mud after rain, track mud through out driveway, the list goes on. I had to go outside every single visit. They also almost always only spoke Spanish, which I'm a native speaker, so I had to go out vs my husband who couldn't communicate any needs when he'd try. Overall I am incredibly dissapointed, as I really wanted this to work out after their projects teams did a great job at their initial clean-up and the co-owner, Thomas, is great. Rock from Augusta Lawn Care trailer hit my windshield. Company wouldn't take responsibility for the damage although I called them right away and tried to flag over the driver. Had me submit photos and email but ultimately said they wouldn't pay unless I provided dash cam footage. Would never trust this company to set foot on my property. Horrible to deal with. read more

These guys did a great job aerating my lawn, but the boss was supposed to come and bid on filling and seeding - he never came. I had 2 appointment days and then gave permission to come when I wasn't home and it never happened. Got another company who came out within days, but now I've missed the window of opportunity to get seed started this fall and will have to wait until March. read more

[PLEASE READ BEFORE HIRING AUGUSTA ISSAQUAH] I should start by saying I rarely leave reviews, but my experience was so poor that I felt I owed it to other prospective customers to share what happened to me. I initially found Augusta to do lawn leveling, new mulch in the flower beds, and for regular bi-weekly bed maintenance / trimming (no mowing). I thought it was all priced pretty high, but went forward with it anyway because I thought they'd do a good job. However, they miss-used some of the materials on the wrong lawns (sand on the wrong lawn and top soil on the wrong lawn) and they didn't roll/compact the top soil (as requested) on all lawns before they left leaving it still lumpy. Nevertheless, I got over it and had them begin the bi-weekly maintenance for weeding and clearing all the leaves that fall. Right off the bat, they declined to pull some of the bigger weeds and only wanted to spray. However, they would only spray when the weather was perfect, meaning they skipped spraying for months at a time, letting the weeds grow to massive sizes and spread like crazy. This obviously led to more time being taken in subsequent visits to clean up the property. They also neglected to trim any of the overgrowth because it wasn't the right time of the year to do so. Again, leaving more work for subsequent visits. As for the general clean up of light debris (leaves, sticks, etc.), I also saw a dramatic difference in quality of service based on who was sent. To the point of the property looking no better by the time they left. My wife would sometimes ask me when the yard people are coming to clean it all up and I'd say, they were here today actually. This got so bad that on multiple occasions I reached out to the owner to show them images and videos of the immediate "after". They replied by saying they will do better next time and won't send the person who always did a poor job. This lasted for a couple months before they sent the same guy back and he became the normal person again. It was obvious he just wanted to show up, blow around some leaves, and mark the property as done. Aside from the quality issues, reliability issues were also notable. Originally, my assigned day of the week was Monday, which I requested because I was typically home that day. However more often than not, they were a no show on Mondays and would show up on any other day of the week they pleased - all with no courtesy calls for the no-show or the new day they came on. In hindsight, I have no idea why I kept their services for so long and should have listened to my wife and fired them long ago. However, it wasn't until recently that it got so outrageous that I did in fact fire them. It started with an email that said for Spring 2024 my new day of thew week was Tuesdays and my price per service would not change. I then called and requested my day be moved back to Monday to which they filed the request. Not long after, I got another email with a new quote for bi-weekly service on Mondays that was DOUBLE the price. I emailed back asking why and they replied saying they got new software that said they should charge me more since they spend so much time on the property in certain instances, so that's what the price will be now. All because they neglected to do the general upkeep on a regular basis... I even spoke to the owner on the phone and didn't get much of a response except thanks for the feedback. As a courtesy, I gave him a heads up that I would leave this review. Overall, they are inconsistent, unreliable, and would rather listen to software that tries to optimize their business (based polluted "data") than do what they can to keep customers happy and their properties well taken care of. For someone looking for a good service to keep your property neat, I recommend you give your business to someone else. read more
